Assassin's Requiem
Volume 3, Chapter 7: Battle at the Palace

Requiem and his new allies have successfully entered the prince's palace and are trying to uncover the truth behind a conspiracy that threatens their lives. However, they were faced with a fierce battle with the army of palace guards protecting the prince.

Requiem jumped off the roof of the palace and paved the way for his comrade to go inside. He managed to dodge the sword attack thrown at him and sneaked into the palace quickly. However, he was faced with a more formidable enemy when he met one of the knights of the prince's guard.

"Don't move, killer!" said the knight in a loud voice.

Requiem remained silent and waited for an opportunity to attack. However, as he turned his sword, he felt a piercing pain in his stomach and slumped to the floor. He saw that the knight had stabbed him with a knife hidden behind his wrist protector.

As Requiem struggles to stay sober, he sees his partner coming to his aid. They worked together to defeat the knights and eventually managed to take control of the palace.

However, when they search for the prince, they discover that he has escaped from the palace and left behind many clues indicating that he is as innocent as they had thought before. They also found evidence to suggest that there were other forces seeking to take power in the kingdom.

Requiem and his new allies work together to find the prince and uncover the truth behind the conspiracy. However, they must fight against a powerful evil force and take great risks to protect the kingdom and their loved ones.

After Requiem and his team manage to escape from the enemy headquarters, they return to the nearest town to plan their next move. Requiem decides to take the plunge and meets a sorcerer named Xander, known as the one who can help solve difficult problems.

Xander initially rejects Requiem's request, but after Requiem provides information about the conspiracy they are facing, Xander finally agrees to help. He said that they needed some hard-to-get ingredients to make a special potion that could help them track down the real king and reveal his identity to the world.

Requiem and his team set out to a distant region in search of the materials, but they are faced with an unexpected danger. They were attacked by invisible attacks from ferocious monsters, and some team members were seriously injured. However, they continued to advance and finally managed to obtain the required ingredients.

When they return to the city, they discover that conditions are getting precarious. Enemy secret agents continue to go after them, and Requiem knows that their time is less and less. They immediately began to prepare the special potion, and after a few days they finally managed to make it.

The potion helps them find the true location of the king, and they decide to attack his base quickly. Requiem and his team managed to break into the base and fight the guards. However, when they reached the throne room, they found a shocking surprise: the real king was the prince they had saved earlier.

The prince explained that his father was actually a victim of a conspiracy and had been killed by traitors who wanted to seize power. The prince disguises himself as the real prince to investigate further and discover the truth. Requiem and his team vow to help him uncover a conspiracy and return justice to the kingdom.

They begin to plan a massive attack to stop the traitors and uncover the truth to the entire kingdom. Requiem and his team are ready to do everything necessary to defeat the enemy and restore peace in the kingdom.

Requiem and his two friends stalk Prince Jirou's movements from a distance, trying to figure out a way to approach him unseen. They were already in the middle of the enemy headquarters and they knew that any mistake could endanger their lives.

"I think I have an idea," Shira said, while pondering the situation closely. "We can use magic to make ourselves invisible and enter the prince's room unseen."

"That's great" said Requiem. "But we have to move quickly before their magic range increases and find us."

They immediately launched their plan, and after passing through several barriers and traps, they finally made it into the prince's room undetected. However, when they got there, they found the prince in a very bad state. He lay weakly on the bed and his face was as pale as paper.

"He is in grave danger" Shira said, while checking the prince's pulse. "He was poisoned by something, and I'm not sure if I can cure him."

Requiem checked around and saw that there was an empty bottle next to the bed. He examined the contents and soon realized that the poison was not something that the hitmen used to do. "It's different" Requiem said. "This is a very powerful and very dangerous witch-made poison."

"What's up here?" asked the Jury, who had been standing behind them.

Requiem provided information about what they found, and the Jury seemed very worried. "This means there's a witch behind all this. They're trying to take over the kingdom by poisoning the prince."

"But who would do such a thing?" ask Shira.

"We need to find the answer as quickly as possible" Requiem said. "Now, can you save the prince?"

Shira shook her head sadly. "It's not an ordinary poison, and I don't know if I can cure it. But I'll try my best."

They all waited anxiously, hoping that Shira could heal the prince. However, after a while, Shira finally stopped her efforts. "Sorry," he said. "I've tried my best, but I can't cure him. This poison is too powerful."

Requiem took a deep breath, feeling a great failure. "We must leave this place immediately" he said. "We can't find who's responsible for this if we stay here too long."

The knights and magicians agreed and prepared to leave the city quickly. Suddenly, they heard quick footsteps and a voice calling out to them from behind.

"They're there! Don't let them go!"

Requiem and his allies turned around and saw a group of soldiers armed with swords and bows chasing them quickly. Requiem felt annoyed that they could not leave without being found. He pulled out his sword and got ready to fight.

But before he could do anything, a nearby mage raised his hand and unleashed a magic spell that illuminated the surrounding area with a bright light.

Suddenly, everyone except Requiem found it hard to move. They flinched and tried to dodge the enemy's attack, but were stuck in place.

Requiem, with his magical powers, could see that the magic spell was making time move slower for those around him, allowing him to move and act faster than his enemy.

He dashed towards the soldiers and slashed one by one with his sharp sword, shocking them with his incredible speed.

Meanwhile, the magicians and knights continued to cast magic spells and physical attacks to help Requiem fight the enemy. Although it was difficult to move, they persevered and struggled with their own strength.

Suddenly, Requiem fell to the ground violently, struck from behind. He felt pain all over his body as he crawled to get back up.

He looked up and saw an unknown man with a sword in his hand. He grinned at Requiem and said, "You are the perfect prey for me. Who're you?"

Requiem smiled. "I'm Requiem, the best hit man in the business."

The man laughed and countered Requiem's attack with his sword. A fierce battle begins between the two, with attacks and blockades exchanging.

As the fight continued, Requiem realized that the man was not careless. He had fighting techniques that were as expert as himself, and his every move was carried out with deadly precision.

After a long and exhausting fight, Requiem finally managed to defeat the man with one last strike. Requiem stared at the fall of the man's body, panting and sweating. He was relieved to have managed to cripple his enemy, but also felt sad and a little shaken by the sacrifices he had to make.

His new allies approached him and patted him on the shoulder, "We managed to defeat them, friend. You did an amazing job."

Requiem nodded and looked around. Now, only carcasses remain around them. They manage to win the fight, but the question is still the same: who is responsible for all this?

"Let's find a clue" Requiem said. He opened the barn door and got ready to get out.

But the moment he set foot outside, he felt a powerful boost of magical power. He looked around and saw the three people who were facing him, each standing with a weapon in their hands.

Requiem was preparing to fight again, but the three people just stared at him with unforgettable gazes.

"We know who you are, Requiem" said one of them. "And we've come to offer you an offer that you can't refuse."

Requiem looked at them suspiciously. He did not like the offer or help from anyone, but with the circumstances he was in, he had no choice.

"What do you guys offer?" ask Requiem in a low voice.

"Now is not the time to talk about it" said the man. "Let's follow us, and we'll give you the answer."

Requiem hesitates, but he knows that he must finish his task and find out who is responsible for this mess.

He nodded at them and they left together, towards a secret place known only to a few. There, Requiem finds answers to all the puzzles that have haunted him.

As it turns out, there is a secret group responsible for all the riots and conflicts taking place in the kingdom. They have powerful motives and immense magical powers, but Requiem and his new allies manage to uncover the truth and stop them.

After all that was over, Requiem pondered about everything he had done. He knows that his life as a hit man will never be easy, but he was also content to have helped protect the innocent and free the kingdom from the chaos caused by the bad guys.

He may not be able to erase his dark past, but he has shown that kindness and sacrifice can come from the most unlikely places and from the most unlikely people. And for the first time in his life, Requiem felt that he had a strong connection with the people who accompanied him on this mission.

"We did it" Requiem said to his friends with a smile on his face. "We have liberated the prince from the siege and foiled the evil plan directed at him. Our job is done."

But after their success, Requiem felt that something was still unfinished. He feels there are many secrets and mysteries still to be solved, and he feels that he must continue to work to find the truth and keep the world safe that he loves.

On the way home, Requiem thought of many things. He thought about his past and about the bad decisions he had made. He thought about the prince and about what would happen to him next. And most importantly, he thought about his friends and about how he had found a meaningful relationship with them.

Requiem knows that his job as a hitman may never end, but he also knows that he will never be alone. He has friends who will always support him and help him in the face of anything that may come to him in the future.

"Assassin's Requiem," Requiem murmured to himself. "I never thought that I would find the true meaning of this pseudonym of mine. But now I know that in the darkness, there is also light, and that even an assassin can find redemption."

In his heart, Requiem is grateful to have found true friends and to have found the meaning of his life. He knew that he would continue to live and work to keep the world safe, and he knew that he would never again do so alone.

A few weeks later, Requiem and his allies returned to the royal city where they first met. The surviving prince, along with his people, welcomed their arrival with joy.

Requiem was relieved to see the state of the city that had begun to recover from the evil influence of the King. However, when they arrive at the palace, Requiem discovers that the kingdom is still in a state of chaos. The powerful power of the kingdom and the unlimited power made some members of the royal family and his advisers fall into corruption.

Requiem and his allies realized they had to do something to stop corruption in the kingdom. They took a big risk by gathering evidence and fighting against established power.

In a fierce final battle, Requiem and his allies manage to defeat the corruptors and show that the truth will always prevail.

Afterwards, the prince decided to introduce a new queen, one whom he loved sincerely. Requiem attended their wedding ceremony and was delighted that he had helped change the destiny of the kingdom for the better.

When the wedding ceremony ended, Requiem decided to go to a new place and start a new life. However, he knew that his duties as a hitman were not over yet. He promised himself that he would continue to fight for truth and justice.

With a relieved heart, Requiem walked away from the royal city, and a clear sky accompanied his steps towards his next adventure. Eventually, a notorious hitman disappears, but the story of Requiem's adventures and courage continues to expand around the world.
