Vampire'S Secret Baby

Vampire'S Secret Baby
|18|. Why Hold Your Stomach?

About ten minutes passed, Annette had told Laura the chronology of her abduction briefly. Making Laura muttered, as if it was difficult to digest the truth of the story.

"So the point is, you were kidnapped by a vampire and forced to be his bride to conceive and bear a child?"

"Em" Annette nodded. He knew the story sounded absurd. After all who would easily believe the existence of such a mythological creature?

"You're not making up, are you?" Laura asked, her gaze clearly distrusting what Annette had just said, "I mean, maybe you have Stockholm syndrome, so that makes you make up this absurd story to hide the identity of your kidnapper?"

Annette smiled faintly hearing that and shook her head, "I didn't make up anything. Here's the proof if sister doesn't believe me" Annette extended her right hand to Laura. He showed a scar on his wrist that was still there clearly printed the bite marks of Egbert's fangs.

Laura hurriedly held onto Annette's wrist and felt two bluish black dots there. At first glance he could see that the wound was quite deep.

"When he bit me so savagely, I thought my right wrist would break because of his sharp fangs" Tukas Annette, "I still remember it clearly, I still remember, how much blood was pouring out and he sucked it up like it was my favorite glass of strawberry juice"

"..." - ".Laura looked at Annette without any words spoken.

"He really enjoyed drinking my blood" Annette said. Picking up her already cold cup of coffee, Annette took a sip back a little.

"As you said that night, the most likely reason for a dead body with a bite to the neck was a vampire" Annette put her coffee cup on the table, "Well, it turns out they really do exist"

Although it was still hard to believe what she had just heard, Laura was interested in asking another question, "But if she is not a human being, why isn't she married to a woman of her own kind? Wouldn't marrying a human be so troublesome?"

"Let's not know" Annette nodded her shoulders.

"And your neck, it looks like I saw some red rash that has faded a bit, what is it—"

"What's? A rash?" Immediately Annette touched her neck and lowered her gaze. He believes his ex was gone about five days ago. But how is it possible...

"Does he suck your blood every day?"

"No" Annette's bell. His hand pulled the collar of his blouse and raised it. At first he smiled in shame.

"Just a moment" Laura got up from her seat and entered the minimarket. After he took something and paid it to the cashier's desk, he went back out to Annette.

"The effect is quite faint, but little seen if noticed. Next time cover up with this" Laura thrust the item she had just bought into Annette.

"It's.."

"Concealers. I sometimes wear them to disguise my acne scars" Tukas Laura. She knows Annette's knowledge of makeup is a little lacking, "I choose the one that matches your skin color"

"Thank you sister" Annette smiled sincerely from her sparkling eyes.

"Em" Nod Laura, take her cup of coffee as soon as she downs it to the end.

"But are you okay with carrying her child? You're so young and you're a student. Are you sure you can do it?"

Annette momentarily blinked her eyes and sighed heavily, "She gave me no choice. Believe it or not, I've already signed the deal"

"Then what about you?"

"Sister mean?" Annette knitted her pair of eyebrows.

"You will have a new life in your stomach for nine months. Even if it's a baby vampire, but it's also your flesh and blood. Are you sure you'll just hand him over as agreed?"

A few moments later Annette fell silent.

"I know you're a young girl who's just thinking about work, study and life. But everything will be different when you're carrying a baby. Because then your motherly soul will grow and when it does..." Laura looked into Annette's black eyes, "Can you let go of your baby and forget about your identity as a mother?"

......................

At exactly twelve in the night, Annette was back at the castle. Gordon took one of his suitcases out of the trunk. It was some of his necessities, as it would be very troublesome if he always went round and forth to his rooftop house.

"Em" Annette felt a little guilty. Because of driving himself, the middle-aged man had to go home late at night. But when he apologized for that, Gordon generously said, "No matter madam, this is my responsibility as your personal driver"

Annette climbed the steps of the terrace and pressed the bell. Soon the door of the castle opened and one of the men came to pick up his suitcase.

"Have you eaten, madam? If not, I will tell someone to prepare food" said Mary who stood up to welcome her home.

"No need" Reject Annette. He had not eaten anything but his stomach was not hungry at all.

"Well, I'm sorry"

Annette nodded and continued walking towards the hallway to her room. He came in followed by a waiter carrying his suitcase.

"Let's just put it there"

"Good mistress"

Annette walked to the bed and threw her tired body onto the soft object.

"Do I need to prepare warm water for you to soak?" The waiter could see lines of fatigue on Annette's tapered face.

"No need" Rejected Annette, her voice sounded quite soft and her eyes were staring at the ceiling of the room.

"Well then, excuse me madam"

The waiter left the room, Annette heard the sound of the door closing and everything went quiet.

"Haah" Annette let out a heavy sigh as her mind again anchored on Laura's words...

'Can you let go of your baby and forget your identity as a mother?'

"I realized from the beginning this deal was madness"

But after all she was just a fragile little girl, who was so daunted when she saw a pair of sharp fangs ready to stick her thin neck. He could not help himself from the sadistic threat.

Annette involuntarily felt her stomach still flat. He could faintly feel fear rustling in each of his blood cells, imagining the seed of a vampire growing there.

At that time Annette was so dissolved, that she was unconscious with the sound of the door opening and Egbert walking inside.

"Why are you holding your stomach?"

A cold voice that was quite minimal touch of emotion was falling in the quiet space. As Annette regained her senses and her hands continued to lift from her stomach, "It's nothing"

"If you're hungry just say it, I'll have the waiter prepare dinner for you" Egbert said, now sitting on the edge of the bed.

"I'm not hungry" Annette said.

"It's up to you to be hungry or not. Most importantly you have enough energy to make love to me tonight"

Perhaps at first both sides of Annette's cheeks would be flushed every time the word 'love' came out of Egbert's mouth. But not that night.

His mind was quite chaotic until he was unaware of the hot night he had spent with Egbert. The activity lasted quite a long time, but Egbert did not hear Annette's usual complaints or screams.

Though he had bitten a few times, but the girl was only speechless with her blank gaze staring at the ceiling.

Egbert decided to end it immediately because Annette's silence bored him a little. Egbert moved down from the bed, rushed into his nightgown and left Annette's room.
