Albern and Lily
Couple of the Century

Lily breathed a lot of air, as if she wanted to fill her lungs with oxygen. The girl looked a little nervous as she was about to enter the hall where the party was held.

"No need to worry. There I am" Albern said amusingly.

"Inside must be a lot of important people. I'm nervous" Lily said, still breathing deeply.

"Don't be taken in suspense. Just relax. Let's just say we're just attending a regular event. You just need to be yourself as you normally are" Albern said.

"Sure that I just need to be myself? Why does it feel like I need to keep the image tonight? Otherwise, maybe Kak Al's colleagues will faint knowing what the real wife-to-be of an Albern Brylee looks like."

Albern laughed.

"Your imagination is too high" Albern murmured as he hinted at Lily to begin stepping into the hall.

Lily finally obeyed what Albern wanted. He followed Albern and they were finally ready to enter the hall where the party was.

There was a musical accompaniment heard playing out as the couple entered the party hall. The invited guests also automatically step aside to give way for them. All eyes are on the two of them.

Lily became more nervous. But as much as possible he tried to control himself.

The couple immediately became the center of attention. The handsome and dashing Albern looked so harmonious side by side with Lily who looked so beautiful. Instantly they become party stars as well as conversation material. The two then joined the two Albern's parents who had come first. There was also Carissa who had been talking with Zaya. There were even two of Darrel's parents who were in the conversation. Of course they were present, as both were the right hands of Mama and Papa Albern.

Lily looked around. In one corner of the hall, he could also see the whereabouts of Zivanna and Darrel. Apparently the two of them had also come first and seemed to be talking to each other as usual. Only, if all this time they appeared together as friends, this time the two were present together as a couple like himself and Albern. Although for now only Lily knows that fact.

"Lily, come here, honey." Zaya's voice called out to Lily.

"Yes, Ma .. uh, Aunt." Lily was a little nervous and confused as to what to call Zaya.

Zaya smiled.

"Call Mama alone, as before," he said softly.

Lily looked at Carissa for a moment, as if she wanted to seek approval from her mother. After seeing Carissa give a signal if she doesn't mind, then Lily nodded while approaching Zaya.

"Carissa, I'll take Lily to meet some people first." Zaya told Carissa.

Once again Carissa took a long breath. Given how Evan was angry, Carissa actually felt a little scared. Her husband was a very gentle and caring man. He is also not easily angry, but once angry, the man will emit anger that tends to anger, not just ordinary anger.

Carissa only hopes, Evan's anger later will not hurt Lily.

Suddenly, the host invited Albern to take the podium, to give his speech as President Director of Brylee Group. Everyone applauded as the man stepped onto the podium. Then he started talking using a loudspeaker.

In his speech, Albern announced his company's cooperation with the company owned by Adrian Graham, a large company based in New York, USA. He also expressed his gratitude and special welcome to Mrs Graham who is currently the guest of honor. Albern also thanked his daughter for helping him a lot in New York the other day. And of course the person in question is Briana.

And lastly, Albern announced something that was somewhat beyond people's predictions, namely the announcement if he is now in a relationship with a woman and asks everyone present to pray for him so that he can immediately continue to the marriage.

"Lily, come here." Albern calls Lily from the podium while hinting Lily to get closer to him.

Lily was stunned for a moment. Then he turned his head towards Zaya who was currently standing beside Aaron. Both of Albern's parents nodded, hinting Lily to come to Albern. Lily turned to Carissa. Her mother did the same.

Gathering all her courage, Lily finally stepped closer to Albern.

Albern smiled as he clasped Lily's fingers gently. Then she guided the girl to stand right next to him.

Everyone was stunned to see that sight. Albern Brylee who was only friendly when talking about business, now smiled gently at a girl. They wonder, is it true that the girl who will become Young Madam Brylee next?

"Guests, meet me, this very beautiful girl is my future wife, Lily Bramasta. From now on, I hope you can understand my attitude all along that cannot open your heart to any woman. Because the truth is, my heart's been tied to him for a long time. It's really happy because now we can finally be together. And once again, I ask for prayer to all of you rather we are soon united in the bonds of marriage," Albern said with a happy twinkle.

Lily just froze hearing Albern's words just now. Somehow describe his feelings at this moment. Lily did not doubt Albern's feelings before, but listening to his confession now, it felt like something was different. He felt special for this man. If you do not remember when he was in the middle of the party, Lily must have cried because of it.

After introducing Lily, Albern ended his remarks with applause from everyone. They both came off the podium.

Albern and Lily walked side by side. They looked very happy, also looked very compatible with each other. These two human children show very beautiful visuals, very worthy of being crowned as the couple of the century.
