Like Mother Like Daughter's

Just as the cookies Zaya and Lily made were ripe, Aaron arrived home. Aaron always comes home early and spends more time with his wife. The responsibility of the company was mostly given to Albern, so he was much more relaxed than before.

After changing his clothes for a more casual one, the middle-aged man walked over to Zaya who was preparing herbal tea for him.

"Good afternoon, Uncle Aaron." Say hello to Lily when she saw that Papa Albern was approaching.

"Good afternoon, Lily. Want to meet Zi?" Aaron asked in response.

Lily nodded while smiling politely. Although Aaron is a friend of his mother, Lily has always been polite and formal to the middle-aged man.

Aaron sat in the living room. Shortly thereafter, Zaya served her husband herbal tea.

"Lily, please bring the cookies that you've put on the plate here." Pinta Zaya on Lily.

Lily lulled her smile when she heard Zaya call herself Mama.

"Okay, Ma." Lily answered excitedly. The girl then brought the cookies that Zaya had just brought.

'Brother Al, Brother Zi, don't be angry. Your own mother asked me to call her Mama.'

"Please, Uncle. It sure tastes better than the usual cookies, because this one has a touch of Lily's hand as well." Said Lily while putting the snack in front of Aaron.

Lily smiled sweetly, making Aaron a little stunned because he remembered something in the past.

"Alright, Uncle try." Aaron finally said. He took one cookie in front of him, then tried it.

Aaron nodded his head. Whatever food his wife made was always good on his tongue.

"Nob." Aaron Mutters. But of course the compliment was actually aimed at his wife, not Lily.

Simultaneously, Zivanna also arrived home. She was a bit surprised to find Lily in the living room with her parents.

"Lily, what are you doing with my mom and dad?" Zivanna asked with a suspicious tone.

Zaya smiled.

"Lily's been waiting for you, she said she wanted to ask you to help with her college work." Zaya answered Zivanna's question.

Lily got up from her seat.

"Uncle, Mama, since Kak Zi has come home, I went with Kak Zi first, huh. Bye..." Lily said as she approached Zivanna.

Zivanna slightly widened her eyes on Lily.

"You called my mother by Mama's call?" Zivanna asked in a whisper.

Lily smiled while embracing one of Zivanna's arms.

"Yes, Mama-in-law." Tempt Lily with a whisper as well.

Zivanna bought her eyes until Lily laughed.

"Hahaha.joking. Mama Kak Zi herself asked me to call her Mama."

Zivanna pulled Lily into her room as if to pounce on the girl. While Lily was still laughing amusedly at Zivanna's reaction.

"What makes you so happy?" Aaron asked as he looked at Zaya who had been smiling ever since.

"Isn't she sweet?" Instead of answering Aaron's question, Zaya asked back.

"Who? Lily?"

Zaya nodded still with a smile.

"He's not like his father. As a child, Evan is quiet and somewhat shy, while Lily is very cheerful and brave." Said Zaya again.

Aaron was silent for a moment.

"He's exactly like Carissa." Aaron finally said.

"When Carissa's teens are like Lily?" Zaya didn't believe it. In Zaya's memory, Carissa was an elegant and graceful adult female figure, so it didn't look like Lily at all.

"Carissa has changed since becoming a pianist. Maybe it was a demand that he had to meet as a figure idolized by many people. His original attitude as a child until adolescence was the same as Lily now. It's just, it looks like Lily's more persistent than Carissa."

"Every time I saw her attitude towards Albern, I remembered how Carissa always bothered me. It's just, Albern doesn't seem as bothered as I used to be." Added Aaron again.

Zaya slightly knitted her two eyebrows together.

"What do you mean Lily likes Albern, like Carissa used to like you?" Ask Zaya.

Aaron shrugged his shoulders.

"Okay, I don't know. It's just that, every time he interacts with our son, I often feel dejavu. It wasn't much different from when Carissa interacted with me first."

Replacing the stunned Zaya. If you remember, Lily did often tease Albern. But all this time Zaya saw it was only natural. Zaya thought that Lily must have thought of Albern as her own sister.

"And I think I heard him call you mama." Said Aaron again.

"Ah, yes. It was me who asked for it. But he looks happy."

Aaron was silent.

"Had he been only a year or two younger than Albern, I would have been very supportive of him with Albern. But he's very young, even younger than Zivanna." Aaron muttered as if talking to himself.

Zaya looked at her husband.

"What are you talking about? Lily doesn't like Albern. She's a beautiful girl, there must be a lot of her college friends who put their hearts. Maybe she already has a boyfriend." Said Zaya.

Aaron seemed to think.

"Totally so." Said later.

"But..." Suddenly Zaya muttered.

"What if Albern likes Lily?"

Aaron looked back at Zaya.

"I saw that Lily was the only girl whose presence never bothered Albern. Although Lily often teases Albern, our son is never once angry with her. And do you realize, when talking to Lily, Albern often smiles." Said Zaya again.

"Is it possible that Albern secretly likes Lily?" Ask Zaya later.

Aaron was still stunned until a while later.

"It's Albern's personal business, let him handle it himself. Want him to like who he is and who he's in a relationship with, as long as he can account for that, I won't interfere." Aaron finally answered.

Zaya slightly sighed.

"Do you feel that we care too much about her love affairs? In a few days our son has his thirteenth birthday, Honey. And she doesn't have a boyfriend at all."

Aaron breathed in as well.

"Then what should I do? Fooled her? He could leave the house and not come back if I betrothed him to a girl." Grouser Aaron.

"Although not a matchmaker, we should at least give him the urge to get closer to someone."

"And someone you mean is Lily?"

Zaya was silent for a moment.

"What's wrong with Lily? She is beautiful and also sweet. Although he was very young, he was quite independent. I'm sure he won't have any trouble keeping up with Albern." Zaya finally said.

"Don't you just say that maybe she already has a boyfriend?"

"that's possible. Who knows if he doesn't have a girlfriend and he likes Albern."

Aaron did not answer. He was silent with his eyes looking straight ahead. It seems that Aaron is thinking about the possibility of what will happen if the Carissa incarnate girl to actually become the couple Albern.
