Refuse to Meet

Lily's day of overseas departure finally arrived. The girl had been packing up since last night and was currently ready to head to the airport. Lily's two best friends were at her house to take her to the airport. But there was nothing less for Lily. Especially if not Albern who did not participate as well as Zivanna and Darrel.

"Sir Al knew you were leaving today, right?" ask Zivanna.

Lily nodded without answering. A few days ago he had already told Albern, but at that time Albern's response was just ordinary. After that, Albern also became difficult to contact because he was busy doing business trips out of town.

"Are you telling Al? What can you not forget?" ask Zivanna doesn't believe it.

Lily did not answer. He just looked down with a sad expression that could not be covered. Of course he will not forget to tell the day of his departure to his lover. It's possible that Albern forgot that Lily was leaving today, although it's unlikely.

"Zi." Darrel nudged Zivanna's arm slightly when he saw Lily's unusual attitude.

Zivanna immediately realized that she had misspoken. She could have said that Lily forgot to tell Albern about the day of her departure. It was clear that it was Albern who was currently acting unconcerned.

"How many hours is your scheduled departure?" ask Zivanna later.

Lily checked her phone screen for a moment to look at the timer.

"About three hours," he said later.

Zivanna let out a breath for a moment. She knew very well that Lily was currently half dead sad and also upset.

"There's still time. You want to see Al?" ask Zivanna again.

Lily lifted her face and looked at Zivanna fixedly. It was obvious that he wanted to meet Albern before he left, but he hesitated.

"I'll ask your mom and dad for permission. We'll be back in time" Zivanna said.

Suddenly Lily's eyes look condensed. He nodded as much as he could to refrain from shedding tears.

"I want to, Brother Zi. I want to meet with Al. But I'm not sure my mom and dad will give me permission" Lily said later.

Zivanna looked at Lily no less sadly. The familiar figure was always cheerful under any circumstances, currently looking so desperate and helpless. Zivanna finally took Lily into her arms.

"Send me. I'll ask your parents for permission." Zivanna comforted Lily while gently rubbing the girl's back.

After a while, Zivanna let go of her embrace, then took Darrel to meet Lily's parents. I don't know what Zivanna told Carissa and Evan. What is clear is that she managed to get Lily to get a brief exit permit to meet Albern who is currently in his office.

"Sir Al came home from his official trip two days ago. I thought he came straight to you, but apparently you didn't even know he was back" Zivanna said as they were on their way.

Lily became a quiet girl. At first he also felt confused by Albern's attitude lately. However, now that he realized one thing, Albern was trying to avoid it.

"Sister Al only told me when he was leaving. After that, she never contacted me again," Lily muttered in a low tone. A girl as feisty as Lily before where ever spoke like such a helpless person.

"It doesn't seem like it's busy, but because Al doesn't want to meet and talk to me" Lily said.

Darrel could not speak anymore because what Lily said was true. The young man was also not a person who could brag, so he could not comfort Lily with sweet words.

"Here you go, it's okay if Brother Al won't see you. We'll meet him together." Zivanna touched the back of Lily's hand and held it warm, as if to give strength to her best friend.

Lily nodded with a smile, or rather tried to smile. Just as Zivanna and Darrel were trying to comfort her, she was also trying to entertain herself. Lily was determined inwardly to be strong and steadfast even though today would definitely be a sad day for her.

Soon, they finally arrived at the courtyard of a building where Albern had his office every day. Darrel chooses to wait in the car with private driver Zivanna, while Zivanna accompanies Lily into the magnificent building.

Since everyone already knew who Zivanna was, it wasn't difficult for the girl to take Lily to the floor where Albern's study room was located. Zivanna even used the director's special elevator which was usually only used by Albern alone.

Arrived in front of Albern's workspace. The team of Albern's secretaries whose desk was in front of the entrance looked surprised at Lily and Zivanna's presence. Revisionos didn't contact them because Zivanna asked. Zivanna deliberately did that out of fear that her sister would return to avoid knowing Lily would be here.

"Miss?" Dhani also looked surprised like her subordinate secretaries. The man got up from his seat and went straight towards Zivanna and Lily. Previously he also signaled to one of his subordinate secretaries to notify the arrival of Zivanna and Lily to their boss.

"Sir Al is there, Assistant Dhani?" ask Zivanna.

"Ah, you are attending a meeting with the board of directors" Dhani replied.

Zivanna squinted her eyes at her brother's personal assistant, then turned to look at the Albern secretaries. Their members were all complete, none of them were absent, which meant that Albern was also definitely in his room. If Albern was really in a meeting, of course there would be someone accompanying him. And the first person who must have been next to Zivanna's sister was none other than Assistant Dhani herself.

"Since when did Kak Al meet unaccompanied by Assistant Dhani?" zivanna asked with an intimidating look.

Dhani's assistant stuttered a little surprised at the question accompanied by a sharp look from her boss' sister, but she quickly neutralized the look on her face again.

"I'm here actually taking the important files left on the table After this, I have to catch up with you again" he later reasoned.

Zivanna seemed to be unable to accept the highly contrived answer.

"Assistant Dhani, since when did you become such a liar?" ask Zivanna sharply.

Of course Assistant Dhani's face immediately wryly heard the question.

Before Assistant Dhani could answer, Lily first approached her.

"What did Kak Al himself ask you to say that if I came?" ask Lily then to Assistant Dhani. The girl's face looks sad until Asiten Dhani can only be silent without knowing what to answer.
