Unexpectedly, the cloud again enveloped the Russian sky. Finally, the lightning began to thunder, emitting a dazzling radiance and illuminating the sky from time to time.

Just below the layer of dark clouds, a military helicopter turned its propeller and flew slowly towards the Russian branch.

In the helicopter, Alisa looked at the night sky that had been rumbling ever since. "Isn't flying in extreme weather like it's dangerous?"

Ryan who was looking through the data in his tablet, answered Alisa's question casually. "Our luck shouldn't be so bad. Look, until now this helicopter has not been struck by lightning."

"Ugh... Can you worry more?" alisa Protest.

"Of course I'm worried. There is a slight mistake, we will not be able to return to the Russian branch. It's just that, thinking about all that now is pointless." Ryan said as he continued to swipe the tablet's screen panel.

Suddenly, Ryan's expression turned serious. Then he looked out the window. "Alisa, look outside!"

Hearing this, Alisa looked towards the direction Ryan's gaze was fixed on. At that instant, Alisa's expression also turned serious.

The sound of roars mixed with the sound of footsteps and also lightning, gushing through the air.

Countless Aragami troops walked neatly on the ground like ants coming out of their nests.

There, there are various kinds of Aragami, such as Ogretail, Kongou, Chi-You, and also Vajra.

The various Aragami are moving in the same direction, namely the Russian branch. 

"This ..." Alisa was surprised by this sight.

Although Alisa already knew about this in the conference, but seeing it directly made her realize that the current situation is very serious. 

After Alisa admitted her weakness, she now realized that with her present ability, facing an Aragami army of this size was suicidal.

Alisa can indeed defeat Aragami of Small type like Ogretail easily. But for Medium and Large Aragami, Alisa could only slightly injure them.

Ryan suddenly commented in a slightly annoyed tone. "In the face of an army of this magnitude, the Russian branch did not hesitate to trap the reinforcements that Fenrir had sent the Far East branch."

"They were even willing to sacrifice the Army, the God Eater, as well as their important mission, just to keep the secret they were hiding!"

"I hope the secret really deserves to be kept secret!"

Hearing Ryan's remark, as a God Eater affiliated with the Russian branch, Alisa really did not know what to say. What Ryan said is true.

If Alisa were the one before, she would definitely not care about any of this. All he has in mind is revenge. Therefore, all this time Alisa only obeyed orders from superiors regardless of the reason.

But this time, for the first time, Alisa thought about the motives of her superior. "What are they really hiding? Until they go so far like this ..."

As Alisa was thinking, suddenly Ryan's voice sounded. "We have arrived …"

This voice woke Alisa from her daydream. Then he looked out the window.

Not far from the Aragami forces, tall buildings and various military facilities surrounded by defensive walls were visible before his eyes.

However, instead of being happy, Alisa was surprised. "The Aragami army that came attacking is already this close?"

"Based on its speed, these Aragami troops will arrive in front of the wall of the Russian branch in a few hours!"

"But why did the Russian branch not send its troops to repel the coming Aragami? Hasn't the defense plan been drawn up at the conference?" alisa said with a tone of doubt.

"This is really weird. The Russian branch looked so calm." Ryan looked at the situation around the wall, but there was not a single God Eater tasked with dispelling the Aragami army.

"And apparently, the time I have is not much either. I must uncover their secrets before the Aragami forces attack the Russian branch!" ryan murmured while pressing the touchscreen panel in his hand. 

In a moment, the speed of the Helicopters they were riding increased sharply. Quickly, the helicopter flew towards the Russian branch.

After a few minutes of flying, the helicopter that Ryan and Alisa were riding on almost reached the military base. 

Before the helicopter lands on the military base, Ryan intends to jump first.

As Ryan was about to jump, Alisa held onto Ryan's wrist. "Go to the main building of Fenrir and don't stop!"

"I could have killed them all, but that would only have given the Russian branch time to hide, perhaps even destroy all the evidence of that secret."

"Therefore, this time I will also do the sneaking into the main building, the same as before" explained Ryan.

Alisa looked at Ryan seriously. "Every Russian helicopter has been fitted with GPS, which means they know we're coming." 

"We have now slowed down the speed of this helicopter to make it easier for you to jump. Of course this will make them suspicious." 

"I know that. But, it's better to be suspected and keep sneaking around than barging in from the front blatantly." Ryan replied.

Hearing Ryan's words, Alisa slightly lowered her head. Moments later, he looked back at Ryan as if he had decided something.

"I'll go in with you. With my status, I can freely exit and enter the main building. In the meantime, you hide, then follow me secretly."

"Huh yeah?" Ryan was somewhat surprised by Alisa's proposal. In other words, Alisa was willing to cover Ryan.

"You want to expose their secrets?" Ryan looked at Alisa with a questionable expression.

"Why would you do that? As a person from the Russian branch, you have no reason to help me right?"

"Because I want to save the Russian branch" Alisa replied seriously.

"As I said before, I will decide for myself, whether you are an enemy, or a friend. And this time, I decided that your aim was not at all to harm the Russian branch. And so, I'll help you."

"The reason why I became a God Eater is because I used to be too weak to save anything." Alisa's expression looked gloomy, but she did not avoid Ryan's gaze.

"So, this time, I want to rely on my own strength to save everyone." After saying so, Alisa took off her hand.

Ryan looked straight at Alisa's charming face and finally let out a long sigh. He decides to follow Alisa's plan.

After that, Ryan sped back up the speed of the helicopter and flew straight to the Russian branch of the military base.

As the helicopter landed, a group of heavily armed soldiers quickly surrounded the helicopter. 

Alisa came out of the helicopter with her cold face.

Upon seeing Alisa, the Vice-Captain leading the troops heaved a sigh of relief. "Alisa Illinichina Amiella!"  

The Vice Captain said to Alisa with a very serious expression. "Why are you back now?"

Hearing this, Alisa's face did not show any expression, she still looked cold and indifferent as usual.  

"Did the higher-ups know that I was back?"

"Yes." Yeah." The Vice Captain nodded, his expression still solemn. "Captain is very angry that you have violated his orders. I hope you're willing to accept the punishment."

"By the way, have the people who went with me on previous missions thrown all their blame at me?" alisa asked without looking towards the Vice-Captain.

"Later I'll explain it to the Captain myself."

After that, Alisa no longer cared about the horde of soldiers who had surrounded her and directly walked towards the main building.

Seeing this, the Vice Captain could only resignedly watch him leave.

Beside the main building, Alisa's cold face began to collapse. He then gently sighed deeply and looked at his surroundings.

At the same time, a black figure suddenly shot out from a dark corner. The figure approached Alisa with a smile.

"You really are the golden boy of the Russian branch. As expected of the New Type (New-Type). Even if you break the orders of your superiors, with your position, you can still escape punishment easily."

Alisa was a little surprised by Ryan's presence. "Are you ready?"

"I'm ready." Nod Ryan.  "So, what's your plan?"

"I've heard that there is a room in the main building, dedicated to placing a supercomputer. All information inside the Russian branch is managed and stored there."  

"If you go there, maybe you can find information about the secret that caused Venus to go berserk" Alisa replied in a low tone

"Okay, where should we go?"
