Entrance Test (II)

"This is a very simple and crude entrance test." murmured Ryan who was now standing in one corner of the room inside the abandoned building.

Ryan stood waiting for instructions from Ranbyou while playing Moon Blade in his hand. In his ear, there was a communicator headset that Ranbyou gave him.

As Bute Assault, his most important ability was fighting ability. Therefore, it was very natural that the Assault class entrance test could not be separated from the fight.

Based on the information provided by Ranbyou, this abandoned building has 14 floors.

After the test takers enter, the participants will immediately spread throughout the building area while carrying a communicator and waiting for instructions from Ranbyou.

After the test instructions begin, the test takers can immediately move to make arrests of other test takers.

The longer the test taker lasted, the more participants were captured, and the better the test taker's action, the higher the rating he would receive.

“Against a group of students? It's gonna be too easy. Looks like I have to limit my power so as not to kill them.” 

Ryan looked around the area. In various corners of the building, there are many CCTV cameras that capture the movement of test takers directly.

As Ryan was looking at all the CCTV positions, Ranbyou's voice sounded from the communicator. “Tes started!”

"Ranbyou-sensei, can you cut down on drinking a little bit of alcohol? Moreover, you are the main tester on this test.” said an Instructor.

Hearing the reprimand from the other Instructors, Ranbyou immediately glanced sharply at the Instructor. “Without drinking, how can I live with this boring test?!"

After saying it out loud, Ranbyou once again drank a bottle of alcohol quickly, as if he deliberately wanted to get him drunk quickly. The other instructors could only keep their mouths shut.

And most legendary, Ranbyou once destroyed an abandoned residential area on the outskirts of the Academy island while he was drunk. He also intimidated the other Instructors who tried to stop him.

Under such a legend, seeing Ranbyou drinking so quickly, how could the other Instructors not worry.

Had Ranbyou been drunk and rampaging here, then the lives of the test takers and Instructors in this room would have been in danger. Thinking of this, the faces of the Instructors turned pale.

Just then, one of the Instructors quickly said, “Ranbyou-sensei, you should keep an eye on all the test takers. What if a test taker had a psychological disorder and committed suicide? This will certainly trouble us.”

"Dare they do it?" Ranbyou stopped drinking.

Because they are young, they are more impulsive and do not take into account the consequences.

In the past, there was a tragedy when the Assault class entrance test was running. A disciple who was beaten in the entrance test, experienced deep taruma. He finally pointed his gun at the head of the student who hit him and shot him. After he killed the student, he shot himself in the head.

This tragedy made Butei High School criticized by the public. Even all the headlines that cornered Butei became Headlines. In the end, the cabinet minister had to step in to resolve the issue.

In order to avoid a repeat of the same, Ranbyou is asked by Butei High School to actually supervise the test.

However, when Ranbyou finally took a serious look at the surveillance monitor screen and looked at one of the test takers, he was surprised to see the participant.

“Is this person joking?”

 Hearing this, the other Instructors one by one looked at the monitor screen. Shortly after, they were also surprised.

On the monitor screen, a test taker was leisurely walking in a hall within the abandoned building without hiding his whereabouts.

A little while later, Ryan stopped his steps and spoke to himself. “You're already here?”

Ryan looked around. In some corners, there were three test takers hiding while pointing the muzzle of his gun at Ryan.

This is what surprised Ranbyou. Ryan accidentally exposes himself to the other test takers to lure them out.

But, Ranbyou thought this plan was quite stupid. Although the test taker uses a bulletproof uniform, but if exposed to many shots, then the body will feel very sick, as if being hit repeatedly by many people.

The three people who were preparing to shoot Ryan didn't look like ordinary people. Their movements are trained enough for students who have just graduated from Junior High School.

From this, it was clear the three people were not ordinary test takers. Most likely they came from an Junior High affiliated with Butei.

Butei has an affiliate system that allows affiliated Junior High School graduate students to enter Butei High School without a test, but this does not apply to Assault classes. To enter Assault class, all applicants must undergo a test first.

In addition to the affiliate system, Butei also opened an apprenticeship system, where Junior High School students could apply for admission into Butei High School as apprentices.
