As the Flame Haze, Margery had entered into a contract with the Crimson Lord named Marchosias.

In the Crimson Realm, Marchosias was famous as a great fighting maniac. He chose to come to the human world because Marchosias wanted to fight against the other Crimson Denizen.

Like Crimson Denizen in general, Marchosias also has a nickname. In the Crimson Realm, if Alastor was a God of Punishment and Judgment who had the nickname Flame of Heaven, then Marchosias had the nickname Claw and Fangs Violation.

Marchosias himself personally appreciated Alastor's strength greatly.

"Haha!" Marchosias laughed in excitement and exclaimed loudly, "I didn't expect the Flame Haze that we will be facing to be the contractor of the Flame of Heaven!"

"Oh ..." Alastor made a disgusting voice and said, "I didn't expect to actually meet that bastard Maniac here."

These two opposite responses seemed to tell everyone how Alastor and Marchosias were related.

While Shana and Margery, the two of them looked at each other.

"So then, apparently you are the new generation Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter." Margery looked at Shana with interest and then said in a satirical tone, "I didn't expect a little girl like you to be the Flame Haze of the Flame of Heaven. Honestly, I feel you're less worthy."

"!!!" 

Shana's eyes instantly became sharp the moment she heard that little insult.

"Ooh!" Marchosias screamed like a maniac. "Not bad eyes, hahahaha!"

"really?" Margery looked straight at Shana with a look as if she was looking at a little rabbit. He then shouted in high spirits, "Then, allow me to assess your abilities!"

After which, Margery threw a large hardcover book forward and caught it with one hand.

Around his body, a deep blue fire powder started flying. An extremely powerful aura surged from Margery's body.

Sensing this powerful aura, Shana's eyes burned even more and prepared to fight.

However, Alastor attempted to communicate first.

"Wait a minute!" Alastor asked, "Before it starts, tell me first, what is your purpose in coming to this city?"

"Okay, it doesn't matter I tell you." Margery immediately said, "We've come to chase after that bastard Lamies."

"Lames?" Shana could not help her surprise.

"You mean the Corpse Retriever?" Alastor was confused.

Corpse Retriever, that is the Crimson Denizen that is quite famous.

The reason he was famous was because the Corpse Retriever never ate a human, but only ate the remaining Torch of another Denizen. He was given the nickname Corpse Retriever. The real name of the Corpse Retriever is Lamies.

Because Lamies never devoured humans and only collected the Power of Existence by eating Torch, either the Torch will be extinguished or the new one, the distortion this Crimson Denizen caused to the human world was almost zero.

Thus, to the Flame Haze, Lamies were Crimson Denizens who did not need to be annihilated.

Therefore, Alastor said, “Lamies is harmless. Why are you trying to destroy it?”

The moment these words came out of Alastor's mouth, Margery's aura suddenly turned terrifying.

"Not dangerous?" Margery satirically said, "Where is the harmless Crimson Denizen? Since he is the Crimson Denizen who came to this world, then he must be completely destroyed!"

"That's right!" Marchosias was radical. “Who knew if Denizen was planning something secretly while he was collecting Torch?”

Hearing all these things, Shana and Alastor understood that the two would not be able to negotiate and reach an agreement with Marchosias and his Contractor, Margery.

Shana and Margery Daw became Flame Haze for different reasons. If the reason Shana purely wanted to protect this world, then the reason Margery became the Flame Haze was because she purely wanted to take revenge. 

However, this revenge was not because Crimson Denizen preyed on his parents or those closest to him. But because Crimson Denizen has preyed on the enemy as well as the target of revenge Margery when he was still an ordinary human. 

Hundreds of years ago, Margery was a noble princess living a happy life. However, Margery's life changed when enemy soldiers managed to occupy her territory. As a noble family, Margery was captured and became a prisoner of war. 

While imprisoned, one of the prisoners of war pleaded with Margery to help him escape. With his intelligence, Margery managed to escape with the other prisoners of war.

However, some of Margery's colleagues who helped plan this prison break betrayed. Eventually, Margery was again caught and sold to a brothel as a comfort woman.

After going through many betrayals in her life, Margery finally has a chance to take revenge on the people who have made her suffer.

However, when Margery is about to take her revenge, it turns out that all of Margery's enemies have vanished being eaten by the Crimson Denizen. You could say, one city was a victim of the Crimson Denizen.

With the death of all Margery's revenge targets, he became furious. He felt that the reason for his life had been taken away from him. 

Although Margery lived her life with great suffering, but, she continued to try to survive through all that, all for the sake of revenge. 

Therefore, when the target and reason for his life had been taken away, Margery became very angry. He vowed to destroy all Crimson Denizen. And coincidentally, this strong desire resonated with Marchosias, so they ended up forging the Flame Haze contract.

A vengeful avenger, joined by a fighting maniac, is arguably the worst combination.

"I won't let you kill him!”

Shana raised her hand, and a black robe called Yogasa appeared in her hand. Immediately, he immediately put on the black robe on his body.

In a gust of strong wind, Shana took out Nietono no Shana from the Yogasa dimensional space.

Shana then raised Nietono no Shana in her hand and pointed the tip of her odachi towards Margery. A pair of burning eyes with a strong and unyielding will continued to stare at Margery seriously.

"Lamies had accumulated a large amount of Power of Existence over hundreds of years. If you guys annoy Lamies and make him angry, then with his great power, he can flatten this city to the ground!”

Shana said in a fairly plain, but also powerful argument, “If until that happens, then this world will be affected and create a huge distortion. Therefore, as the Flame Haze, I will not allow that to happen!”

“Is that your reason?” Margery was a little upset and disagreed, "If this is the case, what will you do if I keep pushy?"

“So you don't want to give up?” Shana then declares her declaration to Margery. “Then, I will defeat you and make you obey!”

With this declaration, the battle between these two Flame Haze could no longer be stopped.

“Alright, this is exactly what I expected!” 

As soon as he said that, the dark blue flames started burning Margery's body.

“Fuuzetsu!”

A dark blue wall of fire began to cover the space around Margery and Shana, causing the law of cause-and-effect to break with the world outside the wall, so that the time inside the wall completely stopped.

However, neither Shana nor Margery realized that in this Fuuzetsu, there were two people watching all this from a distance.
