Assassin's Requiem
Volume 3 - Chapter 4: The Unveiling

Requiem stood in front of the gate guarding the palace. He had already prepared himself to complete his task of killing the Prince, but after learning of the many secrets hidden behind this conspiracy, he felt doubtful.

He glanced at the pair of knights standing in front of the gate. They looked at him suspiciously, but Requiem felt confident. He knew himself to have more than enough skill to cross their barrier.

He bowed low as they approached, showing the identifying symbol given to him as a palace guest. The knight checked his identity and Requiem was able to enter.

As he walked through the corridor towards the Prince's room, he felt an unusual strange tremor. He sensed an extremely powerful magical power being nearby.

He decided to continue his journey carefully, placing his hand on his sword and preparing himself for the fight.

When he arrived in front of the door of the Prince's room, he felt an extremely powerful aura of magical power. He enters the room and discovers that the Prince is facing a witch who looks very powerful.

Requiem was surprised to see that. He observed the situation and took the decision to attack the witch from behind.

However, as he approached the witch, Requiem noticed that the witch was actually an old friend he had known in the past.

They looked at each other and Requiem was relieved when his friend nodded his head as a sign of recognition.

The prince then reveals that he is trying to fight against an evil force that wants to rule the world. Requiem and his friend then join forces with the Prince to stop the crime.

They fought tenaciously against their enemies and eventually managed to defeat the evil force.

After the fight was over, Requiem realized that he had already started to have a strong growing friendly relationship with the Prince and his friend. He feels happy to have accomplished his task in a better way and helped uncover the truth hidden behind the conspiracy.

Requiem took the decision not to return to his solitary life. He has found a new family in friendship and will help the Prince and his friend protect the world from the threats that threaten him.

Without a second thought, Requiem directly slammed his body towards the prince and hugged him tightly. Their bodies were thrown backwards, avoiding the explosion in time. Requiem tried to calm his breath down while checking if the prince survived.

"Sir, are you okay?" ask Requiem while examining the minor injuries to the prince.

The prince only nodded weakly and looked at Requiem with an immeasurable gaze.

"Thank you" he said.

Requiem breathed a sigh of relief and helped the prince to rise to his feet. The two of them exchanged glances for a moment before then jointly dashed towards the exit.

They managed to get out of the palace and escape into the surrounding forest. However, they are still being chased by the royal forces trying to capture them.

Requiem and the prince ran with all their might, through the rivers and forests, through the steep paths, continuously running nonstop. However, when they get to the edge of a steep cliff, they find themselves trapped.

"Prince, I will protect you," Requiem said firmly.

Requiem raised his eyebrows and took a combat-ready position. In an instant, the royal army had already arrived and was fighting with Requiem and the prince. The battle was fierce, but in the end Requiem and the prince managed to defeat the royal army.

After defeating the royal army, Requiem and the prince continued his escape. They were looking for a safe place to hide and rest. When they stopped at a cave hidden within the forest, Requiem examined the wounds on his body and the prince.

"We must rest and heal our wounds first" Requiem said.

The prince simply nodded and the two of them sat inside the cave, breathing in fresh air and letting their bodies rest.

However, when Requiem started to feel better, he felt that something was amiss. He feels that they are still being pursued and that danger still threatens them.

"We need to get out of here. We're not safe here" Requiem said.

The prince nodded and the two of them got up to continue their escape. They still have a lot of challenges to face, but they are ready to face them.

Carefully, Requiem placed the prince's body neatly on the bed and closed his eyes gently. Then he turned around and stepped out of the room, leaving his allies there to take care of the prince's corpse.

As Requiem walked out of the palace, he felt great relief and tension from finishing his duties. However, he also felt a little relieved to finally find out the truth about what happened to the prince and stop the conspiracy.

But when he stepped out of the palace gate, he was greeted by people waiting outside to catch him. They are the royal troops who have been informed that he is a hit man who must be arrested.

Requiem is ready to fight them, but suddenly appears his ally, the kingdom's secret agent who saves his life and takes him on the run from the place. His allies say that he has plans to prove that Requiem is not an actual hitman and reveal the truth about what happened to the prince.

Requiem and his allies then work together to reveal the truth about the conspiracy and prove that Requiem is innocent. However, during their journey, they are attacked by other forces who want to kill them.

In a fierce battle, Requiem and his allies managed to escape and eventually made it to a nearby town. There, they realize that the conspiracy involves more people than they think and they must gather enough evidence to prove who is behind all this.

In the city, they meet a witch who has important information about the conspiracy. However, as they try to meet the witch, they are ambushed by other forces who want to stop them.

In a great battle, Requiem and his allies managed to defeat their enemies and eventually met the witch. Witches provide them with information about the mastermind behind the conspiracy and provide them with extremely powerful magical artifacts that can help them defeat their enemies.

With this new information and artifacts, Requiem and his allies finally manage to uncover the truth about the conspiracy and prove that Requiem is innocent. They manage to stop the mastermind behind the conspiracy and bring peace back to the kingdom.

Requiem felt slightly moved by the support and friendship he found during this mission, and she begins to consider perhaps finding new friends and becoming part of a larger world than she ever imagined. However, he also knew that his duty was as a hitman

Not finished. Requiem decided to focus on his task and accelerate his pace towards the final goal.

After passing through the obstacles and facing the danger that threatened his life, Requiem finally made it to where the prince was. He saw that the prince was shocked and frightened to see him, but Requiem quickly made sure that he would not kill him. Instead, Requiem points out that he has come to understand the real situation and who is actually responsible for all the chaos that is going on.

With the help of his new allies, Requiem manages to obtain solid evidence of a conspiracy and expose the truth to the people. The prince was acquitted of false charges and gained the support of his people. Requiem was satisfied with this final result and felt that he had done something right and beneficial to the world.
