'In the Anime series Kara no Kyoukai, Ryougi Shiki can kill superpowers, diseases, and also the world itself. If he can do it, then I should also be able to kill this lightning bolt!'

While shouting, Ryan shot out like an arrow that shot out of his bow.

The dagger in Ryan's hand moved creating a white line in the air, welcoming the incoming lightning strike.

Instantly, the lightning energy that shone down on the area suddenly exploded. The lightning released by Vajra was turned into small electric sparks.

"So this is what it's like to 'kill' lightning .. I can kill lightning, but I'm still a lot slower than lightning." ryan muttered as he lowered his head under the electric sparks that slowly fell to the ground. 

Ryan was in the process of pervading the experience he had just gained.

Seeing Ryan's action, Vajra's eyes widened. He did not expect his ultimate streak to be broken by someone who was not a God Eater.

It took Ryan just 5 seconds to process what he had learned. After that, Ryan immediately stomped his feet to the ground and accelerated to the maximum extent towards where Vajra was standing.

With the Mystic Eye of Death Perception, Ryan saw countless death lines all over Vajra.

Just like the Fused Colony with Kabane as its component, Aragami is also a single entity formed from many Oracle cells.

Even if Ryan kills some of Aragami's Oracle cells, he won't be able to kill the Aragami.

To kill Aragami, Ryan must kill Inti (Core) from Aragami. Aragami's nucleus (Core) serves as the brain that forms and regulates Aragami cells to work according to their function. 

If the Aragami Core (Core) dies, the Oracle cell will not be able to maintain its function and shape. That means death for Aragami.

"As long as Aragami has a beginning and an end, I can definitely kill him!" 

While continuing to move, Ryan looked at the countless death lines on Vajra's body.

It didn't take long, Ryan was finally able to find her. The core (Core) of the Vajra is in the middle of the most superficial line of death.

"Kill it!"

The dagger with the crescent moon emblem suddenly turned into a flash of bluish-white cold light. Quickly, the lightning struck Vajra's body.

"If only my speed could be faster than lightning, then I wouldn't be injured like this. I need to be faster!" ryan murmured while looking around.

Aragami-Aragami of Small and Medium type have been out of the way since the arrival of Vajra. So, as far as the eye could see, Ryan did not see any other Aragami wandering around him.

Not far from its location, Ryan saw Alisa's body lying on the ground with a slightly blackened body.

Ryan then approached Alisa's body and checked her condition. "Thank God, Alisa's still breathing. Now he just fainted. But, this is getting a little troublesome."

Ryan then took Alisa's God Arc carefully and tied it to his back. 

The reason Ryan was cautious was because the God Arc could eat humans who did not match him. Therefore, Ryan took it carefully so that Alisa's God Arc would not activate by itself.

Afterwards, Ryan carried Alisa in princess style. He then began to walk away from the site of the massacre to avoid the return of the Aragami-Aragami.

In this endless barren wilderness, Ryan continued to walk slowly. "This sword is really heavy."

"But at least, I can see the beautiful scenery in front of me, hehehe ..." Ryan smiled pervertedly at the twin mountains of Alisa who had been wobbling ever since as Ryan stepped his legs.

 "Ughh ..." A voice of agony rang out from Alisa's mouth. 

Slowly, Alisa opened her eyes. From her expression, Ryan understood that Alisa felt intense pain all over her body.

"Are you conscious?"

Hearing Ryan's voice, Alisa's body froze. His eyes then widened and completely woke up from his semi-conscious state. Alisa finally realized that she was being carried by Ryan.

"You!" Alisa immediately tried to get down from Ryan's sling.

However, this overly intense movement made Alisa feel a great pain all over her body.

"Ughh …"

Ryan smiled at Alisa like this. “It seems that now I no longer need to remind you not to move much first. The injuries caused by Vajra's lightning attack were quite severe. So rest first.”

Listening to Ryan's words, combined with the current situation, Alisa became very confused. "Why did you save me?"

With a warm smile, Ryan answered Alisa's question.

"Thanks to you, the soldiers you saved were able to escape from that place using the remaining Helicopters. Leaving us both with Vajra."

"Honestly, I really like women like you. She is beautiful, strong, and kind. Therefore, when I saw you hit by Vajra's attack, I immediately ran carrying you." Ryan's smile. 

Of course Ryan did not tell Alisa that Vajra had successfully killed him.

Listening to Ryan's words, Alisa furrowed her brows. He seemed to be indifferent to Ryan's appeal and was just trying to understand the situation now. 

While enduring the pain in her body, Alisa raised her hand and pressed the communicator in her ear.

"Don't forget that you've been hit by Vajra's lightning strike. All of your communication devices must have been damaged by a large current of electricity like that" Ryan said. 

The same thing happened to Ryan. The communicator he was carrying was damaged after his body was hit several times by Vajra lightning strikes. Ryan was unable to contact Hibari.

Hearing Ryan's explanation, Alisa just kept quiet. A deep disappointment appeared on his face.

Sensing this, Ryan then deliberately pierced Alisa's heart with his words. "This is your first mission, right? In your first mission, you first felt a failure in carrying out the mission." 

"In addition, this is the first time you've seen firsthand the sacrifices of those soldiers."

"At the same time, this is also your first time fighting Aragami and getting seriously injured. Ironically, you were saved by someone you considered an enemy."

All these words were quite striking and made Alisa bite her lips. 

Ryan deliberately did this because he wanted Alisa to wake up from her slump. Sweet and gentle support won't work on the type of person like Alisa.

Alisa felt something was awkward from Ryan's explanation. Moreover, he vaguely remembered Ryan without any fear of running towards Vajra. But Alisa prefers to be quiet and think about what steps she will take now.

"Then, what are you planning next? Where are we going?" ask Alisa.

Ryan answered briefly. "I just want to get away from Vajra."

Alisa was surprised by Ryan's response. "Wait, did you decide to run in this direction for choosing it randomly!?"

"Yes not .. I'm not that stupid either. Although I knew nothing about Russian territory, I chose this direction because I saw many Aragami moving in this direction. That's why I chose this direction." Ryan explained.

"So so .. since all Aragami are currently attacking in groups towards the Russian branch, then when there is a large number of Aragami going in a certain direction, then that direction is most likely the Russian branch!"

"That's fine .." Rian's smile.

Alisa considered Ryan's decision in this condition very appropriate l. It's just that, Alisa's unwilling to continue to depend on others.

"Give me back my God Arc." asked Alisa.

Alisa then uses her God Arc as a road aid. He also walked step by step.

Suddenly, the ground around them shook. The sound of giant footsteps grew closer.
