Assassin's Requiem
Chapter 6

Requiem crept carefully across the roof of the building in the middle of the night, waiting for the right moment to take action. He peered down, looking for any signs of movement or sound indicating that his target, Prince Edward, was inside the magnificent palace below.

Requiem has taken on this task with mediocrity, as part of his daily routine as the best hitman in the world. But something different feels tonight. He felt a tension in the air, like something was amiss behind this task.

As Requiem prepared to fire his arrow towards the window of the prince's room, he noticed something shocking. There was a shadow figure moving behind the curtain. Requiem thwarted his intentions and retreated backwards, observing closely. He realized that the prince was not alone in his bedroom.

"Who is that?" requiem murmured inwardly, unsure of what to do next.

Suddenly, the door of the room opened and two people came out. One of them was Prince Edward, who walked with cautious steps, while the other was a mysterious man with an appearance that reminded Requiem of an assassin.

Requiem sighed deeply and made up his mind to follow them. He continued to peek and move through the silent corridors of the palace, trying not to be seen by the patrolling bodyguards.

Finally, Requiem followed them into the dark basement. There was a large table filled with important documents and some dim light institutions that lit up the room. Prince Edward sat on a large chair on one side of the table, while the mysterious man stood next to him.

"So, is this really going to work?" asked the mysterious man in a heavy voice.

"Yes, it'll work. I will use my power to ensure that this plan goes smoothly" Prince Edward replied confidently.

Requiem was goosebumps hearing their conversation. He understood that the evil plan would bring disaster to many, and he had to do something to stop it.

Without a second thought, Requiem jumped into the room and pulled his bow, targeting the mysterious man. However, before he could shoot, he saw something that made him stop.

On the mysterious man's face, Requiem saw a familiar look on his face. That man is the man who has

"So, how's my target doing?" ask in a low voice.

"Your target is still in the palace" the man replied. "However, I do get information that he's planning a trip out of town in the next few days."

Requiem nodded in understanding. "I'll be ready when the time comes."

"Not so fast," cut the man. "There's something else you need to know."

"The prince is as innocent as you think," the man said in a serious voice. "He was accused of treason against the kingdom, but I have evidence to suggest that he is actually innocent."

Requiem was surprised to hear that. He never thought that there was a chance that the prince was innocent. However, he could not ignore the fact that he had accepted the task of killing her.

"So, what should I do now?" tanyakanya.

"First of all, you must find evidence proving that the prince is innocent" the man replied. "And then, you have to help him prove the truth."

Requiem pondered for a moment. His job has gone from killing the prince to helping him prove his truth. However, he could not ignore his original task. He decided to do both at the same time.

"I will do my best to complete this task" Requiem said in a serious voice.

The man nodded. "I know you'll do it. But remember, time is key in this. You need to move immediately."

Requiem nodded and then left the room. He doesn't know what will happen next, but he is ready to face all possibilities.

Requiem returned to his room and immediately began planning his next move. He took out a map of the kingdom and began to check the route that the prince might take if he tried to escape. Requiem also thought of possible traps or traps that might have been prepared by the enemy.

After a moment of contemplation, Requiem decided to make a move immediately. He left the room and headed to the stables to pick up the best horse available. Soon after, he began his journey to pursue the prince he was looking for.

Requiem traveled for days, and in the end, he found traces of the prince. The prince did try to escape, but Requiem managed to take control of the situation and managed to capture him.

However, when Requiem began interrogating the prince, he began to feel that there was more going on than he had previously thought. The prince confessed that he was actually the victim of a major conspiracy involving the royal family and secret agents.

Requiem pondered for a moment. He knew that he could not let the prince leave just like that. However, he also found it impossible to kill the prince without making sure that he was truly at fault.

Finally, Requiem made a difficult decision. He takes the prince with him, risking his life to prove that the prince is innocent. Together, they fight to uncover the truth behind a conspiracy involving many powerful parties, including the royal family itself.

Their journey is not easy. They must fight against a secret agent who seeks to kill them and hide the truth. However, with the help of new allies and tireless courage, they finally manage to uncover the conspiracy and bring justice to the innocent prince.

In the epic finale, Requiem sacrifices his life to save the prince and stop the conspiracy. However, his sacrifice is not in vain, as he has proven that even the most famous and coldest hit man can change and choose to do the right thing.
