NON POSSO VIVERE SENZA ON TE Part 37. A Deal in Breakfast?
I showed up at Monica's restaurant after finishing my short breakfast in the morning at a bar . Breakfast for Italians is just a caffe-latte, maybe a few pieces of biscuit, a sweet croisant with jam or butter, maybe a small piece of cake. The bottom line is a sweet treat that wakes you up in the morning and a shoot of caffeine.
Hisao and Nathan once protested with my breakfast for not being used to it. Eat breakfast with all-sweet portions and small portions of croisant. Japanese breakfast compares to all kinds of carbs and protein, even with miso soup and fish in the morning, and a stack of bacon, sandwiches and sausages - an English breakfast 'em ,italian breakfast is like a child's toy.
We did that because we had dinner quite late and with the full portion, at least eight o'clock and if summer might be even more night. So it is still quite full in the morning, after all most Italians are afraid of fat. They take great care of their appearance whether it is male or female.
Last night I managed to take him to the Canary for a short year-end vacation. I told Mamma very early in the morning, who only smiled and nodded. He has to help me complete this mission. My life depends on him now to take Zia Minetti...
