All activities in the castle were over by eleven o'clock at night. The servants had gone to bed as well as Mary who no longer continued to record monthly budget details in the expenditure notebook.

Robert had long gone to rest because tomorrow he had to return to Merland. Annette either fainted or fell asleep, which she was clearly completely unconscious with her hands tied to the bedposts.

Putting her head as comfortable as possible on a pillow, she tilted her head to the side, facing the haggard face of Annette who still looks beautiful in a room that only in the moonlight from outside.

Egbert pulled out the blanket, covering her body and Annette's thin body. Closing his eyes, he slept with the human girl who was his wife.

Annette did not make a sound anymore, just moaned and decided to go to sleep because of her entire body...

It really feels weak.
