Misaki City

Misaki City, this is a fairly large-scale city and is famous for its unique landscape. The city has a very well-organized layout.

In the city of Misaki, there is a long river that stretches from the North to the South Region of the City, passing through the city center.

Misaki City has a business and entertainment district located in the Eastern part of the City. While densely populated residential areas are in the Western part of the City.

And the connection between the two urban areas between the East and West side is a large iron bridge that is quite spectacular. This iron bridge is called Misaki Bridge. While the name of the river that stretches in the city of Misaki is named Mana River.

In the residential area on the west side of Misaki Bridge, precisely at the end of the main road, stands an apartment building.

This apartment building is not too small, but also not too big. It is similar in size to a dormitory and has many rooms.

At this time, the door of one of the Apartment's rooms opened slowly. From inside the room, Ryan came out while looking around.

"Is this Misaki City?"

Ryan then got down from the apartment and went to the main road. From the main road, Ryan can see the Misaki Bridge.

The morning sun slowly illuminated the sky, illuminating the entire Misaki Bridge as well as the Mana River. Light reflected on the surface of the river makes the water look sparkling.

From here alone, it has been seen that Misaki City is famous for its unique scenery.

At the same time, Reiji Maigo who was in the Accessories slot began to emit a dim light. It was as if Reiji Maigo was overjoyed to have returned to his hometown.

As the owner of Reiji Maigo, Ryan can feel the feelings of Reiji Maigo.

"I don't know what Shakugan no Shana's world is, but it looks like it's an alternate world from Reiji Maigo before the Reincarnation Room picks it up." Ryan murmured.

With such a feeling, Ryan sped up his pace and walked forward.

Ryan realized that the people who had the fire inside their bodies were all dead.

They all died because they had been killed by creatures from another world.

In the world of Shakugan no Shana, besides the human world, there is another world. This world is called the Crimson Realm.

Of course, humans in general would not be able to go there

In the Crimson Realm, there was also life. Creatures that live within the Crimson Realm are referred to as Crimson Denizen, or can be called Denizen.

Crimson Denizen is a completely different life from humans. The difference here is not referring to physical appearance, but rather strength.

Unlike most ordinary humans in the human world, the Crimson Denizen was a group of people who possessed strength.

After knowing the existence of the human world, many residents in the Crimson Realm wanted to go to the human world for various kinds of reasons.

Only, this world belongs to humans.

Just like the Apartment whose room had been all full, there was no more room for other outsiders to enter.

Therefore, Crimson Denizen could not exist naturally in this human world.

To be able to remain in existence in the human world, Crimson Denizen maintained their survival and strength by absorbing the Existence of humans.

Without Existence, the Crimson Denizen would not be able to appear in this world, and would not be able to use force.

The existence absorbed by Crimson Denizen is called the Power of Existence.

Crimson Denizen continues to swallow the Human Power of Existence in order to stay in the human world and do whatever they like.

The people who had been swallowed by the Crimson Denizen would be transformed into soul flames. And these people will be gone when the fire of his soul runs out. 

They would disappear from this world without leaving a trace, not even a single person would remember their existence, as if they had never existed in this world.

So, the so-called Torch were the ones whose Power of Existence had been swallowed up, and left only residue as an alternative to being placed in this world.     

The Torch was deliberately created to avoid contradictions and distortions affecting the balance between the human world and the Crimson Realm. Because the loss of the existence of one human being greatly affects the workings of the world.

To avoid the destruction of the human world, Crimson Denizen created the Torch as a way to deceive the human world system. At least, that proved successful.

Of course, Torch is just a replacement made from the residue of Power of Existence. Like a flame in general, sooner or later the fire will be extinguished.

Thus, the ones who had soul fire within his body were only the ones who were already dead, and sooner or later would disappear.

In other words, at this moment, all sorts of Death had been present around Ryan.

Shortly thereafter, Ryan stopped his steps. His dark eyes were now replaced by ice-cold blue eyes, a sign the Mystic Eye of Death Perception had activated.
