Touching Your Heart

Touching Your Heart
Mr's House. Kim

Uncle Joe, aunt Meli and Lucia immediately widened their eyes in shock at Kayden's words.

“How can it?” exclaim uncle Joe.

Without making small talk Kayden finally told them firmly and simply, that he and Gwen had fallen in love at their first meeting at the Kim family-owned company. And since then, for reasons of principle both of which must be professional in matters of work, they have tried to fight their own feelings.

Over time, Rainer's younger brother, who also works at a company led by his older half-brother Kayden, also likes Gwen. Not wanting to wait long, Rainer finally declares love to Gwen, and Gwen accepts Rainer's love because she wants to forget her feelings for Kayden.

The highlight was last night, the day before Rainer and Gwen's wedding which was to be held in the morning. Realizing that Kayden with his love for Gwen is huge, he tries to stop Gwen from marrying Rainer.

However, Gwen refused to back down from the wedding plans because she felt she had that commitment. Until finally this morning, out of desperation, Kayden revealed and approached his sister to plead on behalf of the two of them.

As for Rainer's actions after his stepbrother revealed everything about the feelings of love between Kayden and Gwen, he immediately canceled marrying the woman who had fallen in love with his stepbrother. Kayden was sorry for all the hurt and shame they caused. However, she has no regrets about stopping the marriage.

Kayden calmly told Gwen's uncle and aunt and her best friend Lucia that after the wedding ceremony, he would take Gwen to his house. And the next day, Kayden and Gwen will leave Jakarta for their honeymoon for one month until the commotion subsides.

After Kayden explained everything, the room went back into silence. And oddly enough, Uncle Joe seemed to appreciate the way Kayden was determined to protect what he now claims to be his.

“Gosh, Gwen ..” Lusia then sighed. “Why have you never told me this?”

“You shouldn't have to accept Rainer's love if you still love your boss, Gwen ..” Aunt Meli's timpan is gentle and she just trusts Kayden's confession.

“I'm sorry for everything.” Gwen answered by lowering her head. He did not know what to say, especially because Gwen herself was so reluctant to chim in or add Kayden stories.

The man seemed to be very shrewd looking for an excuse so that his sister would not be blamed by Huang's uncle and aunt, as well as his best friend Lucia in this case. Despite the fact that it happened, Rainer left Gwen on their wedding day because Rainer still loved another woman who became his first love, Valerie.

As if reading Gwen's mind, Kayden acted. “There is no time. Guests have arrived. We must immediately carry out this event.”

Uncle Joe took a deep breath and then slowly exhaled. “Yes, you're right,” the ideal. “Gwen, are you ready, son?”

For a moment Gwen was silent who still lowered her head. It took Gwen a few seconds to answer, “Ya, I'm ready.” The sentence finally came out of his thin lips, after he had previously raised his face to look at his uncle and aunt.

“Yes God, Gwen ..” Aunt Meli hugged her beloved niece again. “I love you, Gwen. Love you so much. I consider you my own son. I hope you are always happy after this,” he said in a trembling voice.

Gwen also tightened the warmest hug from her aunt after her mother. “I also love you very much, Bi ..”

Not waiting long, Uncle Joe finally decided and told Kayden so did Gwen immediately carry out this sacred procession. They all walked to the park, where the sacred wedding ceremony took place.

Some of the guests who arrived, immediately seemed surprised because who stood at the wedding altar as a bridegroom was not a man whose name was written according to the invitation. They also wonder, why their boss and the owner of the Kim family company who is known to be flat-faced and not always smiling, can marry his own secretary, Gwen Sandriana Decker?

While some of the guests were close relatives of Gwen, they did not know much about Gwen's future husband because the woman herself had never previously introduced her. So no wonder, they look ordinary and look like a happy face because they see the two brides who they think are so harmonious.

And over time, the sacred procession of the sacred promise of marriage took place solemnly and joyfully. However, not for Gwen because of the sudden pain lodged in her heart, which is now officially bearing the wife of Kayden Kim, a young and successful businessman.

In Kayden's luxury car, Gwen rested her head on the soft leather seat and closed her tired eyes. He had never felt so tired and empty like this in his entire life.

Even Kayden did not allow Gwen to be spoken to alone with them, after all the invited guests greeted the bride and groom to congratulate them, and some of them went home with astonished and wondering thoughts.

Now in the car, Gwen doesn't even know if Kayden takes her anywhere. However, what Gwen knows, she is greatly relieved to learn that the man managed to convince her uncle and aunt as well as her best friend, that all of it was done for the best. Instead of being heartbroken by Rainer's abandonment, Gwen is actually very grateful not to be married to the man.

Although Kayden may have saved Gwen's self-esteem so that she was not branded as the bride to appear, the man is mistaken to believe the solution has saved Gwen's self-esteem because it is not true.

Now, it was Gwen who looked like the side that was looking rather than being shown. And actually it's just as bad as it may not be acceptable to him, as it is to the people who are important to him.

After a while, the car stopped. Gwen opened her eyes to gaze at Kayden Kim's elegant-looking, luxurious and prestigious residence in Jakarta. Without a word, Kayden got out of the car with his flat face wrapped in an expensive suit while opening the passenger door. Then he helped Gwen down, guiding her into the man's house.

As they stepped into the vestibule, a middle-aged short man with his partially white hair mixed in black and his face so tense, instantly walked up to them. “Yes Lord .. Mr. Kim,” said he was out of breath. “I'm glad you finally came too. The phone didn't stop ringing and—” Sure enough, as if getting a signal, the phone started to shrill as the middle-aged man was still talking. “All of your coworkers and some journalists want to talk to you. I don't know what to say to them. And some of them said, Mr. Rainer left the bride ..” He suddenly hung up his sentence because he was jolted to realize the presence of Gwen who seemed half hidden behind the figure of Kayden. “Oh .. gosh, I'm sorry. I—”

“Just unplug that damn phone cable, Uncle Robert!” Kayden roughly ordered, then turned to embrace Gwen's shoulder. He guided Gwen up the stairs and down the upper floor to the masculine room.

“This is my room,” Kayden told Gwen. “Sit down, I won't be long. I just want to change my clothes.” Kayden left without waiting for Gwen to answer, and she disappeared through another door.

Gwen, sitting in a brown leather chair beside Kayden's large bed, looked at the marble floor of the room blankly. His mind was empty, and reactions began to take him to a place deep within that no one else could go.

The woman tried to move, but she couldn't. It was as if Gwen could not remember how to make her limbs move. His face was stiff and pulled down. His shoulder hurts from tension. His head was throbbing and his eyes were sore but hot and dry.

Vaguely Gwen heard the sound of a water shower. That's all he could hear. Until time passed, the silence of the room did not affect him. His hands were slumped on his side. And strangely, his fingers were extremely heavy as if a heavy weight was pulling at every corner. He continued to look at the marble floor with a blank look and a feeling of emptiness.

A few minutes later, Kayden returned. He stopped walking when he saw Gwen. The smell of the man's soap spread in the air around them. Kayden then narrowed his eyes, observing Gwen with a somewhat worried look.

“Gwen,” call Kayden carefully.

Gwen could not even lift her face. He heard Kayden's voice calling out to him, but he did not answer. His head felt heavy, as if someone was pressing on the top of his head.

And because Gwen did not react, Kayden also approached the woman. The clean scent of soap strengthened as he got closer to Gwen. A very strange feeling due to the burden that the woman was experiencing suddenly paralyzed everything except her senses.

Gwen's senses are still functioning well. His sense of smell, hearing, even his sense of taste seemed intact as Kayden reached out to grab his chin, then raised his face so that he could look at him.

“Mandilah!” persuade Kayden, then he pulled his hand from Gwen's chin. “Bathroom is there.” He pointed at the arched door. “Maybe you are a little more comfortable and calm after you clean your body.”

“We shouldn't have done this wedding, Mr. Kayden!” said Gwen raau. “This is not true. It's not—”

“I think we agree that I am the one who will think!” kayden's calm voice interrupted. Then he crouched down in front of Gwen, then cupped Gwen's clenched hands and gently squeezed them. “Trust me, Gwen,” muttered Kayden. “I promise not to disappoint you.”

Gwen flinching. Instantly a feeling of nausea enveloped him. Followed by a dark feeling of dizziness, followed by a sense of disgust that tortures himself to make his body bend itself. Then, with a sudden movement whose mind was paralyzed, Gwen pulled her hand from Kayden's grasp, then she stood up and walked into the bathroom.

According to Gwen, she needs a bath. His cold and trembling skin, bristled with disgust until he felt the need to wash it. The woman ignored Kayden's sincere remarks.

As for Kayden himself, he momentarily closed his eyes after the sound of the bathroom door being violently closed by Gwen. Then he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, after opening his eyes. “I will be patient waiting for your love for me, Gwen,”. The man again sighed tiredly before he decided to stand up, then turned his body and looked at the bathroom door.
