Just when Sean's course ended, he immediately left the room. Coming out of the door, Sean was astonished not to hear the screams of human girls that usually occur every few steps he walked out of class.
Sean had no idea, if at that time the students who were fanatical fans, they had shrouded the table where Annette was sitting. This makes Lucy who is preparing to come out, even trapped with Annette there.
"Tell us, do you have a special relationship with Sean?"
Annette breathed heavily into the question. Because he is a person who does not like to look for commotion with children on campus, he immediately gave them plausible information so that they do not misunderstand.
"I've been absent from class several times. Maybe he's looking at me for asking me about my absence"
"Aah, so you're attracting his attention this way hum? Just disappeared without any news and re-emerged to get his attention?"
Annette stared pushyly at the long-brown curly-haired girl who had just spoken. He would not have thought the evidence he gave would even develop such a perverse.
"I've said what I think and I think so. But if you're really curious about that, just ask Sean directly. Don't misunderstand me like this"
After saying that, Annette got up from her seat. His hard life had shaped him into a strong character that was not easily suppressed. Splitting the crowd with both hands, he did not hesitate to walk away just past them.
Lucy who saw it smiled in awe, tidying up the position of her glasses immediately she chased after Annette.
"It turns out I was worried about unnecessary things" Lucy said as the two of them walked together in the hallway of the campus.
"I don't have time to take care of them. There are many things waiting for me to do" Annette smiled knotfully.
Lucy nodded steadily to Annette's positive attitude, "We have some work to do this week, I'll send you the full note by email"
"Eum, thank you Lucy. Next time I'll treat you to a meal" Annette warmly embraced the little girl.
"Ah you don't have to do it. Just save your money. After all, it's commonplace as friends help each other" Lucy said, her voice sounding quite sincere.
It made Annette smile meaningfully. He may not have many friends and a wide social circle. But having one item two very good people and so paying attention to it, he felt it was more than enough.
When her day of college ended, Annette rushed back to her rooftop house. He was busy cleaning everything from sweeping, mopping, washing dishes to clothes.
After all the activities were over, Annette went to charge her phone. Then he put his body on the bed and decided to sleep for half an hour.
Because at night, he had to return to work at the minimarket.
......................
"There's still no word on Annette?" Ask the manager who came to check into the minimarket that night.
Laura who was arranging some items on the shelf, turned to the middle-aged man and greeted politely before replying, "No sir yet. I've been to the police station reporting Annette's disappearance. But until now there has been no news" Laura lowered her head weakly considering the last night of her meeting with Annette.
That night it was clear he had forbidden her to go home on foot, but the young girl still chose iron and risked her life. Where until tonight is unclear.
"Then maybe I should recruit a new employee"
"What sir?"
"I can't wait for him in this kind of obscurity. Minimarket will not operate properly if there is a shortage of employees" At first glance the manager turned to the empty cashier table. The other two employees were busy arranging other items and equipment.
"I understand sir, but what if Annette comes back?"
"I'll meme—"
"Please don't fire me sir" Annette ran into the minimarket with a breath of air.
Laura was quite surprised to see Annette's unexpected arrival, her eyes constantly glazed over, "Annette, where have you been all week? I'm on the phone but out of range. I sent you a message but no reply. Do you know how much I'm worried about you, Hum?"
"Yes sir"
"Follow me out"
"Good sir"
Annette sends Laura a signal that she will tell her about it later. Then he immediately stepped out of the minimarket and went to the place where the manager stood.
"Where have you been all this time? You didn't take any leave at all but disappeared a whole week just like that"
Annette found it difficult to explain her condition. Should she say she just got kidnapped?"
"I originally wanted to change your position, but Laura kept urging me that she could take your place until you came back"
Annette who heard that felt very touched. He wouldn't have expected Laura to arrive like that for the sake of keeping a part-time job.
"But still the performance becomes inefficient. That's why I intend to fire you if you don't bring yourself up tonight"
"I'm sorry sir" Annette bowed guiltily.
"Come in!"
Annette's eyes continued to widen in shock upon hearing that. He thought tonight he would lose his precious job.
"For a week of your absence, instead of firing you, I'll cut your pay" instead"
"Thank you so much sir" Annette once again bowed in gratitude.
The manager just nodded and then left the minimarket area.
Laura went to brew two cups of instant black coffee and had Annette chat at an outdoor table that was quiet tonight by the young people who used to hang out there.
"Tell me, where have you been all week?" Laura put the coffee cup that was still puffing the steam to Annette.
Annette smiled wryly with grateful eyes. Then he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, "I was kidnapped and sealed within the castle which was located a little close to the forest"
"Huk.huk" Annette's statement immediately made Laura choke.
Unlike Lucy where Annette was only a short distance away when they were on campus, but with Laura, the woman was already like a sister to her. So Annette didn't hesitate to tell Laura everything.
"I should have heard my sister's advice that night" Annette smiled bitterly, lifting the cup of coffee into her mouth, sipping it softly.
Laura nodded helplessly. Then he gently held the back of Annette's hand, "Then how did you get out of there? They set you free? Or did you run away?"
Annette put the new cup of coffee on the table.
"Not both"
"What?" Laura was surprised. If it wasn't for being released or running away, then how would Annette get out of there?
"I was only allowed to go out for a while and had to return to that castle just before twelve p.m"
Laura was clenched and her eyes were flashing in confusion. He still did not understand because Annette did not tell the full chronology.
"Sister Laura, I'm married" Annette raised her hand and showed her a white gold ring wrapped around her innocent ring finger.
"Whataa?" This time a pair of Laura eyeballs were about to jump out.
