Egbert insisted on not letting Emma stay. Other than because of his deep hatred for the woman. On the other hand, there was a feeling of insecurity in him when his former lover was around him. Emma clearly felt so damned. He tried hard to seduce Egbert. It even reminded Egbert of how sweet he used to treat her. But why was Egbert still so adamant about not allowing him to stay?
Annette was of course pleased that Egbert balked at Emma settling in the castle. It showed that Egbert was not happy with the existence of the vampire woman there. Even though he doesn't know the reason. Was it because it was uncomfortable or what? But Annette certainly felt it was a little strange.
However Egbert has a special past with Emma. But why is his attitude so cold to his ex-girlfriend? Did they break up well?
"Darling, let him stay"
"No, he can't"
"Honey, this is my request.." Annette rubbed Egbert's shoulders gently. His smiling eyes, subtly reminded Egbert that he should obey all of his words this week.
"Alright, he can stay" That's how the decision was made.
Emma didn't know if she should be happy or not. Because obviously Egbert allowed her to stay it at the request of Annette. Not on his own initiative.
"Thank you Egbert, now I can calm down" Emma was seen smiling in relief.
"No need to thank me. Thank my wife. I let you stay because of his request" said Egbert so coldly. It was like a pointy ice rock that pierced deep into the bottom of Emma's heart.
Forcing a smile on her face, Emma turned to Annette, "Thank you" It was stiff and her beautiful face was obviously very depressed when saying it.
"Sama-sama" Annette's voice sounded so melodious and her smile appeared so beautiful on the surface.
Emma was very upset to see him, without a word she immediately left Egbert's study.
"Why did you let her stay? Isn't this not going to be comfortable for you?"
It was not a jealous play. But still allow him to stay? Egbert thought Annette was feeling pity, but she didn't.
"You don't know?" Annette turned to Egbert with a very wide smile again satisfyingly.
"You what?"
"I've just won against her" Once again Annette published her smile, her little lips curling high upwards in a very charming manner.
Egbert only frowned for a moment. He did not understand the way Annette thought.
......................
The days passed peacefully. Annette began to adapt fully to being a mistress of the castle who only knew to indulge and enjoy luxury. She continues to play her role as a mother as usual. He woke up early and prepared all Aldrich's needs. But the difference between the shuttle business, it was done by George.
In the morning, at the breakfast table. The little family activity was normal as usual.
Annette examined him anxiously, "Egbert, what's going on? Does this have anything to do with Aldrich's stupor back then?"
Egbert placed the glass containing his freshly drunk rabbit blood slightly on the table, looking towards Aldrich, "I don't think so"
"Then why does Aldrich get hives like this? He's never been like this before. And again, this was a few days ago. Instead of missing, the itching looks worse"
"I'll call Doctor Robbin here. You don't have to panic so much. Itching won't make him die"
"Egbert, how can you act like that to your own son?" Annette obviously doesn't look happy. Egbert has been a bad father so far.
Aldrich only glanced at Egbert with a cold look, so he still said something to make his mother calm, "Have ma, no need to be so anxious. Damn guy*n is right. Hives like this won't make me die"
Egbert had just grabbed his glass, preparing to chug it down. But he canceled his intention and stared displeasedly at Aldrich, "When are you going to stop calling me a bad guy*n? I am your papa. Even if you're not happy with the fact, at least be a little more polite"
Aldrich ignored Egbert. He finished his glass of rabbit blood and got off the chair, "Maa, I'm gone"
Witnessing that, Egbert clasped tightly onto the glass in his hand, suppressing all his displeasure over Aldrich's attitude.
In addition, Emma only languished in her room for almost a full day. He rarely went out and let the waiter occasionally come carrying a few bottles of animal blood to his room when he was hungry. He is reluctant to be in an awkward position by being at the same dining table as Egbert and his small family.
So far the behavior, really like a foreign guest who just stay at home. Nor did he do anything suspicious.
Annette thought it was weird. She thought the vampire woman was going to go quietly seduce her husband behind her. But that didn't happen. He who does not want to worry, does not want to think too much about it.
Unbeknownst to Annette. Emma quietly began to pay attention to their daily lives. He never found a warm interaction between Egbert and his son. Two people are like a magnetic field that is simultaneously polar, repelling each other's presence.
The most surprising thing, it was Annette who apparently did not sleep in the room with Egbert. The information, finally has solidified his heart to act tonight.
Emma sat in front of the dresser, combing her black hair. His smiling face, staring at his reflection in the mirror, was full of something as he said, "Egbert, let's reminisce with me tonight"
In the middle of the night, exactly twelve o'clock at night. The castle became so quiet. Annette had long gone to sleep in her room and so was Aldrich who had now gotten used to sleeping in his own room.
Emma came out of her room and skidded up the stairs, leading to Egbert's room on the second floor. That night she wore a transparent red nightgown made of fairly thin fabric fibers. His entire body was already in the tempting rose perfume spray. Her full lips were already polished a bewitching dark red lisptic.
Entering into Egbert's room, he retraced step by step very slowly to avoid the sound of even a little stuff. He knew how sensitive Egbert was in his sleep when he heard a voice.
Shamelessly, Emma crawled up onto Egbert's big bed. Things he used to do and after a long time, he was finally able to do it again.
Sensing the small movements on his bed, Egbert frowned and immediately woke up from his sleep. It does not immediately open the eyes, only install care. The moment when a soft body came crimping his chest. That instant the sharp scent of a rose, pierced the cavity of his nose. His body froze.
"My prince..."
