Albern and Lily
Urge to Get Married

Albern entered the Brylee family's main house, greeted with respect by the servants there. The house is the residence of Mrs Ginna, the Grand Lady of the Brylee family who is also Albern's favorite grandmother.

Ginna's health declined dramatically. Since Calson died, Ginna has also become sicker and spends more time in bed. Perhaps the great loss to her late husband made Ginna slowly lose her spirit.

Aaron and Zaya have often invited Ginna to live with them, but Ginna continues to refuse. The woman who has now grown older does not want to leave the Brylee family's main house. A house full of memories where she spent time with her husband all this time. And the house is also the legacy of his father and mother-in-law, Aaron's grandfather and grandmother.

Never mind staying with Zaya and Aaron, even when the child and daughter-in-law visited, Ginna often expelled both for refusing to be treated like sick people. Ginna always tells everyone she's okay. He seemed to enjoy his solitude in the big house with the servants, as if he was remembering the story of his life so far without being disturbed by others.

And now, Ginna sat in a recliner while enjoying the beauty of babybearth flowers placed by her servant in a vase. His sight looks sad. I don't know what's on that old woman's mind right now.

"Grandmas." Albern's voice broke Ginna's daydream. At once Ginna's face turned even more sparkling when she saw Albern, her favorite grandson.

"Albern..." Ginna wanted to get up from her seat, but was immediately restrained by her grandson.

"Just sit. Doctors forbid Grandma to stand too often, Grandma's legs will hurt again." Albern said as he led Ginna to sit down again.

After finishing the rest of Ginna's seat, Albern sat down next to her grandmother, and watched Ginna closely.

"Grandma looks weaker than the last one I saw. Better move to Mama and Papa's house." Albern later said.

Ginna was seen throwing her face the other way.

"Omong empty. I'm fine." His grunts were stubborn.

Albern sighed while still staring fixedly at his grandmother. The woman who has been taking care of him since the baby. Albern spent more time with her grandmother than she did with Zaya, her own mother. And now, this beloved Grandma had grown older. But even so, his persistence seemed to be inedible by age. No one could force her if she had said nothing would. Madame Ginna remained a formidable figure despite her body having weakened even more.

"I really feel sad if I have to leave Grandma alone here. It's better that Grandma stay with us. It'll make my heart feel calm." Albern again, trying to persuade Ginna to come with him. But not Lady Ginna her name if she is easily persuaded.

"If you really care about your Grandma, then get married. Find a woman who will be with you until you grow old, then give a grandchild to both parents. Remember how old you are now. Do you want to be single like this for the rest of your life?" Reply Ginna.

Once again Albern sighed. Recent discussions with Ginna have always ended with the topic of marriage. A very lazy topic for Albern to discuss.

"Why are you just breathing that way? You're so grown up, it's time to get married. Even if in my old days, you're already in the old virgin category." Ginna again.

This time Albern turned his head towards his Grandma somewhat inadmissibly.

"I'm a mature, single man, not an old man." Errat Albern.

Ginna looked back at Albern with a slight smile. A smile that was rarely seen on his serious face.

"Do you know, something that's overripe tends to go in a rotten direction. And I think you belong to something too mature."

Albern wanted to answer, but soon abandoned his intentions. He can win arguments with anyone in the world, but not with Mrs Ginna. This grandmother seemed to have held all the keys over her so that it always managed to make her become uncomplicated.

"Are you waiting, Albern?" Ask Ginna then in a more serious tone.

"Do you want to wait for Zivanna to get married first?" Ask Ginna again.

"Or are you waiting for a girl pregnant with your child you were just getting married, like your Papa?"

Albern let out a long sigh, then rolled his eyeballs in a puff.

"Come, Grandma. Isn't he Grandma's own favorite son? How can Grandma mock him in front of others?" Albern said as if it had nothing to do with the person he was talking about.

"He is my son, and you are his son. I don't want the bad things he's done to repeat to you, either. Marry properly, don't marry just because a girl is already pregnant." Omel Ginna looking at Albern.

"Of course I wouldn't do something like that. Grandma don't have to worry." Albern calms.

Ginna was silent for a moment, then looked back at Albern again.

"I really want to see you get married, Albern. That's my biggest dream right now. I wish you could make that dream come true before I die." Ginna murmured then with a somewhat laughable look.

Albern clucked as he clasped Ginna's hands tightly together. It seemed very clear if he was afraid when he heard Ginna's words earlier.

"Grandma won't be dead anytime soon. Grandma would live another thousand years, witnessing whatever Grandma wanted to see. I'm so sure." Albern said with a smile. He seemed to want to console himself for not being ready to lose Ginna.

Ginna smiled.

"You think I'm a vampire?" Ask.

"I'm old, Albern. Soon I will definitely catch up with your Grandpa as well. But I won't be at ease if I have to leave my beloved granddaughter before she gets an escort."

"Grandma, I beg you..." Albern seemed to be begging Ginna not to continue to say about his death.

"No, Albrern. Your grandma is the one who should beg. I beg of you not to just be busy with the company and make time for personal matters as well. Look for a life partner who can be invited to share in everything. You need that."

Albern remained silent for a while.

"I'm definitely getting married, Grandma. But the girl I'm about to marry won't accept my proposal now. He still had to do a lot to mature himself."

Ginna slightly knitted her brows.

"Is she a newborn today?" Ask Ginna.

Sontak Albern laughed.

"Of course not. But he's still very young. I have to wait for him a little more. I can't take his heart completely anyway. But I promised Grandma that I wouldn't spend the rest of my life alone. There is someone I am looking forward to sharing with. And Grandma must promise to stay healthy until that time comes."
