With a single slash, Ryan cut the link between the carriages easily. Slowly, Kokujou's movements began to slow down and further away from the Koutetsujou.

Seeing the Koutetsujou away, Fused Colony shouted loudly. “GRAAA”

Like an incarnation of the devil, the creature went on a rampage and smashed carriages after carriages of Kokujou. He then blindly pursued the increasingly distant Koutetsujou.

“Huh?” Ikoma, Ayame, and Kurusu were shocked at the speed of the Fused Colony. The creature was able to catch up to the Koutetsujou.

With his speed, over time, the distance between the Koutetsujou and the Fused Colony was getting closer.

"If this continues, the monster will chase us within 5 minutes" Ryan said. He then faced Ayame. "Ayame, can I ask for one more thing? Please recruit Mumei to be part of Koutetsujou. With his strength, he could become a major force in fighting the kabane."

"Mumei is a little selfish and simple-minded, but she is not a bad person. I wish you would take it."

Hearing Ryan's words, Ikoma suspects Ryan will do something crazy.  "What are you gonna do? Why did you suddenly say that?"

"As I said earlier, I want to finish my business with that big creature."

"What!?" Ayame, Ikoma, and Kurusu shouted simultaneously.

"Just calm down, I won't be that easy to die." Just as Ryan was about to jump, suddenly a weak voice came from Mumei.

"Why? Why are you trying to help me get this far?" Mumei had no idea what Ryan was doing. Ryan and I have known each other for a few days. Ryan always helped her.

Hearing Mumei's question, Ryan turned towards Mumei who was still being carried by Ayame. He then held her hand gently. "The reason is pretty simple."

With a smile as bright as the sun, Ryan said very clearly. "That's because I like you, Mumei"

"Eh?" Mumei, Ayame, Ikoma, and Kurusu freeze shortly after hearing Ryan's love statement.

"So, live quietly Mumei. And wait for me. It may take me a long time, but I promise to pick you up. When that comes, we can live peacefully together forever."

"Ryan!" Shouted Ayame, Kurusu, and Ikoma. Their voices are getting smaller and longer. The distance between Koutetsujou and Ryan is getting further away.

Fused Colony shouted very loudly. He continued to accelerate at high speed towards the location where Ryan was standing.

"Now, it's just me and you, Biba ..." Slowly, Ryan raised his skinny sword with both hands.

"You sternly stabbed the cute Mumeiku until he was dying! Take the death penalty from me, Biba!"

Although Ryan has said something very cool, but reality says something else.

The monster raised its big hand and hit the rails in front of it.

"RAAAA"

Along with the sound of the Fuse Colony's shout, the explosion caused by the loud impact created a wind wave that spread rapidly. The ground shook like an earthquake.

As a result, Ryan was blown a few meters away by the wind wave. "Uhuk uhuk .." No doubt, Ryan coughed until he bled.

The wound on his chest began to reopen. Blood seemed to wash his clothes. Mixed with the wound on his stomach, Ryan now experiencing extreme pain.

"The ant! Could you give me a minute to drink!" annoyed Ryan. "When in anime, the enemy always attacks the protagonist after the protagonist completes his business. Why don't the rules apply here!"

Ryan continued to look at the Fused Colony's body with the Mystic Eye of Death Perception. Ryan's head suddenly hurt after seeing so many death lines on the creature's body. Because the Fused Colony is a composite of thousands of kabanes, what Ryan sees today is the death line of thousands of kabanes.

"As long as I haven't killed Biba hidden inside the Fused Colony, I won't be able to kill this creature. Now, the only way is to advance through it!"

Ryan flicked his foot to the ground, and slid forward like a bullet. Fused Colony has launched its assault again. Learning from his previous attacks, this time Ryan managed to dodge them. Finally, Fused Colony's hand hit the cliff next to Ryan's. 

Suddenly, one by one the kabane bodies fell from the hands of the Fused Colony. Until finally, the right hand of the Fused Colony completely fell out.

A flash of bluish light seemed to move quickly. Like a snake, he continued to cut off the bodies of the kabanes. With a voice that broke the darkness of the night, he roughly continued to attack the right hand of the Fused Colony that was in front of him.

Like rainwater, the blood from the kabanes gushed out soaking his body. Ryan is now a Devil, with his red body exposed to a lot of kabane blood.

Quickly, Ryan continued to run and jump over the kabane bodies he had cut from the Fused Colony. As he ran towards the chest area of the Fused Colony, suddenly, the left hand of the huge creature hit his own chest. Ryan immediately jumped to avoid the impact.

BOOMING

The vibration from the impact made the body of the Fused Colony collapse backwards. Kabane-kabane that covered his chest also began to fall out due to his own actions.

"RAAAA"

Ryan who was still jumping in the air saw this incident. A smile came out. "When your body is big, once a kabane is still a kabane. They're all really stupid!"

Unwilling to let go of this opportunity, Ryan let his body fall into the chest of the perforated Fused Colony.

From inside the giant creature's chest, Ryan could see a blue light emanating from the body of a man who had now been attached with many kabanes. The iron spear seemed to be creeping like the roots of a tree.

"This is my chance!" Ryan looked at the death line on Biba's body. He then raised his sword and slashed at Biba's chest. 

However, not until his sword touched Biba's blue heart did a long sword suddenly come attacking Ryan. Reflek, Ryan immediately fended off the sword slash.

Ryan then took a few steps back to take some distance from the mysterious assailant. When Ryan saw the figure that attacked him, he was very surprised. "This is impossible! Aren't you already the core of the Fused Colony, Biba!"

"Wait a minute, core?" Ryan finally realized the blunder he made. In anime, the people who can become kabaneri are mostly women. Same with Fused Colony. Only a woman can turn into a Fused Colony.

"It looks like you've expected it now, Ryan-kun ..." Laughter of sarcasm looks from his face.

"The man who injected himself with black blood was not me, but a woman disguised as me."

At the same time, the blue heart of the fake Biba began to emit a very bright blue light. Suddenly, from Biba's fake body, came out an iron spear that directly pierced Ryan's body.

Jleb Jleb Jleb 

One by one, the iron spears pierced through Ryan's body. "ARGHH!" Ryan could no longer bear the pain running down his nerves. 

His entire body had now been pierced by the iron spear except for his right hand.

"I am the winner, Ryan-kun .." said Biba while looking at Ryan's body filled with iron spears.
