Sean's?
A very familiar name. Isn't that the name of the most handsome lecturer on his campus first? The lecturer, who five years ago had come to him, said he was the envoy from the campus. Though actually...
He must be a vampire and Egbert's man.
'It looks like my hunch that time wasn't wrong'
Annette got up and told the two servants to take her there. He wondered what was going on. Micah goes to get the drinking utensils and Zeta takes Annette to the living room.
Arriving there, Annette was greeted with the sight of a man filled with overflowing anger tightly blocking the thin neck of a woman who had shed tears of pain. The woman appeared to hit the hand of the man who strangled her several times, telling her to stop. But the man was too blind and exerted his strength quite strongly. Makes the woman keep hitting and crying in helplessness.
Annette probably doesn't like that vampire woman who just sucked her blood. But his humanity, making his conscience move his footsteps to stop Sean's actions.
"Stop!"
The voice of one of the women coming from behind, surprised Sean a little. The voice sounded calm and full of maturity.
"If you don't want to change your profession from lecturer to assassin, then stop doing it"
Sean's hand checks a little loose. He turned around and his eyes flickered in surprise at the figure of the woman who had just spoken. None other than her former protege, "An-nette, how can you—"
Taking advantage of the situation, Emma quickly divorces Sean's hand and saves his neck, "Huk.huk.." He seemed to be coughing pitifully.
"During time did not meet you lecturer Sean" Annette smiled so wide that he reached the bottom of his eyes. But the more noticed, it was not just an ordinary smile. There was a cold trace of hatred covering him. Sean who realized that, coughed lightly, knowing what a great sin he had committed to Annette.
"S-I didn't expect to see you here" Sean's anger moments ago instantly vanished. Replaced to his obvious nervous carrier on the surface.
Annette's eyes narrowed in a mocking smile hearing Sean being so formal with her, "Why can't you guess her? Aren't you the one who brought me here to lecturer Sean?"
"Huh. haha" Sean involuntarily laughed. It fell so crisp. Making the servants and Mary who were still watching, stumble on the spot. They wonder, what happened to Sean? Just a moment ago it was so angry that it almost killed someone and was now laughing foolishly in front of their mistress?
Annette looked at Emma. In addition to his resentment, he also felt sorry for the poor vampire, "Mikha, Zeta"
"Yes" Micah and Zeta quickly approached Annette.
Annette first glanced at Zeta, giving her an order, "You go take care of the woman"
"Good mistress"
Then Annette turned to Micah, "And you went to check in the hotel for that woman. Cost business, you can ask Mary's butler"
"Good mistress"
Annette raised her gaze towards Emma, "That's the remaining conscience I can give you. If you still don't know how to say thank you, get the hell out of here and be a bum out there"
"You—"
"So you chose to be a bum?"
Emma was bluffing her teeth. Swallowed all his frustration.
Annette smiled wryly in satisfaction, "If not, behave well" Noting Emma who was like her had softened and was so obedient, Annette turned to Zeta, sending her a signal to hurry. Zeta nodded and immediately took Emma away from there.
Sean watched the scene with eyes flashing in astonishment. She doesn't know what Annette is like. As she recalled, Annette was just a naive, delicate and introverted human girl. That's why she chose Annette as Egbert's wife. It would be easier to persuade and manipulate him. But who would have thought, five years passed and Annette had made a big change.
Indeed suffering educates a person's person to become stronger.
Annette looked at Sean. Annette could feel the man's gaze showing admiration towards her. Annette took a few steps forward, standing right in front of Sean. Their eyes met in silence. For a while, Sean could feel the ice-cold sparks from Annette's eyes staring fixedly at him. Before Sean woke up from his wits, he found the soft hand coming forward to grab his neck collar.
"So, you've been his accomplice?"
Sean became nervous and the waiter couldn't bear to scream at Annette's bold, bewitching attitude.
"Five years ago, you arranged for me to be Egbert's wife and that got me caught up in all this suffering?" Annette's eyes sharpened, her hands pulling Sean's collar harder. Makes Sean gasp and inevitably fall bent down.
Sean's eyes widened as he faced Annette's pretty face. That's pretty close. Sean could see how smooth the face was, the pores were so small invisible and the white skin was so clear.
Egbert sent a message to Mary, to open the door to Annette's room which was locked from the outside. He had stayed for so long inside there, feeling unable to not see the huge commotion of what was going on outside. But never expected, when Egbert stepped into the middle chamber. There was no commotion that greeted his sense of hearing.
Egbert only looked at the rows of servants lined up, watching on an object with great interest. Curious, Egbert followed where they were looking. It was then that Egbert grasped what object was so interested in them.
Egbert saw Sean bowing so close to Annette's pretty face and they exchanged glances in an ambiguous silence. Annette's delicate hand seemed to grab onto Sean's collar. In Egbert's point of view, the gestures Annette gave off were like little beauties who were charming good looks under her power.
Egbert felt a wave of displeasure hit his chest. His face darkened, Mary could see it clearly. Mary realized more than anyone, the attitude of two people in front of her can indeed trigger anyone's suspicion.
"You don't misunderstand me. Madam just came scolding master Sean. Madam already knew that Mr. Sean was your accomplice" Mary heard that before she left to open the door to Annette's room that was locked from the outside. Mary had no idea what had happened until her master was there and the mistress locked her away from the outside.
A hint of cold light lightning, crossed his eyes. Although the explanation eased her bad emotions a little, Egbert remained irritated at how Annette moved so intimately towards Sean.
