Requiem followed in the footsteps of the prince who was heading towards a secret room within the palace. He considered the best strategy to complete his mission, yet as he approached the door of the room, an unwanted voice appeared behind him.
"Don't move, killer," said a woman in a stern voice.
Requiem turned around and saw a royal secret agent he knew well, Lia, pointing his gun at him.
"Lia, I don't want to get involved with you," Requiem said, remaining calm.
"Of course not" Lia replied. "You think you can go inside the palace and kill the prince without being captured? I've been following your moves ever since you arrived in this town."
Requiem understood that Lia was not going to retreat, so he took out his weapon and was ready to fight. However, before they could begin, the sound of the secret room door opening caught their attention.
"Who's there?" ask the prince in the room.
Requiem and Lia hid behind the available pillars, and listened intently to the conversation inside the room.
"Prince, we must finish the war with another Kingdom as quickly as possible" said the voice they were unfamiliar with. "We need to make a big attack in the spring."
"I will consider your advice" replied the prince. "I also have my own plan. I will do what I have to do to protect my kingdom and my people."
Requiem heaved a sigh of relief. That meant the prince was not fully involved in the conspiracy that attacked him. He begins to think of a plan to uncover the truth and defeat the masterminds behind the conspiracy.
However, as he moved to come out of hiding, he felt something strange. There was a witch who was observing them with hidden magic.
Requiem immediately took action and attacked the witch. They fought fiercely and Requiem was almost seriously injured, but eventually he managed to capture and interrogate the witch.
"He is an agent from another Kingdom" Lia said, after checking the witch's identity card.
Requiem began to reconnect the puzzles he had collected. This conspiracy is bigger than he thought. He knew he had to engage his new allies, including the prince, to defeat their enemies.
After arranging a meeting with the prince, Requiem explained what he found. The prince was startled and he began to question whether the actions he had taken were really appropriate. Requiem gives him time to think things through, but at the same time, they know that they must move quickly to stop the conspiracy.
They begin planning an attack on the enemy base, with help from new ally Requiem and some knights from other kingdoms. They infiltrate the enemy headquarters with ease, but they soon realize that they are trapped in a trap. The enemy headquarters was bigger and more dangerous than they had imagined, and there were many more guards and enemy forces waiting for them inside.
Requiem and his team are forced to fight desperately to survive and fight their enemies. They were desperate and nearly defeated, but with their combined strength, they managed to defeat the enemy forces and enter the room where the conspirators were.
Inside the room, they find the leader of a conspiracy: an old witch who possesses extremely powerful magical powers. He attempted to stop Requiem and his allies, but they fought with their combined forces and eventually managed to defeat him.
After incapacitating the leader of the conspiracy, they find evidence that proves that the prince is actually the victim in this sinister plot. The conspirator attempted to assassinate the prince and take over the throne. The Prince and Requiem decide to reveal all these secrets to the public, and the people eventually learn the truth about the conspiracy.
The prince eventually apologized for his mistake and promised to make amends for his past mistakes. Requiem and his allies were relieved that they had managed to stop the conspiracy and save the kingdom from destruction.
However, Requiem felt burdened by everything that had happened. He realizes that he has made a mistake in judging the prince and understands that sometimes the truth is not always visible on the surface. He decides to leave the profession of a hitman and seek redemption for his past mistakes. The prince respected his decision and gave him the opportunity to start a new life.
Requiem saw a mixed expression on the prince's face, from confusion to fear. However, before the prince could give any response, an explosion sounded in the distance. Requiem turned to look at the sound and saw a building in the distance burning.
"The fight has begun" Requiem said, "We must leave before it's too late."
The prince nodded and the two of them rushed out of the palace. Outside, they saw chaos everywhere, with warriors from different kingdoms fighting each other and buildings burning in the distance. Requiem and the prince looked around them and tried to find a way out of the dangerous city.
Requiem managed to defeat the soldiers with his skills and took the prince out of the passageway. They fled the city and headed to a forest outside the city. When they reached the forest, Requiem saw that the prince was wounded and decided to give first aid.
"That's enough," said the prince, "I owe you. I don't know how I can repay him."
Requiem shook his head. "There is no need for a reply. I'm doing this because I believe you're innocent and I have to make sure."
The prince smiled at Requiem and Requiem could see the trust and gratitude in the prince's eyes. However, before they could comment further, they heard the sound of approaching footsteps.
Requiem looked out of hiding and saw a large army of soldiers approaching. "We must leave now" he told the prince. "I'm gonna get us out of here."
The two of them ran into the forest and Requiem took the prince through a winding and hidden path. However, they were suddenly confronted by a rushing river and blocked their exit.
"How do we get past this river?" ask the prince.
Requiem looked around and saw a small wooden bridge located a few meters below. "We have to go down that bridge" Requiem said, "there's no other way out of here."
The prince looked at Requiem with a look of fear, but he knew he had no other choice. They descended to the bridge, and after a while, they managed to cross the river and reach the shore on the other side. They walked quickly towards the forest, trying not to make any sounds that could attract the attention of their enemies.
After walking for some time, Requiem stopped his steps and looked at the prince. "We have to split up here" he said. "You must go to a safe place and not reveal what happened to anyone. I'll find out more about this conspiracy and stop it."
The prince felt a little relieved that he should not continue to be on the side of this cold and deadly assassin, but he also felt a little afraid of being alone in this unfamiliar forest. "What if they find me?" tanyakanya.
Requiem smiled faintly. "I will protect you" he said. "But you must promise not to reveal anything about me or this mission to anyone, not even your father."
The prince nodded, and the two of them hugged for a while before parting ways. Requiem continued on his own journey, while the prince walked alone towards the opposite direction.
Requiem continues on his way to the royal capital, trying to find more evidence of this conspiracy. He meets other secret agents who help him, and together they manage to find more information about the conspiracy.
After days of investigating, Requiem and other secret agents discover that the conspiracy involves several nobles and high officials in the kingdom, who planned to take power from the king and replace it with an innocent prince.
Requiem and other secret agents decided to go to the king and tell him about the conspiracy. Although the king was shocked and saddened that there were people around him who wanted to betray him, he was very grateful that Requiem had helped him uncover the truth.
Eventually, Requiem and other secret agents managed to stop the conspiracy and bring the perpetrators to justice. The prince was safe and survived the threat, and Requiem gained recognition as a hero.
Requiem found it a little strange with this confession, because throughout his life he had only been known as a cold and deadly hitman. However, he felt a little relieved that he had helped save the kingdom from harm and helped open the prince's eyes to the conspiracy going on around him.
The prince nodded and looked at Requiem with appreciation. "I don't know how to thank you for everything you do, Requiem. You have proven that there are people who still care about the good and the truth in this world."
Requiem felt somewhat uncomfortable with the attention the prince gave, but he simply nodded and said, "No need to say thank you. I did my job as a hit man well."
The prince smiled. "But you did more than that, Requiem. You have shown that there is hope for this world, even in the darkness and decay that is all around us."
Requiem simply nodded, still feeling uncomfortable with the praise given to him. However, he felt a little relieved that he had done something right for a good change.
After the meeting, Requiem and the prince parted ways by saluting each other. Requiem returns to his life as a hitman, but with little difference. He began to think more about the consequences of his actions and how he could use his skills to make a greater change in this world.
