Forget about Yamasaki.
Two weeks have passed and I haven't contacted him. He must have known I was flouting his greatly underestimated offer. And beat him up by paying me ten hours as my payment to listen to his useless words.
"If it doesn't get my grandfather's approval Yamasaki-san can't force anything. He has no governing power whatsoever. My grandfather promised not to agree to any matchmaking now in exchange for him not making a decision on whether he agreed to my request."
"Ahh so. Let's just say Yamasaki-san is not a problem. If Kimiko brings any more cookies, you can't eat them. Just give it to your staff."
"Hmm so you can be jealous too Hanii bee?"
"You're only standing 50 feet from his house."
"Sana call Nanao if you don't believe me I've ever received it."
"Hmm. You're so sweet." I'm glad I have someone I can trust. True said Uncle Tan, he was indeed trustworthy.
"Uncle Tan said you were a loyal lover, I tried to listen to what he said."
"Uncle Tan, you mean Derrick?!"
"He thinks of me as his nephew. But he's good."
"Didn't you like it before."
"Hmmm...." Hisao smiled to see me just muttering.
"So I should thank him for this too."
"Yes, back when I was young, I still liked to look for unnecessary problems to prove myself. Abilities are still lacking but like to brag, I was once scolded all-out by Derrick. But finally from his teaching I realized I was doing stupid things, and became focused on what my family expected. My grandfather thinks he's family even though he doesn't actually work for Grandpa. But a confidant my family's grandfather in Hong Kong. Now he thinks you're a nephew..."
"Maybe he just felt guilty about my father's death."
"Eatya do not be too easy to fall in love with Uncle-uncle and Grandpa-grandpa. Your taste is unique."
So all I have to do is work at my best, at my job and on my other work schedule. In this one week I was in Tokyo, there was a schedule of filming new tourism commercials and helping government guests.
My summer and autumn schedules are full, I can't take much off. Just two days in between this month. Now I have to bring one assistant to help me as well, but since the schedule is very busy I also have no chance of meeting Hisao. My schedule has nothing to cancel or tuck in at all.
The work weekend is finally over. My assistant can go back to Kyoto and the last day I can have a day off with Hisao, I feel guilty not having time for him now. We haven't seen each other in nearly three weeks. But by the end of next week I had promised to follow him to Hong Kong instead.
I'm still wearing my kimonos until 10. Nanao is still waiting for me.
"Nanao-san, you're home? Is the car there?"
"Of course, there's a Miss coming." Nanao. "I haven't seen Miss for a long time."
"Nanao's work is a lot, this week I'm actually in Tokyo but I have too much to do. I'll go upstairs first...." Finally I immediately went up to Hisao's room to meet him, it felt like I really had a fast ending today so that I could hug him right away.
I opened the door, it was unlocked. She saw me, her hair was still wet, she had just taken a shower but was already wearing comfortable-looking home clothes.
"My beautiful love has returned home." His greeting made me scatter into his arms and hug him as tightly as I could.
