I'm back in LA now, back to my routine at the office. I prepared my successor in the West, after reporting to Alan that I might resign in the near future.
"really?" He laughed when I told him everything.
"I'm sorry, I let you down, Mr. Alan." He shook his head.
"It's only fitting that you can so quickly find various frauds, your analyst's brain is trained at a different level than most people."
"A year on, I've trained the best assistants and staff on my team. I'll give them to you and do my best to replace me in the West."
"Don't Nathan keep you here, your job's quieter here."
"He's holding me back of course, but you know, I have my own career ambitions... I hope you can understand my choice."
"Hmm. You're too smart to be here. There's a lot of bad guys out there waiting for you to catch." He finally let me go.
Even though I didn't tell him all the conflicts but I told him what the real reason was, I told him I was being honest with him who I was in his honor and that Nathan already knew.
Meanwhile, Ailes' case turned out to be in the process and will soon go to trial.
In California, attempted murder, even if unsuccessful, could put you in prison for life.
Ailes according to Sean most likely could be subject to this punishment. He's already determined to kill me by hiring a killer. But this girl turned out to be pretty smart, she didn't talk to the police, and the cunning criminal lawyers she hired, setting the stage that they just wanted to teach me a lesson instead of murder.
Because there's no evidence that he wants to kill me. The conversation was conducted in person by telephone. There's no evidence whatsoever he said he was trying to kill me. This assassin also knew what could relieve him from being charged with first-degree murder.
"So what should I do ..." I thought about it too and asked Sean.
"Whatever the outcome I think we leave it to the system, we threaten him outside or in jail after this meeting."
"You mean after this meeting?"
"I want to make sure how she behaves with you. Meet him and lure him to say something, whether he's scared or if he hates you. The prosecution gave me permission to visit, I'll scare him a little. If he wins he may only be jailed for 5 years. His lawyer will use all the narratives to deflect the possibility of him carrying a weapon as well as a silencer." I understand where Sean's talking is going.
"Good... I'll try to lure him."
"And I'll just threaten him. I didn't expect him to be this slick, but it wasn't surprising that he had met a lawyer and set everything up. Fishing will be difficult usually. But we'll threaten his weak point alone, that surviving killer." Sean had already decided what he was going to do turned out to be.
"You mean you're gonna use threats to make him tell the truth about what Ailes said."
"I use the Garcia family's big name, the two claws don't know who he's dealing with. The prosecution managed to give us a chance to personally meet before the hearing to shake the testimony of both. I just need your presence to threaten him"
"So then, we'll give it a try if that's the case..."
And for that we met a gang of assassins, the one who was assigned to kill me. This time I saw his face clearly. They are Mexican immigrants who are involved in crime gangs.
"So you're the one who wants to kill me." I sat in front of him. "Jose Altuve, you brought a gun to my house." He looked at me with a cynical look.
"I was just ordered to scare you. No one wants to kill you Miss, don't think you're too tall to kill." He laughed at me and saw that he had been trained to talk by the lawyer.
"Ohhh I won't listen to you what you say, I assume everyone who enters my house with a firearm is intent on killing me, that's why I shot your friend..." I smiled at him. He looked at me with hate. "You're lucky you weren't the one who tried to unlock my house, it was you, you ended up in a coffin.
"I didn't want to make things difficult for people who were just told and paid. It's your risk of getting caught, but now it says you're set up by the lawyer who told you to kill me. I'm gonna make a calculation right now, 'cause you're troubling me."
"Making calculations, who do you think you are you can do calculations?" He laughed at me and underestimated my words.
"Young man, you piss me off, you know who this Miss is?" Now Sean's talking. "You know why the cops didn't arrest you? But hunters..." He's looking at Sean now.
"She's just a pretty sharp-mouthed woman, who is she...?"
"Have you ever heard of La eMe, Nuestra Familia?" Sean whispers. The man's face changed now. He seems to know who Sean mentioned.
The man looked at Sean like he was seeing a ghost right now.
"So .. now do you know how Juana and Mona Altuve are, and your father Antonio Altuve, I think they hope you make the right decision so that their lives are calm in San Joaquin, he said, I heard they've had a pretty good life, but you're going too far...." Sean just needed to smile and talk whispered to her.
"Don't touch my fucking family!" He got up, but Sean got up too.
"Jose Altuve, it's not my decision but your own, don't let my boss be impatient with you and assume you're making things difficult for him. I can't control what your choices are not. It depends on your own decision. You took this risk and you took it, this time you're lucky this Miss in front of you forgave you."
"You ..." He pointed at Sean angrily but seemed helpless.
"Every once I've been here to tell you your decision, maybe I can help you a little bit and I'm not upset that you're wasting my time. I am lazy to deal with people who do not know themselves. But if you tell me the truth I'll make sure everything's okay outside from now on."
"You'll be charged 15 years at most, in fact many opportunities for you." Sean only needed a few words to threaten the man as it turned out.
La eMe Nuestra Familia, I don't know which part of Garcia is involved with this organization but they do exist and operate. People in this dark world might by hearing his name imagine the horror if it had become their enemy.
"How is... What answer?"
"I'll work together to tell the truth."
"Hmm good, I'll see for myself how your testimony will be in court."
And one problem is solved.
"Died this Ailes."
"What are you gonna do?"
"Sama, I'll just threaten him. You can talk anything to offend him. He'll be harder."
And now I'm in front of the woman who wants to kill me Elizabeth Ailes. He showed no remorse and no request for forgiveness. This one woman seems to know in the absence of evidence that she ordered to kill me she will benefit greatly.
"This is the woman who wants to kill you." Sean pointed at Elizabeth Ailes.
"Well, he's the one, because I leaked his fortune from a cheat." I answered Sean.
"Ohh yeah I heard it, I also heard this Ailes case turns out father and son alike ended up in jail very unfortunate." Sean's talking about it now.
"Wait who you are. I don't intend to kill anyone." Elizabeth Ailes stopped Sean's words. Sean looked at her, and smiled coldly.
"Miss Ailes, you hired Robertson Hodges, he's indeed the best choice for a criminal lawyer. He may be able to get you a minimum sentence, but for me if you're charged one week that's enough..."
"What do you mean..."
"You've heard that punishment in prison is another world. The world in which you have different rulers, the rulers of which are the inmates. So easy for me, I can get you anywhere. It's easier to torture you." Sean silently looked at her, making sure she understood.
"So Miss, I may not be as famous as Robertson Hodges - but I really like to pay a visit to the women-only facelitas here to visit some good friends. You better be careful if you want to reverse the facts at the trial, because I won't really have time to supervise your trial, I'll just see the results you confess or not. If you don't confess, it's easy, I also know some very skilled people turning the facts around in prison." Mr. Sean smiled sweetly at the girl in the prisoner's shirt.
"But if you confess and use your money more wisely, then maybe I can make you feel more comfortable later. You see, I mean, you've been real-life guilty, better confess well and ask for help to someone who can make you through your penance more comfortable. You're so unlucky to be dealing with the wrong person this time, my advice is not to make the rest of your life worse...."
Wow a very simple threat, but Ailes doesn't even know how to retaliate now.
"That's it, I'm done. Miss, let's just go home, spend some time here. It's no use..." Elizabeth Ailes sat in her chair and Sean turned around again. "He you want to see me you can ask your lawyer, he knows where to look for me. She consults me often by the way, so you can ask her what I'm telling you is true or not."
"Wow... You're so great, Mr. Sean." He's laughing a little.
"Behind the boss who is smart to make money, there are people who do the dirty work for him Miss. Mr. Nathan doesn't have to threaten himself, I'm trained for this. I really like my job..." Sean laughed and I looked at him with disdain.
The lawyer who did the dirty work for Nathan. These people understand the system and know how to outsmart it to their liking.
