Touching Your Heart

Touching Your Heart
Uncontrollable

After forty minutes to relax and linger over dinner, they return to walking. Still in the area around Notting Hill, Kayden decided to show a market on Portobello Road.

“Don't be far from me,” Kayden warned as they turned the corner towards the stalls lined along the way with a sea of humans.

Gwen nodded seriously while holding Kayden's hand tightly.

They haven't been back to the hotel all day. So, Gwen was still wearing a simple light blue dress, and the only accessories were a small black leather bag draped on a long, thin strap on her shoulder. The contents were just cheap lipstick so that people who would pick it up were certainly disappointed.

They wandered along a row of stalls clad in vintage clothing and handicrafts. For a moment, Gwen's eyeballs glowed with a passionate charm at the sight of Big Ben's miniature, antique polaroid camera to the adorable-looking Paddington teddy bear.

It flashed that he was stunned that people could buy antiques here. Then, Gwen finally decided to stop by an accessories kiosk, observing something that caught her attention.

“Kay, can you lend me your money?” asked Gwen hesitantly. “I didn't have time to exchange my money, and want to buy this.”

“Hour hand?” Kayden asked, his voice soft.

“He um,” Gwen nodded. “My hands are left in your house, Kay,” he explained.

For a moment, Kayden looked at him while frowning. “You're kidding, right?” he finally asked. “You seriously want to buy this cheap watch?”

“I'm not kidding, Kay!” Gwen firmly. “If you think it's cheap, but it's so antique and what's more I want it so badly. The price was cheap,” he added quickly as Kayden shook his head.

“Gwen, if you want a watch,” said Kayden flat, “ayo, we look for a jewelry store and I am very happy to buy it for you. The original, not a knit watch like this,” he added, glancing mockingly at the accessories kiosk.

Gwen's eyes widened to hear the scorn, then rebutted impatiently. “Oh, you don't underestimate it,” he said. “If this watch strap is knitted, but looks ethnic. Truly fashion this year, Kay,”. “And of course you should not be afraid. Tomorrow I'll pay after I exchange my money for dollar.”

“It's not about money, Gwen. But, kan—” Kayden's sentence stopped when Gwen first threw her face towards the seller.

The woman finally bargained with the seller, lowering the price while the opportunity arose. Kayden sighed, letting himself witness this woman he married, quickly offsetting the seller in a difficult bargain.

But Gwen enjoyed it. Seen in her beautiful twinkle of eyes as she turned her head towards Kayden. “Well,” said quickly. “We already agree.”

“How much?” kayden asked lazily as he stood up and crossed his legs.

“Two dollars only,” replied Gwen triumphantly.

Kayden smiled wryly. “Good job,” he praised. “Although, bargain alot once.”

Gwen flashed her smile before she said, “In the end I won, didn't I?”

Kayden did not answer, but he shook his head. Slowly he outlines his arms to reach into his pants pocket. Then, as if his authority as a man diminished by allowing a woman to close the transaction, he turned toward the seller and handed him two dollars.

The salesman took the money, handed something to Kayden that left him struggling to get the horror out of his face.

“This is indeed a watch,” Inner Kayden. “But—” Kayden frowned impatiently at the sight of a watch with a wide knitted strap of a bright red color, and its own hands were Hello Kitty hands.

Gwen didn't even pick a watch from a classy brand like a woman would with a millionaire.

“Yes, pardon ..” grumbled Kayden in disbelief as he shook his head. “You prefer this toy clock!”

“This is right, antique and funny,” said Gwen, extending her left arm so Kayden could pair the watch on her wrist while pursing her lips, “Is the time right?” ask him, as soon as Kayden is done.

Kayden extended his arm forward, checked his real pure gold Rolex, then looked at the time Hello Kitty showed and grimaced. “It's accurate.”

“Because that's why you want it?”

“He um,” Gwen agrees. “And I love it too,” she added, her white teeth biting on her full lower lip as she looked innocently at Kayden. “First time Rainer—” Because he realized there was an error in his sentence, he poked his lips inside to silence his mouth. “You are so stupid, Gwen! Why do you have to mention the name of that damn guy, his inner”.

Kayden looked at him sharply along with his hardened jaw, for he disliked the man's name when it was mentioned by his wife's lips. “You are Mrs Kim who likes to heat up,” she accused.

Gwen frowned confusedly before she asked, “You mean?”

Kayden gritted his teeth, not liking the question. And when she wanted to answer even more cruel questions than that, suddenly someone accidentally pushed Gwen from behind, making her take a step forward towards her husband. Then, Kayden's arm instinctively stretched out to hug to protect her.

Their bodies touch. Passion is like electricity throughout both bodies. Gwen trembled, as Kayden's chest went downhill, struggling to breathe air.

“We have our streets,” said Kayden rasping. “Come, go from here!”

Gwen did not argue, instead letting Kayden embrace her under the indentation of a possessive arm, and they broke through the crowd to get to a nearby station.

The train they were riding on looked so crowded. Gwen stood with her back leaning against the metal wall near the door. While Kayden stood in front of him, one of his hands was propped up on the handle, while the other hand was wrapped around his wife's waist. Kayden did not speak and Gwen also pursed her lips. However, he could feel the tension awakening between them as the long carriage swerved towards their stop.

By the time they came down, Gwen had trouble breathing. Kayden's face tensed— did not smile at all as they climbed the escalator to the surface of the road.

The hotel is both a few steps away. There, they had to take the elevator with some people who were in pairs. Kayden and Gwen did not speak a word to ease something pulsating between them.

Kayden stood very close beside her, half twisting towards her so that Gwen could feel the warmth of the man's breath on her cheeks. For a moment, the woman's breath came to a halt as their gaze collided, and a pair of gleaming black beads that seemed to be sending out a heat wave.

Suddenly Gwen felt her husband deep inside her again. He knew very well that Kayden was very angry with him at the moment. A name of someone who should not have been thrown from his lips, making the warmth of their togetherness hours ago disappear instantly, replaced by a cold atmosphere and Gwen also realized she did not like this situation.

Gwen cursed in her heart while turning her face away quickly. His mouth dried up, his heart pounding in a mixture of regret and uneasiness.

A few seconds later, Gwen realizes she has missed the rest of the short trip to their bedroom floor. He kept his head down so that his hair could hide the burning hue of his cheek.

As they stepped into the corridor, Kayden grabbed it again, pulling it along a thick gray carpet towards their room. He did not stop until he stepped into the bedroom, where Kayden finally let go of Gwen. Quickly the man closed the door, then leaned back there. His eyes instantly closed, his chest rising and falling by a sigh of tension.

“Ka-kay,” Gwen finally ventured to call him. “I'm sorry, if—” Suddenly the woman's courage evaporated, not continuing her sentence when she saw Kayden who immediately opened her eyes. Then, Gwen stepped her feet back because she was surprised to see a burning highlight there.

“Kayden!” Gwen gasped as the man briskly walked towards her, then unbuttoned the front of her dress violently. “Stop, Kay!” she held her husband's arm tightly to try to throw him away. However, Gwen was helpless as Kayden's power was stronger than her.

Kayden who was completely out of control, he did not hear Gwen's plea. The man even more tore the cloth until some of the curves of his wife's body are clearly visible.

This is not true. A husband should treat his wife gently, not rudely as Kayden does now, Gwen thought.

Gwen did not want her pride to be lowered like this by her own husband. So, still wearing light blue flatshoes, he immediately stepped on Kayden's strong legs wrapped in black shoes so that the man hissed in pain, then pulled his body slightly back.

And in a split second, with a wail of tears, Gwen instantly slapped her right cheek. Then, he shouted, “I'm not a bitch, keep it!”

Kayden jerks. His hand rubbed his hot cheek from his wife's violent slap.

“Sorry,” said Kayden raucously, after a long pause. “I've behaved rudely to you like—” He was speechless, apparently at a loss for words. His jaw immediately stiffened from being fed up with himself. “I'm sorry,”. Without even looking at Gwen, the man walked quickly to the bathroom and locked himself in there.
