Second Round With Friagne

In this bright red world, explosion after explosion had appeared on the outskirts of the Mana river. This pale white flame explosion created a shock wave that mixed with a large amount of dust and wind.

The scale of the explosion was indeed not how big, but its strength was not bad. At least the successive explosion had made a hole in the river's periphery.

Friagne floated above the Mana river, holding his hand like an upper-class person watching a movie. His mouth was always smiling superficially, enough to make any woman fall in love.

All around his body, puppet troops of various sizes floated up like a parade.

After a while, finally the bursting streak stopped. The puppet troops that were around Friagne were also no longer sliding down 

On the outskirts of the Mana River, the fire waves that had been created had finally begun to slowly dissipate. The heavy dust and wind also started to slow down.

Looking at the edge of the river full of holes below, Friagne's expression did not change in the slightest. The puppets beside him also remained helplessly floating.

“This is just the beginning. You could say, this is a warm greeting from me. I hope, you are happy to receive it.”

After Friagne said that, from the bottom, inside the dust smoke that had not completely disappeared, the sound of laughter rang out loud. “Hahahahahaha ..”

With that loud echoing sound, a white line suddenly appeared splitting the dust smoke that still filled the outskirts of the Mana river.

Ryan slowly pulled his dagger, raised his head, and looked up with a faint smile at the corner of his mouth.

After the dust smoke surrounding Ryan disappeared, there are now many holes in the explosion around Ryan. However, strangely enough, only the land where Ryan stood was still intact.

“Did he manage to block all my attacks?” Friagne blinked her eyes and muttered, “No! He didn't block it, but dodged all my attacks!”

Right, Ryan didn't touch the doll that was sliding towards him at all. However, he just moved to avoid all the dolls.

“You really aren't an ordinary human being.” Friagne said with a laugh, “You can avoid all successive attacks from me perfectly. Even that Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter boy would not be able to do it.”

“Not really. Me and him have very different fighting styles.” Ryan shrugged, and said, "Shana is the dealer's type of damage, where a direct attack from her would be very dangerous. Very different from me who is a speedster, where my fighting style is more concerned with speed."

“Then it is only natural that all my attacks can be avoided. Moreover, all your attacks are very slow.”

“Since then, your words have been full of irreverence. I assure you, I will keep that dirty mouth shut forever.” Friagne said in a relaxed tone, but there was a hint of anger hidden in her speech. “Once I find a chance, I will not hesitate to make a fatal attack.”

After speaking at such length, Friagne raised his hand and flicked his ring finger.

As soon as the snap of a finger rang out, almost all the puppets around Friagne immediately shot towards Ryan like arrows coming off his bow. Now, there are only the remaining dolls beside Friagne, including Marianne.

The bodies of all the puppets that shot down instantly emitted a dazzling white light. Instantly, the puppets exploded a pale white flame.

However, in the next second, in an endless series of explosions, a shadowy figure flashed riding on the fire wave and encountered the other puppets that had yet to explode and were still hurtling towards him.

Before long, the figure turned into a ghostly shadow, and the shadow, as if splitting apart, increased to a thousand shadows.

"Flashing Sheath: Instant Prison (Senses: Sokuseki keimusho)!"

Each of those shadows flew into the sky welcoming the puppet that came with a sharp dagger in its hand. Flashes of sword light emerged from those shadows and instantly slashed at the puppet that was in front of him swiftly.

In the sharp sound of a slash, part by part the body of the puppet was cut with great smoothness and precision. Various parts of the doll's body began to splatter in the air.

After eradicating all the puppets that attacked Ryan, the thousand shadows merged into one figure that quickly arrived in front of Friagne. 

Seeing all this, Friagne's facial expression changed slightly.

"Finding an opportunity to launch a fatal attack on me?" Ryan's voice was clearly heard in Friagne's ears. "It should be suitable for yourself, the pervert doll-lover!"

After which, the sharp dagger in Ryan's hand turned into a flash of sword light that pointed towards Friagne's body. 

"Flashing Seath: Seven Nights (Senses: Shichiya)!"

A beautiful aurora-like slash pierced through the sound barrier like moonlight.

That extremely fast slash, made the stunned Friagne unable to dodge. Even if Friagne had expected Ryan's attack, still he would not have been able to avoid it perfectly.

As Ryan has said, this is a fatal attack from Ryan for Friagne who has boasted that he will carry out a fatal attack on Ryan.

However, Friagne would not be called a Hunter if he did not have a backup trick.

So, just before Ryan made a very quick slash, Friagne moved his right arm.

A pleasant bell ringing sound suddenly rang.

As the sound of a bell on Friagne's arm rang out, the four puppets that were on standby around Friagne suddenly emitted a pale white light.

Soon after, the four dolls exploded.

The four explosions then merged into one and caused the creation of a wave of white flames that spread violently.

The area around Ryan and Friagne immediately became a little shaken with such a thing.

Shortly after, Ryan's body was thrown out of the center of the explosion. 

After Ryan's body was thrown for several meters, Ryan finally stopped. While continuing to float in the air, Ryan looked at the Friagne who was in front of him in a state of fine.
