Assassin's Requiem
Volume 2, Chapter 7: The Secret Room

Requiem and his new ally, a secret agent named Lyra, are at the prince's palace to uncover the truth behind a conspiracy they discovered. After disguising themselves as servants and exploring the various corners of the palace, they finally found a closely guarded secret room.

Requiem entered the fake key he got from a witch they had met before. When the door opened, they were surprised to see the prince standing in the middle of the room, waiting for their arrival.

"You two dare to enter here," said the prince in an arrogant tone. "But unfortunately, you're late."

Requiem and Lyra soon realize that they have fallen into a trap. The prince took out a ring that left them trapped in a magical force field that restricted their movements.

"There's nothing you can do now" the prince said with a cynical smile. "The two of you will be silent witnesses to my death. And I will continue to rule over this kingdom."

However, Requiem was not desperate. He focused his mind and used his magical power to break away from the magical force field. He jumped forwards and tried to attack the prince, but he was trapped by the next trap.

Lyra also tried hard to break away and finally succeeded. He took out his weapon and shot an arrow towards the prince, but he managed to dodge and unleash a counterattack.

Requiem and Lyra continue to fight desperately to survive, but they continue to get caught up in the prince's magical traps and attacks. However, when the prince started to weaken, they finally managed to kill him with the help of the magical power of Requiem.

After the prince dies, Requiem and Lyra begin to explore a hidden secret room. They found various documents and evidence proving that the prince was involved in various crimes and conspiracies.

As they leave the palace, they meet a knight who has taken over control of the kingdom on behalf of the people. He thanked the two of them for their sacrifice and help in stopping the conspiracy.

Requiem and Lyra continued their journey with a feeling of relief and hope. They know that there are still a lot of tasks waiting for them, but they are ready for whatever challenges come their way.

When they arrived in the city, Requiem immediately searched for information about his target. He learned that the prince often visited the palace outside the city and would return there that night. In his desperation, Requiem meets a secret agent from a neighboring country known as "Shadow". Shadow and Requiem decide to work together to stop a larger conspiracy involved in the situation.

In a series of suspense-filled stunts, Requiem and Shadow manage to save the prince and uncover the conspiracy hidden behind his actions. They learn that the prince is actually innocent and has been kidnapped by traitors who want to use his power for their own benefit.

In a heartwarming ending, Requiem and Shadow hand the prince back to his kingdom, gaining the respect and trust of the kingdom. They realize that their power can be used to protect innocent people and fight for the truth, and they vow to always do so in the future.
