Silence also hit after the heat struggle. Kayden seemed to be distancing himself, while Gwen closed her eyes, noticing tears looming behind her petals. And he knew that he could not look at Kayden lying next to him, for the woman who started him urged him to obey his will so that Kayden would have to end it.
Suddenly Gwen began to shiver, feeling ice-cold as she cursed her wildness that should not have happened. Kayden then pulled the winding blanket from under Gwen's body and covered the naked bodies of the two of them. However, as Gwen infiltrates the blanket, Kayden pulls Gwen, her strong hand holding her struggling wife, flips her over, makes her curl up, and hugs her while Gwen looks shaky.
“Try not to think anything, Gwen,” muttered Kayden in a low and hoarse tone. “Lay alone in my arms.” A kiss landed on the top of Gwen's head. “Do not regret it because we both want it.”
Gwen fell silent in Kayden's arms, whose skin still felt moist from her completely dry sweat. He did not want to answer any more did not dare to think too deeply to regret what was currently happening. It was just that she was a little surprised because her body did not reject every touch that her husband gave her. Let him be a little selfish to drown his mind, asleep in the warm embrace Kayden had offered.

The next day, Gwen wakes up because the sunlight has broken through the closed curtain. Faintly he also heard a familiar voice in his ears, sounding rude and angry.
“Do it!” Kayden's voice sounded somewhat muffled by the walls and distance. But it was obviously his voice—tense from being impatient.
Still half sleepy, Gwen slowly pulled her body to sit down and lowered her legs to the floor before realising she was not wearing a thread, and gasped to remember why she was naked. Then, he grabbed a blanket, wrapped it around his plain body, and sat shivering as pieces of heat last night flashed in his still-misty mind.
It was an incident that he said was horrible and embarrassing, about him offering himself to Kayden who almost begged to want every touch of the man's body.
“Yes, Lord ...” One hand shaking raised covered the eyes. Shame burned him when Kayden's voice sounded again—heavy and angry.
“You know, don't you? I really don't care about other people's business even if it's my own family!” snapped Kayden. “Let it just cause trouble!” emphatically. “Ya, I know,” he replied. “Please delay first and wait for me to return.” Kayden sighed tiredly before continuing his sentence, “I don't know when I will return to Indonesia. For sure I will wait for his readiness to go home there.”
Slowly but surely, Gwen straightened up, her hands sliding down from her face when she realized Kayden was discussing her.
“Rainer?” Kayden laughed mockingly. “Since when did he care about anyone other than himself?”
Oh dammit. Feeling a great thump when his heart like sticking up just because of hearing Rainer's name called, Gwen stood up and forced her legs to step, although she walked a little staggered because of dizziness and nausea.
“Oh. He must have seen it,” grumbled Kayden. “Gosh .. haven't they all seen it in the newspapers?” he growled violently. “He just wants to destroy me for revenge,” his Jeda. “Of course Valerie. Whahuh? Obviously I love him. You can not imagine, how for many years I harbored feelings of love so great for him.”
Gwen frowned so deeply when she heard Valerie's name. With sore and burning eyes, Gwen looked at the void and saw a cruel truth mixed with bitter eyes looking at her.— Kayden loved Valerie.
“I regretted it because my mistake was, not immediately realizing he would do so for the sake of replying to me,” continued Kayden bitter. “If I had known from the beginning, I would have stopped him. I love him so much.”
With the blanket held in one cold, trembling hand, Gwen walked to the other door. He stretched out his other hand to open the door, pulling it so that it could step quietly into the next room.
Kayden stood by the table, and he was seen only bare-chested, his towel wrapped around his waist. The man turned his back on Gwen with his expensive phone stuck to his ear.
Gwen nodded at hearing that. Is that what he means to Rainer? An item to be removed, not a lump of meat to be preserved. And ridiculous again he was made into a fight against the brother.
“Alright ..” Kayden sighs. “Let him alone. At least he had gotten his wish from the cursed mess he created himself. And this time I won't let him tease what should be mine.”
“Mine?” Gwen said it while frowning.
Kayden could hear it so he turned around, his eyes radiating anger to the point that he realized who he was looking at. Then, the highlight slowly turned into anxiety.
Gwen did not speak, as if her voice was stuck in her throat from hearing all the horrors that were happening. And Kayden himself, it seems he can't say a word.
The man immediately disconnected his phone before he stared intently at Gwen's eyeball, then said, “Don't think of anything because this isn't what you think.”
“You turned out to be a liar, Kay!” gwen whispered sharply and shattered. “You are just like your sister, lying to me on the pretext of loving me.”
Kayden's jaw hardened, disliking his wife's accusations. Then, he steadily said, “I'm very different from him. And I really didn't lie to you about me loving—”
“Valerie, if that's what you mean.” Gwen laughed bitterly at her stupidity until she cursed herself, before she gave a sharp look and said, “I have to know the harsh reality again and again, that you love Valerie.”
Kayeden fell silent, but she frowned deeply, looking increasingly confused. Not only that, the hue dyed his high cheekbones, and his dark eyes splashed with rage.
“Yes, Lord ..” Gwen chokes, leaning weakly against the door. Having truly understood the whole fate of his complicated and unclear love, according to him. “Stupid me,” whispered. “Truly stupid.”
“You don't understand what you're talking about,” Kayden said.
“Really?” Her eyes that were reddened from holding back tears, glanced at her husband. In his eyes, the man was different from Kayden Kim whom he had been used to seeing for these few days with him.
However, in the end this was him, the real Kayden Kim. The supreme leader Kim Corpuration was more introverted, but his aura was stronger. Can control all things just by plucking a finger so as not to show its weakness at all.
A few seconds later, Gwen's mind jolted as she recalled last night's events. In a voice implying his despair, he asked Kayden, “So, last night why did you make love to me while you loved that woman?” Gwen clutched the blanket that covered her chest. “Are you just using me? Or even use my body to take revenge on your goddamn half-sister?”
“What do you mean?” Kayden asked still with a deep frown, along with gnashing his teeth. Then, the next second he said, “I'm not that shortsighted. You misjudged me, Gwen!”
“Yes, you're right. I did misjudge you, to the point that I was so stupidly caught up with the sweet words of brother and sister Kim fucking,” Gwen accused him because his heart was too sick. “Yes, Lord ..” The woman sharpened her eyes, her own body slightly trembling as she tried to straighten out of the door. “I don't want to get involved more deeply with your affairs,” he said, then returned to the room, stood observing the surroundings with a blank look, not knowing what he would do next.
