A Statement of Love?

Albern sighed deeply, trying to neutralize the feeling raging within him. There was something she wanted to tell Lily, but she did not know what kind of words were right for her to say. A deep feeling he had been silent for so long, which he himself did not know how to describe.

Lily was still looking at Albern with a face full of question marks. But even so, it seemed that the girl held back and chose not to ask. He probably felt a little scared after seeing Albern's anger earlier.

"It's almost lunch time. You want to eat?" Ask Albern suddenly.

"Eh?" Lily looked back at Albern half in disbelief. He looked at Albern's face carefully, as if unsure if the words had just been spoken by the man.

"Eat at a seafood restaurant, how?" ask Albern again.

Lily looked surprised. There was a wind whether the move until Albern suddenly invited him to go to eat, to his favorite dining place as well.

"Sir Al .. isn't it usually busy?" ask Lily then somewhat carefully. If that was usually the case, Lily might have gotten so attached and teased Albern when this guy took her out for a quick meal like this. But at the moment the situation is a bit different. Albern was just about to hit someone, so Lily did not dare to taunt him.

"I'm not busy" replied Albern.

If only Albern had known that Dhani was receiving a call from Albern's secretary to remind him of Albern's meeting with clients.

Lily looked at Albern with a look that was still not very trusting.

"I want to talk to you about something." Said Albern again.

"Talking about something?" Lily repeated Albern's words.

"Yes." Yeah."

"What?" Lily looks curious.

Albern was silent for a moment.

"Later to talk about it, after we eat." Answer then.

"Oh, okay." Lily finally chose to nod in agreement despite the many questions she desperately wanted to ask.

The two people were finally both speechless with their own thoughts. If Lily wonders why Albern suddenly behaved like never before, Albern actually thought hard to find the right words to express his feelings to Lily.

At first glance Albern glanced at Lily who seemed to be staring straight ahead. Once again Albern sighed. I don't know what words he should say later. It felt like he was still not ready to express the feelings he had harbored all this time. But she also doesn't want Lily to belong to someone else if she doesn't express her feelings.

Albern himself could not even remember when exactly he started harboring those feelings. Clearly, ever since she understood the feeling of love towards the opposite sex, Lily's name was already engraved in her heart. And even though many years had passed, the name was still indelible from Albern's heart. Lily's the only one Albern wants, not another woman.

After traveling for a few minutes, they finally stopped at a seafood restaurant.

Albern took Lily in and sat down at one of the tables. Then she also ordered some kind of food, and all of them were Lily's favorite dishes.

With her heart increasingly filled with question marks, Lily ate the food available in front of her. He tried to ignore the fact that since a few minutes ago there was a class that he had to attend. This rare moment was too precious to miss, until Lily chose to occasionally ditch in one of her college eyes.

They eat without talking. Albern ate quietly and elegantly, a habit he had always practiced since childhood. And after they had finished eating, then Albern seemed to be arranging words to start the conversation.

"Lily, did you like the young man who expressed his feelings for you earlier?" Albern asked after being silent for a long time.

"Huh?" Lily looked rather surprised at the question.

"Young man, had your father not forbade you from dating, would you have accepted him as your girlfriend?" Ask Albern again.

Lily looked at Albern with a slight knitting of her two eyebrows. There's something unusual about Albern today. This guy is acting a little weird.

"Why did Al ask that?" Lily asked back.

Lily was silent for a moment. Seeing the look on Albern's face that looked so serious, he was intrigued to slightly prank the man.

"If Papa had not prevented me from dating, I would have accepted Rama. She's pretty sweet." Lily replied casually.

Suddenly Albern bought his eyes to hear Lily's answer.

"And it seems like not only Rama, I will also accept the young man who expressed love to me before. What is his name...Jeremy or Jerry...?" Lily seemed to remember.

"Ah, yes, Jerry. She looks sweet too. Too bad I had to turn him down." Said Lily again with her symbol.

Albern looked stunned with a slightly panicked face.

"You ... really think like that?" Asked Albern in a choked voice.

"Of course, Brother Al. Too bad a girl as beautiful and as cute as I was wasted and had to become an immortal singles. I should've had at least three girlfriends." Lily said again with ease.

Albern who was sipping his drink almost choked. He was surprised to hear Lily's words earlier so Lily had to fight half to death so as not to laugh.

"Where can it be like that, Lily." Sergey Albern with a serious tone.

"Why? The boyfriend is okay a lot, Al, as long as the husband remains one. We need to compare some good ones to choose the best." Lily said again with a sinless face. Actually he did not seriously say that, just was joking.

Albern looked flabbergasted with somewhat holding his breath.

"Of course it's not like that. Girls who have a lot of girlfriends will be looked upon badly by people." Albern tried to keep talking calmly. "It would be much better to just get married, no need to date."

"No problem. I happen to be the type of person who doesn't really care about other people's views. What matters is that I feel comfortable living it."

Albern seemed to throw his gaze in the other direction while slightly tightening his grip on the glass he was holding.

"But by the way, why did Kak Al ask about this kind of personal matter? Didn't you like to talk about something that is privacy?" Ask Lily then. His face looked more serious than before.

Albern turned to Lily, then looked at the girl with a look that seemed to drown.

"Lilly..." Call Albern then in a tone Lily had never heard before.

Lily gasped. Albern's eyes suddenly made him lose all his strength. Lily seemed to lose all her words to be unable to say a word. He froze with his mouth tightly clenched.

"From now on don't even think about dating anyone again. You can't have one boyfriend, let alone three." Albern said firmly and did not want to be denied.

Lily was still silent and did not know what to respond to. Suddenly Lily's eyes widened as Albern's outstretched hand touched her soft cheek.

"Never dream of another man, Lily. You're not allowed to do that. If there's a man in your heart, that man has to be me. You can't let another man into your heart but me."

Lily was freezing with her eyes widening. What kind of magical words Albern was saying to her right now, Lily really did not understand it. But then Lily gasped with perfectly rounded eyes.

What Albern said earlier, is it a statement of love?
