Since Annette began to officially live in the red moon palace. Egbert deployed some workers to create a kitchen at the back of the palace which happened to be just an unused empty place. Some waiters were attracted to focus on learning how to process human cuisine. Egbert also shopped many groceries from the human world and stamped her in the palace.

In those days, everyone in the palace looked very busy taking care of many things. Especially in the next three days, there will be a big party. Where Egbert would formally introduce Annette as his wife to the rest of Merland.

Annette sits lethargic every day sofa in the master room. His face was bent and occasionally drooped weakly on the arm of the sofa. "We've just changed your wife's food, but it looks like it's completely untouched"

For the past few days, Annette has never eaten regularly. Thanks to that Annette has lost a lot of weight. Egbert of course understood what the cause was. That's because Annette still can't let Aldrich live in the magic boarding school Negri Merland.

Egbert went to tidy up a little of his desk and then left the room filled with the scent of old paper and wood. Egbert hurried off to the main room. There Egbert saw Annette sitting on the sofa with her drooping head falling on the arm of the sofa. Egbert could see the pretty face was sticky and puffy. It just seems to be raining there.

Looking beside the sofa, Egbert saw a food carriage. On it has been presented simple scrambled eggs with long bean vegetable stir-fry. It seemed that the servants had been working hard to prepare the food.

"Is the food bad?" Egbert picked up a plate of scrambled eggs and went to sit on the sofa right next to Annette.

"No idea, I haven't tasted it yet" Annette's voice sounded lethargic. He did not even look towards Egbert who had just come.

"Then you have to taste it. If this isn't good, I'll have them study even harder to make good food for you" Egbert was ready to take a spoonful of scrambled eggs and thrust them into Annette's mouth.

But the thin little mouth, not even open to welcome the bribe. Egbert let out a heavy sigh.

From the side like this, Egbert could see how Annette's thin cheeks had become increasingly thin and Egbert was unhappy with the fact.

"I know you miss our son. But this just took a week. If a month, two months and even three months you're torturing yourself like this all the time, it's not impossible that your thin body is left with just bones"

Annette was pensive, but still had a moment of amazement at how Egbert could say so many words just to seduce her to eat.

"You've been pretty chatty lately.."

Egbert bit his lower lip, "You made me that way"

"I'm not really hungry, please don't force me"

Egbert bribed a spoonful of scrambled eggs into his mouth and his left hand grabbed the back of Annette's head. Egbert moved forward and herded Annette to get closer to him.

"Egbert" Annette groaned furiously. His mouth slightly moved to chew the eggs that were already in his mouth.

That's not bad, just a little bland.

"How does it feel?" Egbert removed the remaining eggs at the corner of his lips.

"I told you I'm not hungry. Why are you forcing me so much?"

Egbert stretched out her hand, stroking Annette's cheek gently, "Please don't get angry.."

Annette didn't know where Egbert learned it from. But her gentle caress and delicate pleading tone from her voice, it made Annette's anger just disappear.

"Look how prominent your cheekbones are now.."

"If Aldrich saw your condition like this, he would definitely rampage at me" Saying that, Egbert's eyes smiled so subtly at Annette.

Egbert nodded, "Promise"

Annette's lips widened with a happy smile. The party that Egbert was referring to will be held in three days. That means as soon as the party is over, he can see his son.

"What if you break your promise?"

Annette wanted what Egbert said, not just a sweet promise to persuade her to eat.

Egbert cleared his throat, "That's it.."

"You can bite my lips as hard as you want as a punishment for my transgressions"

Annette's lips twitched, out of words. His eyes glared sharply at Egbert— complaining of how shameless his man was.

Egbert was helpless, pressing down on his stomach and chuckling.

"All right, now let's eat, um?"

Annette threw a face.

"If you continue to be stubborn like this, I'm likely to change my mind—"

"I ate" Quickly Annete snatched the plate from Egbert's hand. He took a few large mouthfuls into his mouth and complained, "It's tasteless"

Egbert smiled. Gently rubbed his head, "I'll tell them to study even harder"

Annette nodded slowly and continued eating.
