By late afternoon, there was something shocking happening in Annette's room. It was none other than the commotion of the two servants with Aldrich who had just woken up from sleep. He was upset half to death to see two grown girls come inside and tell him it was time to go take a bath.
Worst part, the two men came straight to bathe her. Aldrich was clearly strongly opposed to that ridiculous thing.
"Go" Aldrich yelled at the two maids in a very loud voice.
Micah and Zeta stroked each other's breasts, feeling grateful that their hearts were still in place.
"Young master, please don't make things difficult for us. Let's go take a shower, yeah.." Zeta took a step forward, her hands hesitantly pulling the one boy closer.
But the sharp gaze of the boy who seemed to be trying to swallow him alive, made Zeta's hand restrained in the air and shook.
"I'm not your young master. Get out of here" he shouted. Ready to throw his index finger towards the door, telling the two men to leave immediately.
Micah and Zeta exchanged glances. They were completely overwhelmed by persuading Aldrich to want them to bathe. What was most frustrating to them, it was Aldrich's explosive attitude that was very difficult to handle.
"You are the son of Miss Annette, from now on you are the young master of this house. So in the future, we will be in charge of serving the young master" Micah tried to explain patiently. The boy's attitude was fierce and unfriendly, quite beyond his expectations. Though he had just been so happy to get the task of taking care of an adorable handsome boy.
But not to mention, his temperament rivaled that of a ferocious wolf. It was ferocious and merciless.
"I don't need you serving me. I can take care of myself. There out!"
"But young master, we're here to serve you.." Zeta this time actually landed her hand on Aldrich's small shoulder while suppressing all her anxiety.
Aldrich's dark gaze saw the servant's hand land on his shoulder. He opened his mouth without hesitation to give a bite...
"Aakhh" Zeta howled in pain, trying hard to pull her hand. But the boy bit his hand so hard, it scared him that if it forced him to pull it, it would break his hand.
Micah was panicking. In the pain and hoarseness of crying Zeta screamed, "Hurry up and call Miss Annette.."
"Good"
In the garden, Annette sat down while enjoying a cup of warm jasmine tea with the soothing scent of jasmine flowers. Breeze blows, carrying the scent of daisies that bloom beautifully. It was mixed with the trace scent of the leaves of the omantus trees that swayed in peace. Annette took a deep breath as she closed her eyes, feeling so indulgent.
"Mrs.."
"Huh.."
"Huh.."
Annette frowned and opened her eyes slowly. A pair of his eyebrows clinging to the sight of Micah who came running were now bowing with bawling breaths.
"What's wrong with you?"
"Madam, it's young master.hah.."
"Young master?"
"Yes, the young master bit the hand of Zeta's servant and refused to let go. That's why I came to take you there"
Annette finally understood who the young master they meant. It was none other than his little son Aldrich. It seemed that the servants had already learned that his son was none other than Egbert's son, their master.
Annette placed the half-remaining teacup on the table and got up from her seat, "Take me off to take a look"
"Good mistress"
Once in her room, Annette saw with her own eyes the chaos that was there. He saw the pained face of Zeta that had paled on the spot and Aldrich who still had not stopped biting his already bleeding hand.
"Stop Aldrich!"
Hearing his mother's loud voice, Aldrich stopped biting. He rubbed his mouth that was covered in blood. The servant's blood was not as good as his mother's.
Zeta breathed a sigh of relief and staggered to Micah. Annette who saw that, gave him a concerned look, "Hurry and help Zeta wrap her wound and don't forget to give her a glass of sugar water"
"Good mistress" Micah nodded and brought the frail Zeta out of Annette's room.
"Aldrich, what are you doing?" Annette ruffled her waist, putting on a stern look, "You bite like a cat. Did mommy raise you as a stray cat?"
"They came to try to bathe me. I refused but they insisted. So don't blame me for being tough"
Annette nodded her temple dizzy, "But still you can't bite. After all they come just to run errands, if you are not happy with it just decline politely"
"I told them to go, but they still want to do it. Who's wrong here?" Aldrich really doesn't want to be blamed.
Annette sighed heavily, "Well, mama understands. It's their fault. But promise mama, next time you can't just bite again, promise?"
Aldrich resentfully threw his face in any direction.
Annette knew, typical like her son could not be hardened at all. He decided to persuade her patiently, "Darling that what you're doing is not right. If you're biting like that, how is it different from the stray cats out there?"
"Mama liken me to a stray cat?"
Annette laughed lightly at her son's displeased expression.
"If you don't want your mom to be with a stray cat, don't bite again in the future, okay?"
"Em" Aldrich hummed lazily.
Annette smiled with relief at her son who finally listened to her words.
"Ma, when do we get back home?"
Annette bit her lower lip, thinking. He could not say so directly that they would stay longer there. So then...
"Darling.." Annette crouched down in front of her son, "For so long, my mom finally got a chance to take revenge on that goddamn vampire. So, can we stay here longer?"
"Mama wants revenge on that fucking vampire?"
"really"
"So that's why you want us to stay here a little longer?"
"It exactly is"
Aldrich fell silent in his mind before nodding in agreement, "Good. Then we'll stay a little longer here"
Annette widened her smile, "Dear mom is the best"
"But on condition!"
"Condition?"
"On condition that you don't fall in love with that damn thing!"
"Gts.."
Annette couldn't hold back her laughter. Aldrich was so funny when referring to Egbert with 'the shit'. Doesn't he know that the fuck he's talking about is he's his own real father?
"Ma, I'm serious"
Annette stopped laughing and nodded, "You just calm down. Mama won't fall in the same abyss again"
Aldrich had a little trouble believing his mother's words. Because he knew clearly, how his mother's soft heart as silk worked. It's always so easy to fall and fall..
"It's better so"
Yes, his mother should not fall in love with Egbert.
If that happened, he would not hesitate to kill the damn vampire who had inflicted deep wounds on his mother who was as weak as a lotus stalk.
