Assassin's Requiem
Volume 2: Chapter 5

Requiem continued walking on the dark night, avoiding the attention of the palace guards guarding the main gate. He had learned the best route to reach the prince's room, and he did not want to draw anyone's attention to himself.

However, as he passed through several dark passageways, he saw a suspicious shadow in front of him. He stopped and peered through the shadows, seeing a guard walking towards him.

Requiem evaded the guard nimbly and slipped through the narrow passageway. However, when he reached the door of the prince's room, he was surprised to find the door open and the prince was not inside.

He walked in and looked around, finding out where the prince was going. He found a piece of paper on the table, and as he read it, he felt his heart pounding.

"Requiem, I know you're coming. No need to hide. Let's talk."

Requiem was terrified. He did not know who wrote the letter, or how the person knew his real name. He felt like he had been caught in a complicated trap.

However, he was also curious. Who wrote that letter? And what do they want to talk to him about?

Requiem decided to take the risk and met the sender of the letter. He exited the prince's room and jumped down from the open window. He looked around and saw someone waiting for him below.

It was a beautiful young lady with bright green eyes and long blonde hair. He was wearing a black outfit that looked like a secret agent uniform.

"Who are you?" ask Requiem.

"I am a secret agent from a neighboring kingdom. I've been informed of a conspiracy going on in your kingdom and I want to help you stop it" the woman replied.

Requiem wasn't sure if he should trust the woman or not, but he didn't have much of a choice. He followed the woman to safety and they started talking.

The woman tells Requiem about the prince's plan to conquer the neighboring kingdom, and that the prince is actually the mastermind behind the larger conspiracy. He revealed that he had worked with some honest royal members to stop the prince and restore security to the kingdom.

Requiem was relieved to learn that he was not the only one trying to stop the conspiracy. He promises to team up with the woman and help uncover the truth about the prince as well as stop the evil plans that are unfolding. They plot a strategy to break into the palace and search for evidence that could stop the conspiracy.

After planning everything, Requiem and the woman managed to enter the palace undetected. They disguised themselves as lovers and smoothly entered into the prince's room. The prince looked surprised and a little scared to see them enter.

"Who are you?" asked the prince in a trembling voice.

"I am Requiem, the assassin hired to kill you," Requiem replied calmly.

The prince seemed relieved to hear Requiem's reply. "Well, I'm ready to accept my destiny."

However, Requiem immediately corrected his explanation. "But not to kill you. I've come to uncover the truth and help you fight an ongoing conspiracy."

"I don't know anything about any of that. I was just following my father's orders" the prince said in a weak voice.

Requiem and the woman are convinced that the prince is innocent and they promise to help him fight the conspiracy. Together they devise a plan to uncover the truth and bring the conspirators to justice.

However, their plan did not go as smoothly as they had hoped. They managed to gather enough evidence, but they were caught by the royal security forces and thrown into prison. They plan a joint escape and manage to escape from prison with the help of a new ally they meet inside the prison.

They managed to get out of the palace and headed to the rebel headquarters that was outside the city. There, they managed to gather support and together attacked the palace to overthrow the conspirators and bring justice to the prince and the people of the kingdom.

After a fierce battle, they managed to defeat the security forces and uncover the truth in front of the entire royal people. The prince was freed and brought back to his throne as the rightful king. Requiem and the woman decide to disappear and live in solitude again, but with a sense of relief that they have done the right job and brought justice to the people.

After arranging the strategy, the two of them decided to enter the palace at night when the security around the palace was most vulnerable. They entered through the window and entered the Prince's private room. They find evidence that reveals that the Prince was not involved in the conspiracy at all and was instead the victim of the wiles of criminals who wanted to seize the throne.

Requiem and the woman start looking around for other signs and they discover some secret documents that reveal a sinister plot to be carried out by the criminals. They discussed their plans and decided to fight the enemy with all their might. They broke through the room and started a surprise attack on the guards. Requiem uses his sword to fight the enemy while the woman uses her magic power to destroy them.

The fight is fierce and difficult, but eventually they manage to defeat all the enemies and reveal the truth about the conspiracy. The prince thanked them and rewarded them for their services. Requiem and the woman decide to continue their journey together and promise to always be friends with each other in future battles.

As they leave the palace, Requiem feels he has found a true friend for the first time in his life. He learns that it is not always necessary to work alone in life and that friendship and trust can be a tremendous force in the face of danger.

With the conspiracy uncovered and the enemy defeated, Requiem and the woman part ways and continue their respective journeys. However, the two of them knew that they would always remember the battles they had fought together and would always be friends with each other in their hearts.

Meanwhile, Requiem moves further into the palace to find the king. He jumped over the wall and avoided the patrols that were walking in the hallways. Finally, he found the room where the king was.

However, when Requiem entered the room, he was greeted by a group of royal knights who were ready to protect their king. Requiem quickly drew his sword and prepared to fight.

As the fight progressed, Requiem realized that the knights were not only trying to protect their king, but also killing him. They are part of a larger conspiracy.

After a great battle, Requiem managed to kill all those knights and face the king. The king is initially surprised to see a hitman before him, but then he realizes that Requiem is the only hope to stop the conspiracy.

The king gave Requiem important information about who was responsible for the conspiracy and what their purpose was. After getting that information, Requiem decides to go find his friends and form a team to stop the conspiracy.

They managed to stop the conspiracy and reveal the truth to the world. Although they risked losing their lives in the process, they managed to win the fight against crime and corruption.

Afterwards, Requiem and his friends continue on their journey and fight for justice around the world. They became legends and were known as heroes who fought for truth and justice.

Eventually, Requiem realizes that he has found the real family in his team and admits that his life has changed forever.
