Touching Your Heart

Touching Your Heart
Odd Taste

Hours passed. Gwen suddenly opened her eyes due to the slight shock from the plane as it crashed into the clouds. He felt a strange, terrible sensation that made his stomach feel bad.

It took several minutes of gloomy and tense silence before he managed to stem his feelings. The woman looked around with interest.

The dark cabin, with faint aircraft engines barely disturbed the silence around it. A person had broken down his chair and covered it with a thin blanket, and a pillow was positioned under his cheek. Curtains covered the round windows, but when glancing there, it turned out to be as dark outside as inside the plane.

Gwen turned her head slowly, finding herself staring directly at Kayden's deep face. That unexpected closeness surprised him. For a number of reasons, he didn't expect the man to fall asleep right next to him, and Gwen felt somewhat uneasy seeing Kayden like this, coupled with the statement she made a few hours ago.

Like hers, Kayden's chair was tilted back, his dark head drooping casually on his shoulders, facing towards Gwen. It was seen that some buttons on the shirt of the man were opened, and the cuff of his arm was rolled so that it showed a smooth and dark fur on his arm that was yellow.

His hands were also loosely linked over his lament. The golden ring that Gwen wore on Kayden's right hand at the urging of the man gleamed softly in dimness. Gwen immediately glanced at her own hand, clenched in a manner similar to Kayden, then observed the matching ring she was wearing.

“Married, to an unexpected man. And my husband turned out to be my own boss,” Gwen said. He then smiled grimly as he stared fixedly at the man's face. “What does this man really think about the bond he has done? Is that right, she likes me? But if she really likes me, why before her sister she was too cowardly to tell me?” his inner.

As usual, Kayden's face revealed nothing. Even in a deep sleep, Kayden's face still held his own thoughts. However, with cold black eyes hidden behind the eyes that formed two dark arches on his high cheekbones, Kayden's countenance softened as the hard lines of aggressive determination subsided deeply. And his lips looked softer, more amiable, forming a subtle curvature that looked sensual in Gwen's eyes.

It was shocking, because the woman had never thought of Kayden like that before. However, now he felt a sigh within him, similar to the sweep of the tips of the fingers on the inner lining of his stomach, and his heart was pounding ever more violently.

“No, this is not true.” Gwen denied it and closed her eyes again, blocking the sight. Kayden may have made himself irreplaceable for Gwen by now, but the woman didn't want to start feeling that way about Kayden. It feels too much like despair.

“Rainer ..” With sadness and hurt, the sigh of the name escaped Gwen's lips.

“You're up?”

Gwen opened her eyes again and found herself staring directly at Kayden's dark bead, but her highlight wasn't very probing in the darkness. “Do Kayden know when I start thinking, Rainer?” inner Gwen. It was strange how the man had always managed to pierce his mind, even before Gwen had time to reminisce about Rainer Kim's smooth and sweet face.

“Why?” kayden asked with a heavy voice because Gwen never answered.

“I'm up.” Gwen slowly stated the obvious. “How much longer is our trip?” tanyakanya.

Kayden raised his arms, his eyes narrowing as he looked at the clockwork attached to his left wrist. “Six more hours, more or less,” he told her. He then raised his hand, the tip of his fingers rubbed the hair dangling on Gwen's cheek. The action shocked Gwen— meaninglessly not because the man touched her, but because the same sighing sensation in her stomach had jolted her away.

Gwen immediately realized with great regret, that her attitude had offended Kayden as if he was attacking the man. Traces of gentleness vanished from the man's face, and Kayden straightened his body back up. The back of his chair he stood up, then turned on the lights above his head.

Gwen remained silent in place for a while, a feeling of guilt squeezing her chest. Then he slowly lifted his body. “Sorry,” said. “Au—”

“Your father and mother were engineers, weren't they?” Kayden cut his apology.

Gwen frowned because the man knew about her late parents. Then he asked, "How do you know?"

Kayden smiled with a grin before he replied, “I know everything about you.” Yeah, that's right. Kayden Kim is famous for being smart and powerful, especially in the life of Gwen, so no wonder she knows everything.

“My father who is of mixed Indonesian-Russian blood, met my mother who is of mixed Indonesian-Chinese blood. They were married in Jakarta, until one day they had an accident while reviewing a building project they were working on at that time.” Gwen told him with a trembling voice. Her delicate hand was raised to the neck to cupper the small golden pendant she always wore. “And they died at the scene because their bodies were hit by concrete.”

“How old were you then?”

“Fifteen years.” Gwen smiled sadly.

“But, you still miss your parents,” Kayden concluded.

“Ya.”

“Take it easy,” muttered Kayden, when he saw Gwen's eyes glazed over. “Forwardly I will take care of you.”

Gwen just stayed in her place. Closing his eyes for a moment felt a soft touch on his shoulders. A touch so sincere from Kayden to encourage him, as if like a supply of electricity flowing through his entire body.

The rest of the journey was very heavy. Especially since Gwen could no longer sleep for hours, and had to sit quietly next to Kayden instead. The man seemed to immerse himself in his work documents.

Kayden took out a briefcase that Gwen had not noticed she had been carrying until the man pulled her from under the chair.

And, in addition to joining her in enjoying a soft drink to relieve the boredom, Kayden continued to ignore her for the rest of the trip.

Gwen had just managed to hold back the beginning of her next nervousness, when Kayden suddenly leaned his body towards her. The man's warm body swept across his body as he opened the window curtain of the plane.

“Looks ... soon we arrive at Heatrow,” said Kayden and leisurely return to his own seat.

Gwen's eyelashes trembled, and her heart beat faster as the fragrance of Kayden's perfume so pierced her sense of smell. A moment that surrounded Gwen completely, while she overcame the storm due to the gentle touch of the man.

“Dan .. welcome to London,” said Kayden softly, then smiled faintly to Gwen.

Gwen remained silent. He was still busy taking in his shaky breath and neutralizing the work of his heart. However, Gwen's hand is stretched out as the plane begins to land. It was an instinctive move to reach something, and it just so happened that Kayden's arm was there when Gwen breathed out a sharp sigh in great dismay.

For a minute, Gwen realized how tightly she gripped Kayden's arm, and with a sudden blushing cheek, she let go. “I'm sorry,” said.

In response, Kayden grabbed Gwen's hand, placed it back in her arm and held her there. “You can hold on to me as hard as you want. That's why I'm here. That's what I want.”

Gwen was again so amazed and amazed by the treatment and assertion Kayden said. But he hid it with a thud. This man—man who was beside him at this time, always gave him a surprise that was ready to thrilling his heart work like a time bomb.

But no, the woman denied it in her mind while shaking her head slowly. They are married, it does not mean he can just fall in love with Kayden, he thought grimly.
