The Friagne (II)

A voice full of excitement resounded slowly from Friagne's mouth.

"That's really Reiji Maigo!"

Reiji Maigo is one of the most valuable Treasure Tools in the world. The person who owns Reiji Maigo can recover the Power of Existence every midnight.

Crimson Denizen needs the Power of Existence to be able to live and use its power in the human world. With the Reiji Maigo effect, the Denizen will not worry about running out of Power of Existence.

In other words, Reiji Maigo was an infinite source of energy for the Crimson Denizen. While there are limitations that the Power of Existence will only recover at midnight, it is not a problem.

Seeing that Ryan was able to move freely relying on the time factor intervention of Reiji Maigo, Friagne's body trembled. He then whispered to himself. "I have to get it!"

A very strong sense of wanting to have emerged from within Friagne's mind. 

"Give me Reiji Maigo!"

As soon as the sound of Friagne's cry fell, he immediately prepared to fly towards Ryan.

However, when the Friagne is about to glide, Shana suddenly appears against him. “No I will let!”

Odachi with a blazing fire in Shana's hand, moved like a red crescent towards Friagne's neck.

 "Don't bother me! Flame Haze's!"

Friagne, who was very calm earlier, looked completely out of control. He then throws a set of playing cards from his hand towards Shana.

Swiiish

One set of playing cards was then split into 52 cards and shot fiercely towards Shana.

“Soaring!” shana shouted as she waved Odachi in her hand. Quickly, Shana slashed through the dozens of cards that attacked her. However, as soon as Shana slashes the cards, the cards that were cut and the other cards immediately explode.

Booms

A red lotus-shaped flame exploded in the air and turned into a fire wave that spread out to tens of meters, causing the temperature in the air to suddenly rise.

Utilizing this, Friagne hurriedly flew towards Ryan at high speed.

“Wire! This is not good!” shana's expression changed when she fell into the Friagne trick. This makes Shana unable to stop the movement of Friagne.

However, Shana does not know, that Ryan does not need his protection at all.

Looking at Friagne who was out of control and sliding towards him, Ryan showed a look in the eyes as if seeing something disgusting.

“Are you stupid? Your attitude like this, really does not reflect the wisdom of a Crimson Lord who got the nickname Hunter.” Ryan said with a smile full of insults.

Ryan said that, but Ryan knew why Friagne wanted Reiji Maigo so much.

The reason, Friagne has a big plan that requires a lot of Power of Existence. With the Reiji Maigo, the plan will be easier to run.

So, despite being referred to as a Hunter, it was only natural that Friagne was somewhat out of control this time around. 

Even if Friagne was famous for her calmness and ingenuity in hunting down the Flame Haze, she would not be able to resist the temptation to snatch Reiji Maigo out of Ryan's hands.

Ryan purposely exposes Reiji Maigo because he knows about what Friagne wants. 

“If you can indeed snatch Reiji Maigo from me, then try it!” 

After saying so, instead of retreating, Ryan stepped forward.

Booms

As if he was setting his foot on the ground, Ryan kicked the wind under his feet and slid off at an astonishing speed to greet Friagne.

"Flashing Sheath: Illusionary Prison Monk (Mens: Maboroshi no Rogoku Soryo)!”

Ryan's figure that slid straight ahead suddenly turned into a ghost. It was as if his body was just an illusion of a mirage.

In an instant, Ryan's illusory body had arrived in front of Friagne. 

Without stopping his speed, Ryan released countless flashes of dagger light and rained down on Friagne's body. So many, these flashes of light had completely covered the Crimson Lord's body.

Instantly, Friagne's entire body was dismembered by a flash of sword light.

“Aarggh!” Friagne screamed in pain. Shortly after, his body split into very small parts.

Wuush

A pale white flame suddenly blazed from all the pieces of Friagne's body, until finally, the pieces of the body became ashes and disappeared from this world.

Looking at a scene like this, the atmosphere became silent for a moment. Until a while later, the Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter opened its mouth first. “Mati?”

The fire-haired girl then slowly landed with an expression of disbelief.

However, Alastor said, “No! He has escaped!”

Ryan had the same idea as Alastor. “I also feel like it.”

Ryan then went downstairs while thinking. A moment later, he understood what was happening. “So so, what I killed was not the original Friagne, but rather a replacement doll made with the Infinite Spell.”

Ryan's conjecture, confirmed immediately the next second.

“Man ..”

Friagne suddenly appeared hovering in a place further away from Ryan and Shana's location. He seemed to be trying to suppress his greed, so the expression shown seemed a little evil. His hands were also seen clenching hard.

With a somewhat depressed voice, Friagne resumed his speech. “This time, I'm really impulsive. Next time, it won't happen again. And when that comes, you won't escape me!”

“I'll make sure, Reiji Maigo is mine!”

After saying so, Friagne's figure suddenly turned into white flames and disappeared from where it floated.

Apparently, Ryan's plan this time to fish and finish off Friagne failed. “I didn't think he managed to resist his desire to have Reiji Maigo. As expected of Hunter. He's really full of tricks.”

"But, if we meet again, I'll make sure I kill you!" ryan's Smile.

"After all, I know where the weakness is. I'll push him slowly, and kill him, hehehehe …"

Soon, Fuuzetsu, who locked Ryan and Shana up. The sky that was once red had turned bright blue again. The fish and birds around the Misaki river move again as usual.

Unlike the Treasure Tool (Hogu) like Reiji Maigo, the Infinite Spell required Power of Existence in order to use it.

Since it was the Crimson Lord who had made this Fuuzetsu leave, then naturally Fuuzetsu would open and disappear.

"The Infinite Spell is truly incredible! Even things like Fuuzetsu can be done."

This was Ryan's sincere admiration of the Infinite Spell. 

The power to stop time in a certain area like Fuuzetsu would be very useful for Ryan in a one-on-many fight.

Of course not everyone can be affected by the Fuuzetsu effect. Even so, the Infinite Spell did not only possess Fuuzetsu. There were many other types of Unbounded Spells that were very useful in combat.

"Unfortunately, my profession is not a Flame Haze, so I can't use the Infinite Spell." Ryan murmured with a long sigh.
