Surprise From Albern

Dinner at the Brylee family mansion this time in a different atmosphere. Zaya feels there is something unusual about her two children. Zivanna occasionally looked at Albern with a probing gaze, and Albern did so to Aaron, his father. While Aaron himself seemed unaffected and put on an innocent face.

"I'm done." Suddenly Albern put down his spoon and fork, then drank a few sips of water.

Zaya knitted her two eyebrows together. Albern took very little food earlier, and he did not eat it. There seemed to be something that bothered this son until he had no appetite for food.

"What's wrong with the food?" Aaron's question led Albern to deny his intention to leave the dining table.

"none. I'm just not feeling well" replied Albern.

"Darling, did something happen in the company?" This time it was Zaya who asked her beloved son.

"The problem lies outside the company." Albern replied while glancing at his Papa.

Zaya increasingly felt that something was wrong between her son and husband, though she did not know what.

"What problems? Tell Mama." Pinta Zaya later.

Albern seemed to let out a sigh, then turned back to look at Aaron.

"Mom just ask Papa. I think Papa knows what the problem is." Albern said casually.

Aaron took a sip of his drinking water, then cleaned his mouth with a tissue. It seemed that he also finished his dinner faster.

"Why do you look so upset, Albern? What has your father done?" Aaron asked still with his sinless face.

Once again Albern turned to his father. This time, a little bit of an eye. That made Zaya even more clueless about what was going on.

"What does Papa mean by asking me to meet Briana outside of business?" Ask Albern later.

Zaya and Zivanna's eyes widened simultaneously. Aaron asked Albern to see a woman? Did they not hear wrong? Isn't Aaron himself the one who has been very opposed to matchmaking for the sons and daughters of the Brylee family, especially if it's for business purposes.

"Why? Did Briana make trouble with you?" Aaron asked back.

That made Albern look even more upset.

"Does Papa mean to match me to Papa's friend's daughter?" Albern was starting to look unhappy.

Zivanna widened her eyes to hear Albern's question. His father secretly intends to match Albern with his friend's daughter? If Lily gets to hear this, Zivanna doesn't know what's going on, given how magical the girl is.

"You're thinking too much." Aaron finally said.

Albern was still looking at Aaron, as if asking for an explanation.

"Briana was eager to meet you in person, so Adrian asked me to help fulfill his daughter's wish. Of course I can't refuse. After all, he was just asking to meet, not something else." Aaron explained.

"But isn't it very clear that her daughter had other intentions?" Ask Albern again not accept.

"It's your business to handle it. I'm not forcing you to act like him either. But if it turns out you're a good fit, that's a good thing."

Albern widened his eyes.

"Father!" His body unconsciously.

Aaron looked towards Albern.

"No need to be angry, young man. I said if you guys were a good fit, instead of forcing you to fit in with him. If you don't like it, it doesn't matter either. The important thing is that I've fulfilled Adrian's request to bring you to his daughter. Whether you want to look at Briana or not is your business."

Albern was silent even though his eyes were still unsettled.

"I don't want Papa pushing women at me anymore after this." Albern then said in a lower tone.

"Then you're going to be single for the rest of your life? Can't you count? If you can, how old are you this year? Do you want Brylee Group's heir to end up in your hands?" Aaron asked with a bit of sarcasm.

Zaya breathed her. It always ends like this if Aaron and Albern talk about women or matchmaking. Albern will be very angry and wrathful, whereas Aaron does not know how to persuade. If this is the case, Zaya is also made dizzy.

"Honey, stop. It's the dining table." Zaya touched Aaron's back and rubbed him gently, trying to calm him down.

Albern's face looks not good. While Aaron averted his eyes with a facial look that also looks not good.

"If you really want a grandchild, just get Zi married." Albern said then lightly.

"Hey, why am I?" This time it was Zivanna who didn't seem to accept it.

Zaya took her breath back. Albern is starting to make no sense. How could he throw the responsibility of giving the Brylee family successor to his sister who has not even graduated from college.

"Your son is getting more and more of a day." Aaron muttered to Zaya as he passed

Zaya gets up from her seat and follows Aaron to the living room. Zivanna and Albern were about to go to their rooms.

"Al, come. Mama wants to talk." Zaya's voice stopped Albern's steps.

"You too, Zi." Said Zaya again.

Inevitably the two brothers obeyed Zaya's orders. Their mother was always gentle and almost never angry. But once he spoke firmly, neither Zivanna nor Albern, neither could argue.

"What's up, Ma?" Albern asked after sitting in front of Zaya and Aaron.

"Do you need to go to the doctor?" Zaya asked back.

The light of Albern widened his eyes, as did Zivanna and Aaron.

"What does Mama mean?" Ask Albern again.

Zaya remained silent for a while.

"Albern, you've never shown any interest in women at all. Mama has been patient enough and let you do everything according to your wishes. Mama and Papa never urged you to get married. But now it looks like Mama can't be quiet anymore. You are a grown up, very mature. If at this age there is still no woman who can attract your attention, do you not feel if you need help?" Zaya said as she looked at Albern seriously.

Albern wastes his breath rough. It's enough to suck that his dad's alluding to this. Now her mother started to follow. Even accused the only son of his puppet had a disorder. Really cruel.

"Do you want to say I'm not normal?" Ask Albern in a tone full of irony.

Zaya looked at her son with concern.

"If you're normal, then why don't you have a partner yet? There aren't any women on this earth that you like?"

Albern was silent for a moment.

"Who said? I have someone I have liked for a long time. And now we've established a relationship. It's not dating like a prankster, but we plan to get married ...."
