Volume 3 Chapter 8: The Lies of the Prince

Requiem pondered this complicated situation in the depths of his heart as he walked amidst the dark forest. He still could not believe what had just happened, that he had managed to escape the ferocious prince guard troops and was constantly trying to kill him. He wondered what would happen next.

When Requiem arrives at an old hut by the river, he sees that his ally, a secret agent who introduces himself as Lucius, is waiting for him there. Lucius looked at Requiem fearfully.

"What's going on? You managed to escape?" ask Lucius.

The prince took the paper and looked at Requiem with appreciation. "Thank you, Requiem. I will do my best to repair my kingdom and bring peace to everyone."

Requiem smiled and nodded, "I will always support you in your struggles."

In the darkness, a mysterious man who was watching their meeting through the window laughed softly. "That's stupid, you've killed your chances for power" he murmured. "I'll take over this power soon."
