Why his mom's coming to NY next week he's going back to Chicago. Usually their house will have a big family party Father and Mother.
"Nathan, um,..." He walked into his son's office and hugged him.
"Mom, are you here? I'm going back to Chicago next week. You're usually busy preparing for Christmas parties right now."
"Mommy only visits friends briefly for two days. Your father didn't come with him in Chicago. Ohh yeah I'll just stay at your house okay."
"Ohh, I'm staying at home..." She hasn't told her mother she lives with Kate.

"Then? Why is your face so..." His mother asked with a smile. His mother had a guess about this.
"I'm actually living with someone right now, I haven't told Mom yet."
"That's right, it's okay Mom would love to meet him. Let Mom guess, the same girl you brought in Chicago isn't." Now Nathan is smiling. "Mom knows you, if you're bringing someone means you're somehow very attentive to them, even though you may not have said it right then, otherwise you just put it outside your personal circle. "You're gonna take him to Chicago for Christmas?"
"He must go to Florence to meet his family. He hasn't seen his mother in a long time. They invited me there."

"Wow great department. Why yesterday he was your assistant." Nathan laughs.
"The story is complicated Mom. But we're finally together now, she's a smart girl, I love her, I feel happy with her...." Nathan can't tell the full story of course, he's afraid his mother is worried about his safety.
"Well, later tonight Mom can chat with him for a while I guess, first impression Mama met yesterday she's a polite girl and knows to carry herself. I didn't have a bad impression on him. "Nathan, I think you really should be with him. Lamarlah this girl... He made your home a real home. Mom liked it..."

Daisy, the maid who worked on the big runway, saw her Master Mother greeting her immediately.
"Mrs welcome, you want my cooking, we have salads, pasta and meat, I have desserts too."
"Ohhh you cooked Maria?"
