Albern and Lily

Albern invites Lily into the boutique. Inside there are some beautiful dresses designed by a famous designer commonly worn by upper class people only. Lily looked at the dresses with a look of amazement.

"Welcome, Young Master Brylee." The two boutique employees greeted Albern with respect.

"The one I ordered special the other day, is it done?" Ask Albern.

"Of course, sir. We've also prepared shoes and a set of jewelry suitable for the dress." Answer one of the boutique staff.

"Come." Both services invited Albern and Lily to follow them into another room of the boutique.

Albern again pulled Lily's hand and stepped following the two boutique employees, until it arrived at a room that only displayed one dress. A very beautiful dress is a blend of navy blue and white. There are additional precious stone accents on some parts of the dress.

Lily was a little flabbergasted to see the dress.

"Let's go, Miss, I'll help you try on the dress." One of the boutique officials invited Lily to enter the dressing room.

"Sa-my?" Lily looked at the boutique clerk in surprise.

"really. This dress was specially ordered by Young Master Brylee for you, Miss Lily Bramasta." Said the boutique officer again.

'Eh? Why does he know my name?'

Lily gasped a little, then turned to look towards Albern.

"What he said was right. I ordered that dress for you. Try it first, I want to see if the dress fits you." Albern gave an explanation.

"Why did Brother Al order a dress for me?" Ask Lily.

"Try the dress first. I'll explain."

Lily finally did not ask again and nodded in agreement. He also followed one of the boutique officials who invited him to the dressing room. While the other boutique employee brought a dress that will be tried with his shoes and jewelry as well.

Albern waited for a while, before Lily finally came back out of the dressing room wearing a dress, shoes and jewelry that had been prepared.

"Sir Al." Lily called to Albern who was standing behind her.

Albern looked over. Instantly he froze to see the graceful figure that was now standing not far from him. Immediately he turned his body, then approached towards Lily slowly while smiling thinly.

"Very pretty. It really fits you." Albern made a comment.

"really?" Lily slightly lifted her dress. Honestly, since childhood she was very uncomfortable wearing a dress like this. He used to cry when his mother forced him to wear a dress to attend an event. But since Albern ordered the dress specifically for her, Lily certainly did not want to make the man feel disappointed.

Albern smiled again, as if understanding what Lily was thinking at the moment.

"I ordered this dress specifically for you, so that you can wear it while attending a party that will be held by Brylee Group." Albern explained.

"Company party?"

"Yes. Another week Brylee Group will throw a party to celebrate the newly signed partnership with a major American company the other day."

Lily slightly widened her eyes.

"You mean Kak Al, a party to celebrate working with Briana's parent company?"

Albern nodded.

"The project we're working on is fantastic."

"That means there will be Briana too?" Lily asked, straying from business coverage.

Albern was silent for a moment.

Lily froze with an indescribable look.

"That's why I prepared this for you." Albern smiled again, as if knowing with Lily's current thought path.

"During this time, every time I attended a party I never brought a couple. Usually there will be some women from business colleagues who approach. This time I will come with you." Said Albern again.

Lily froze. Albern's gonna take her to the company party as a couple?

"I will take you there and introduce my colleagues if you are my future wife. That way, you also do not need to worry anymore about the presence of Briana, or the presence of other women around me. They'll know if I'm someone's future husband."

Lily was speechless. His chest felt full and almost popped. All the feelings mixed into one in his heart so he did not know what to react to.

"But of course, before that we have to tell your Papa about our relationship first. We'll tell him together."

Lily was still speechless and swallowed her saliva with some distress.

"Sister Al, I..." Lily choked and could not continue her words. It was unexpected that Albern would introduce himself as a future companion to his colleagues. Didn't he fear that it might affect his company? Or maybe it will have an effect on the cooperation that has just begun, given that Briana clearly seems to put her heart on Albern.

"No need to think about anything, I know what to do with the company." Albern reached out his hand to caress Lily's face.

Lily was still thinking for a moment, before she finally nodded slowly. True to what Albern said, currently getting his Papa's approval is much more important. Company business, let it be Albern's responsibility. Lily had to trust him because the man had always acted with a lot of consideration.

After it was felt that there was nothing lacking in the dress that Lily tried earlier, Lily also changed back with her clothes. The dress, shoes and jewelry were also packed directly. Albern immediately completed the payment before they finally got back in the car.

"You want to go home?" ask Albern to Lily.

Lily nodded. Actually he was still not too satisfied to let go of longing with Albern, but Lily had no alibi to say to her Papa if later she came home late.

"Kak Al's maiden saved, yes. I'm kind of hard to explain to Mama and Papa if I'm now bringing home this expensive stuff." Lily said.

"Alright," replied Albern.

"Later I'll send it to you when it's close to the day of the party."

Lily nodded.

"But you can't refuse this one." Albern pulled something out from behind his pocket. A blue square shaped jewelry box.

Lily gasped again as Albern opened it. There was a necklace with a diamond flake ornament on the heart-shaped pendant. Albern took the necklace and helped put it on Lily's neck.

"Here, in it are the names of both of us." Albern opened the pendant on the necklace, and it turned out that their names were engraved on each side of the pendant.

"This locket is like us. Two hearts that become one," said Albern while again cupping the two halves of the locket until again showing the diamond fragments.

"This body is always with you" asked Albern again.

Lily looked at the man with a haru look while nodding faintly.

"Thank you," she said with a faint smile.

Albern returned the girl's smile and gently rubbed the tip of her head. Smile expands. He hopes that the girl in front of him will really be his life partner who is bound in the bonds of marriage.
