Touching Your Heart

Touching Your Heart
Togetherness

Four days later, after Gwen had cleaned her body, had her hair ponytailed, and was dressed in a plain blue sleeveless dress, she sat down at the dinner table chewing on warm buttered bread. While waiting for Kayden to take a bath and get dressed, he enjoyed his breakfast quietly.

Breakfast, as Kayden called it. More like a nutritional fix, Gwen thought, grimacing while swallowing her mentega bread. Feeling her cheeks heat up as she sits there, barely believing in her own change, or the change forced upon her, Gwen corrects her own thoughts.

Suddenly she faintly grinned when she remembered her days were filled with Kayden's attention. The kiss on his forehead or on his lips he always gets every time. The man also always invited him to chat casually on the sidelines of his work. Sometimes they also make love when the night begins to arrive.

However, Gwen could still feel Kayden deep inside her. He admitted his inner embarrassment while putting the rest of his coconut bread on the dinner table, then resting a glass of orange juice before he stood up, and set his feet to look at the tallest building that tapers at the top.

A shadow of their romance these few days immediately appeared in Gwen's mind. His whole body could still feel the pleasure of his touch. Her lips were throbbing craving a kiss from her husband's lips. It feels so amazing, warm and dizzying.

Over time, Gwen is able to eliminate her feelings for Rainer. Of course it made Gwen aware with her shock which made her horrified. He could barely remember Rainer's face now, let alone the love so deep every time Gwen thought of him.

Then, Gwen sighed uncomfortably because she did not understand love at all. If it had to describe those emotions, then Kayden was now the one he could call.

As if getting a cue, the man suddenly came over, then hugged Gwen's slender waist and hooked her hand on Gwen's stomach. “What's so interesting out there?” kayden asked as he inhaled deeply the scent of lavender that came out of his wife's body.

Gwen opened her eyes. “See, the building looks tall and uniquely tapered top.”

“It was The Shard,” Kayden corrected it amusedly. “The Shard consists of ninety-five floors, and also offers forty-mile views across the city of London,” its mesas. “This building is one thousand sixteen feet or three hundred ten meters tall. And the tower itself was designed by the famous architect Renzo piano.”

Amazed by Kayden's broader insight, Gwen snorted mockingly at herself. “You are like a walking library knowing everything,” he said, as he turned in Kayden's arms to face him. “And you—Oh,” he ended it with a small readiness.

“What?” kayden asked softly, then smiled as he saw the confusion on Gwen's face.

The woman instantly held her breath as she looked at Kayden who was very different from the man who walked out of this room twenty minutes ago.

After bathing and shaving his thin mustache clean, Kayden now looks very handsome. His wet hair he combed neatly back. The smell of expensive perfume is so masculine, out under a blue shirt without a collar that is casual and classy. The smell was so disturbing his sense of smell because it caused something that he began to recognize as dangerous and tempting.

“You look attractive,” says Gwen shyly.

“You too,” reply Kayden. “Very beautiful and also attractive.”

Gwen blushed at her husband's praise. Then, a second later Kayden looked down and kissed her. This kiss tastes different. Warm, slow, and soft. More like their kiss on the dance floor that night.

Instinctively Gwen's hands stretched out, finding Kayden's nape, holding on there to prolong the fun. Kayden himself hooks a hand on Gwen's back, then gently pulls her closer so that this beautiful moment Gwen will cherish forever.

A few seconds later, Kayden broke off the kiss. The next second, however, her lips immediately kissed Gwen again with a gesture that seemed strangely poignant.

When Gwen dared to look at him, she found Kayden's black bead darkened by a mood the woman could not explain.

“You are very special, Gwen,” Kayden said hoarsely. “You know that?”

You too, so Gwen wanted to say, but didn't have the courage to say it. So, instead he tiptoed to return Kayden's kiss, and the woman blushed in embarrassment as she moved away.

Evening has arrived. Kayden decided to take Gwen to dinner at one of the restaurants in Notting Hill, London. While dropping her body on the wooden chair, the woman immediately frowned because the atmosphere of the restaurant was far from luxurious and glamorous.

“Tumben you take me to eat at a restaurant like this?” Gwen asked because she was curious.

Kayden chuckles. “Like this how do you mean?”

“This restaurant is not fancy, Kay,” Gwen replied casually.

“You don't like?” ask Kayden softly. “Do we look for other restaurants only?”

“Do not,” reply Gwen quickly. “I prefer this simple restaurant over a fancy restaurant. Usually, restaurants like this the food served is even very delicious.”

“Know where if the food here is very delicious?”

Gwen smiled widely before she said, “From the world's culinary shows that I often see on TV.”

Kayden laughed at once. Not laughing in the sense of ridiculing or demeaning it. Rather, the man was so amazed to hear the honesty of Gwen's lips. How innocent his wife was to the point that she did not reply to protest. Gwen was not offended by the laughter. He liked it because he thought it was better that way than to see Kayden who was forced with his face always tense, without a single smile.

“If so, now you can enjoy the food here directly,” timpal Kayden, then call the waiter and order the food.

“Of course,” replied Gwen, ending with a smile. “I will not waste this golden opportunity.”

And it was really delicious food that Kayden ordered, after previously a waiter served the mainstay menu of the restaurant. For a moment, Gwen looked stunned when she tasted pieces of meat steak covered in mushroom sauce that was so distinctive, different from the others.

While eating the most delicious dish, the two of them also talked. Kayden talked about some of the projects he was working on with his friends, and Gwen tried to be seen balancing them with a conversation about a building that was of fantastic value.

However, on the sidelines of their chatter, Gwen was very tempted to observe the man's every move. Kayden was so handsome that it was too unfortunate to take his eyes off him. His sturdy jaw, perfectly matched Kayden's broad shoulders and looked so strong.
