Assassin's Requiem
Chapter 4

Requiem peeked out from behind a street corner, noticing the movements of the prince from a distance. He felt that something was not right about this situation - the prince should have been in tight protection after getting the death threat, but he was seen walking around alone without bodyguards.

Requiem followed him carefully, making sure that he was not too close to be detected. After a few minutes, the prince stopped in front of an old building and went inside.

Requiem surprised. The building was a long-abandoned former army headquarters, and he did not understand why the prince wanted to go there. Without thinking twice, he followed the prince into the building.

Inside, Requiem realized that there were some people lurking around the building. They looked ready to attack and Requiem felt the need to be vigilant.

As he approached the prince, Requiem saw that he was talking to a man sitting on a chair. The man seemed to be wearing a black robe, and Requiem felt a powerful magical aura burst out from his body.

Requiem snuck in and hid himself behind the pole. He tried to listen to the conversation carefully.

"You don't need to worry, Prince," said the black-robed man. "Everything is well prepared. No one will suspect us."

Requiem grunted softly. He felt that he could not wait anymore and had to take action right now. He jumped out of his hiding place and attacked the black-robed man with his sword.

But the man was quick and dodged Requiem's attack easily. He then cast a magic spell that attacked Requiem with great power. Requiem rolled to the side and rebalanced himself.

"Who are you?" the Prince asked, surprised to see Requiem.

"Someone is paid to kill you" Requiem replied.

The prince looked confused. "Why do you want to kill me?"

"Because it is my duty," replied Requiem coldly.

Suddenly, several people came out from inside the building and started attacking the two of them. Requiem and the Prince must join forces and work together to confront their enemies.

The battle was long and exhausting, but eventually they managed to defeat their enemies. After they finished, the Prince looked at Requiem with a grateful look.

"I don't know what's going on" the Prince said. "But thank you for saving my life.

Requiem entered the prince's palace house very carefully, with slow steps and adjusting to the surroundings. He enters the prince's room successfully, only to discover that the prince is not there. Requiem soon realized that the prince had left the place by going from the window.

Suddenly, Requiem felt something suspicious and turned to look around. He knew something was wrong and he had to be careful. And as he expected, the door was tightly closed and locked with a double lock. Requiem knew he was trapped.

Suddenly, a voice appeared from inside the room. "Haha, so you ended up stuck, Requiem," said a man in a cold and evil voice.

Requiem swiftly drew his sword, ready to face any threat. "Who are you?" tanyakanya.

Requiem turned his gaze to the man, "I just accept the task and have to do it" he replied.

"But why did he have to die?" asked the man, still laughing sarcastically. "We don't think there's a good enough reason."

Requiem sighed, "I don't have the authority to determine the reason, I'm just carrying out my duty" he replied firmly.

The man nodded his head, "You know, I like your attitude," he said. "I have an offer for you, Requiem."

"What offer?" ask Requiem.

"I want you to help us overthrow the king" said the man. "I know you're a very famous hit man and an expert on this. We can hire you and pay you a huge fee."

Requiem thought for a moment. He knows this is an opportunity to uncover the truth behind the conspiracy and possibly help the innocent prince. But he doesn't want to be part of a diabolical plan that could possibly spell disaster for many.

"I asked for some time to think about your offer" Requiem finally said.

The man nodded, "Of course. But never forget that I have an ace in my hand" he said, with a sharp look and implied threat in his eyes.

Requiem pondered those words as he was directed out of the room. He knew that this task was more complicated than he thought, and he had to be careful at every step of the way. He must not engage in a conspiracy that harms many, but he must also

Completed his duties as a hit man with professionalism.

After exiting the palace, Requiem infiltrated the bustling city and sought information about the prince and the state of the kingdom. He moves without being seen and without leaving a trace, avoiding secret agents who might be looking for him. After several days of stalking and spying, Requiem discovers that the prince has a relationship with a group of witches known as the Death Cult.

The cult of Death is a group of dark witches known for their power in summoning terrifying creatures from another world. They often perform rituals and human sacrifices to strengthen their power. Requiem realized that the prince might be involved in this activity, and the task became more strenuous.

One night, as Requiem was sneaking out behind the prince's window, he overheard a shocking conversation between the prince and a member of the Death Cult. They spoke of a plan to make massive sacrifices in the royal capital to strengthen the power of the Cult. Requiem had to stop them before it was too late.

Requiem moves quickly, teaming up with his new allies to plan a surprise attack on the Cult's headquarters. They fight dark witches and creatures produced by their powers in fierce battles. Requiem himself fought with one member of the Cult, a powerful sorceress. After a long battle, Requiem managed to kill the witch, but she was also severely injured.

Requiem recovers from his injuries while awaiting the results of his new ally's investigation at the Cult's headquarters. They find evidence that the prince is innocent, and that he is actually trying to stop the cult plot. The prince himself, now ousted from power, apologizes to Requiem and gives him a new assignment to dismantle the larger conspiracy behind the Death Cult.

Requiem accepts the new task with renewed determination, finding strength in his new friendship and determination to do the right thing. He continues his mission vigorously, infiltrating into a larger and dangerous web of conspiracies. However, he knew that his decision had made new enemies and dangers greater than ever.

Will Requiem succeed in dismantling this conspiracy and saving the world he knows? Only time will tell in the next story of Assassin's Requiem.
