Requiem stood in the middle of the forest, gazing towards the large palace in the distance. He had crossed enemy territory and evaded surveillance for days to get here. His job is to kill the royal prince who is a threat to his client. However, before he could do so, he had to find a way to enter the palace undetected.
Requiem watched the movements of the guards around the palace walls, looking for a gap to enter. He saw a servant who was walking towards the back door and he decided to follow the servant. After sneaking in, Requiem felt relieved that he had managed to enter the palace undetected.
He continued to sneak in, dodging the guards and jumping from the shadows into the shadows, towards the prince's room. When he arrived, he found that the door was already open. He entered and saw the prince sitting at the table, checking some documents.
Requiem pulled out his sword, ready to launch an attack. However, when the prince saw her, he did not seem surprised. Instead, he asked Requiem to sit down and talk.
"He paid you to kill me, right?" ask prince.
Requiem nodded. "That's my job."
"But do you know why he wanted me dead?" ask the prince again.
Requiem shook his head. "I didn't ask. I'm just doing my job."
The prince smiled slightly. "I understand. But, if you're willing, I can give you more valuable information than your pay."
Requiem is not sure what to do. He knew that he had to kill the prince, but he was also curious as to what the prince wanted to say.
"I listened," Requiem finally said.
The prince told Requiem that he was not like his father, the current reigning king. She is the child of a secret relationship between her mother and a powerful witch. As such, he was not considered a legitimate heir and many parties wanted to depose him from the throne.
Requiem was shocked to hear the secret. He felt that there were more secrets hidden behind the prince's polite and courteous appearance. He decided not to kill the prince, at least not at this time. He needs to find out more about the conspiracy involving the prince and decide on his next move.
After speaking with the prince, Requiem left the palace via a meandering shortcut and was hidden behind the buildings around the palace. He walked towards the place where he hid his dark horse and immediately climbed onto it. The horse continued to run quickly towards the forest.
Requiem pondered on his way, trying to make sense of the situation he had just faced. He still did not know if he could trust the prince, but what he saw and heard in the palace showed that something was not right.
After some time, Requiem arrived at a quiet and silent forest. He gently controlled his dark horse and walked along the path hidden within the forest. He knew the route he had to take to reach the city where he would meet his new ally.
As he approached the city, Requiem saw several suspicious figures lurking around. He instantly realized that they were secret agents who had been following him ever since he left the palace. He tried not to show any signs that he was aware of their existence and continued walking towards the city.
When he arrived at the city, Requiem immediately searched for a safe hiding place. He knew that he had to remain vigilant and careful while searching for his new ally. After a while of walking, he finally found a small inn hidden in a corner of the city.
He entered the inn and booked a room for himself. He immediately checked the room to make sure nothing was suspicious. After making sure the room was safe, Requiem decided to take a short break before meeting with his allies.
However, while he was resting, Requiem felt that something was amiss. He felt a suspicious aura around him. He immediately got up from his bed and opened the door of the room.
It turned out, outside the room, there was a knight who was lurking. Requiem is instantly ready to fight back, but the knight suddenly informs him that he is his new ally who is already picked up by the secret agent and wants to team up with him to uncover the conspiracy going on.
Requiem was relieved and willing to cooperate with the knight. He knew that he could not complete this task alone and needed help from people he could trust. The two new allies promise to help each other and uncover the truth.
The place looks lonely. He walked quickly, but suddenly felt something strange around him. He felt that he was not alone.
Requiem soon realized that he was being followed. He paused and fumbled behind her, figuring out who was following him. Suddenly, someone emerged from the darkness and attacked him.
Requiem dodged and drew his sword. He was ready to fight anyone who tried to attack him. But then, he recognized who attacked him. It was Lusca, a knight from a neighboring kingdom whom he knew well.
"Lusca, what are you doing here?" asked Requiem in a suspicious tone.
"I have important news for you, Requiem," Lusca replied in seriousness. "I know who gave you the task of killing the prince."
Requiem was surprised to hear this. He did not expect that Lusca would know of this secret. He tried to stay calm and not show his emotions.
"Who?" ask Requiem.
Lusca glanced to the right and to the left before replying, "I can't tell you here. This place is not safe. Follow me."
Lusca leads Requiem to a small alley hidden among the old buildings. They entered a small, dark room, and Lusca lit a torch to light the room.
"I got this information from a secret agent," Lusca said as she handed a paper roll to Requiem. "This is the name of the person who gave you the task and the amount of the payment. It's also the names of the people who are behind this conspiracy."
Requiem read the paper carefully. He did not know the name of the person who gave him the task, but he recognized some of the names listed there. They are the people in power in the kingdom who are given their duties. He concluded that the task was not only about killing princes, but also about changing the power dynamics among those kingdoms.
Requiem nodded. He knew that he had to act quickly before it was too late. He folded the paper and put it in his bag.
"Thank you, Lusca. I won't forget your help" Requiem said sincerely.
Lusca just smiled and nodded. "Be careful out there, Requiem. The world is dangerous."
Requiem walked out of the small room and returned to the street. He was relieved to be able to leave the palace and stay away from all the political pressure and conspiracies that were going on there. However, he also felt uneasy because he did not know what to do next.
After walking for a while, Requiem arrived at a quiet and quiet cafe. He ordered a cup of coffee and sat down at a table in the corner of the room. Requiem looked around, trying to ease his anxiety.
Suddenly, a young woman approached the Requiem table and sat down on the chair in front of her. The woman watched Requiem closely, and then smiled. "Are you looking for something?" tanyakanya.
Requiem was suspicious of the woman's presence. "I don't need any help" he replied, sipping a coffee.
However, the woman did not back down. "I hear you're the best hit man in town" he said. "I have a task that might interest you."
Requiem looked up and looked at the woman tightly. "What's that job?" tanyakanya.
The woman smiled again. "There is a man who needs to be eliminated" the woman said. "He was a very dangerous criminal and had a lot of power and influence throughout the city. This job will definitely pay well."
Requiem pondered for a moment, considering the offer. Although he actually wanted to forget all sorts of tasks for a while, he knew that he could not miss the opportunity to earn a lot of money. "Alright," said Requiem at last. "I'll do it."
The woman smiled back. "Very good," he said. "I'll tell you more details about this assignment tomorrow night at the same place."
After the woman left, Requiem pondered for a moment about his new assignment. He did not know what he was facing, but he was ready to face any challenges that lay before him. He just hopes he won't find himself caught up in conspiracies and politics like before.
Carefully, Requiem walked away from the place and tried to calm himself down. He must think clearly and evaluate the situation he is facing.
After a while, Requiem arrived at the palace gate and went out into the crowded street. He decided to look for the nearest inn and thought of his next move.
After walking for a few minutes, Requiem found a small inn suitable for staying. He paid for the inn with the money he received from his duties and booked a room.
Upon arriving at the room, Requiem took off his black robe and sat on the bed. He took out a letter given by the prince from his shirt pocket and read it back.
In the letter, the prince asks Requiem for help to stop the King's evil plans. Requiem took a deep breath. This was not the usual murder duty he accepted.
Requiem felt confused and scared. He didn't know how, but he knew that he had to do something to stop the King and save the kingdom.
After pondering for a while, Requiem decided to start an investigation about the King and his plans. He felt that he had to gather more information before acting.
Requiem took his sword and walked out of the room. He decides to look for the first source of information that can help him, a secret agent he knows by the name of "The Sparrow".
The Sparrow is a well-known secret agent who has very valuable information. However, he was also very difficult to find and not easy to approach.
Requiem decides to go to the place where he last met The Sparrow, which is in a small cafe in the corner of the city.
After a while of walking, Requiem arrived at the cafe. He was sitting at the same table where he had last met The Sparrow.
Suddenly, someone sat down beside him and said, "For a long time no see, Requiem."
Requiem turned his head and saw the face of The Sparrow which had now changed drastically from the face he had once known.
After walking for a few minutes, Requiem arrived at the edge of the city and saw a small inn in front of him. He decided to stay there for a while. As soon as he entered the inn, he booked a room and asked for some food.
When the food arrived, Requiem sat down and thought of everything that had happened. He knew that he had to take action immediately and decided to seek more information about what was going on in the kingdom.
After eating, Requiem went to a bookstore and bought some books on the history of the kingdom and magical powers. He also bought several books on martial arts to improve his abilities in combat.
Afterwards, he looked for a small cafe and ordered a cup of coffee. He sat there and started reading his books. While he was reading, he found some interesting information about the kingdom and its history. He also found several books on magical arts that really caught his attention.
Requiem continued to study his books until the cafe closed. Then, he returned to his inn and slept soundly, ready to face whatever would happen tomorrow.
