Assassin's Requiem
Volume 3, Chapter 5: New Allies

Requiem stood on the roof of a building, observing the movements of the prince from a distance. He grasped the knife and watched every step of his target closely. The prince had fled to a palace located in the middle of the forest, and Requiem had been waiting here for a few days to find an opportunity to attack.

While Requiem continued to pay attention, he sensed that there was someone next to him. Without turning away, he prepared a knife and stared warily at the direction of the voice.

"I am not your enemy" said one man, whom Requiem recognized as a knight from the same kingdom as the prince he was after. "I've come to help."

Requiem took a deep breath and threw the knife to the ground. "I work alone" he said firmly.

"You may already be legendary as an assassin, but you won't be able to face all your enemies alone" the knight retorted. "I am a secret agent from the same kingdom as the prince you are after. I know about the conspiracy going on, and I want to help uncover the truth."

Requiem pondered for a moment, assessing the confidence in the knight. Finally, he nodded in agreement. "alright. We'll work together."

The knight smiled with relief. "My name is Valen."

Requiem simply nodded without revealing his name.

The two of them rushed towards the palace inhabited by the prince. When they got there, they saw that the prince was being surrounded by a group of powerful and dangerous witches. Requiem and Valen infiltrate the palace and rescue the prince from the witch's pursuit.

However, they realize that the witches are part of a larger conspiracy to take over the royal throne. Requiem and Valen must obtain further information and uncover the truth behind the conspiracy. They gathered important evidence, which showed that the conspiracy involved highly influential people within the kingdom, including the prince's real father.

Requiem and Valen devise a plan to confront the masterminds behind the conspiracy, but they realize they cannot do it alone. The two enlist the help of new allies, including an old witch and another secret agent.

They plan an attack on a conspiracy base, a castle located by the sea. They managed to defeat the enemy outside the castle and managed to get inside. Inside the castle, they discover that the conspiracy is bigger than they imagined. There are many people involved in this conspiracy, including some members of the royal family and high-ranking officials from several countries.

Requiem and his team are trying to gather enough evidence to dismantle the conspiracy. They must fight to avoid the security of the castle and overcome the various traps and obstacles they encounter.

In the midst of a fierce battle, Requiem discovered that there was one person among them who was there with a different intent. That person was a secret agent from one of the enemy countries who was trying to take advantage of this situation for their own benefit.

Requiem managed to persuade the agent to join them and fought to end the conspiracy. After fighting desperately, they finally managed to find sufficient evidence and reveal the conspiracy to the public.

The conspirators were found guilty and tried in accordance with the law. The accused prince was eventually acquitted of false charges. Requiem and his team managed to save the world from the evil that almost destroyed it.

But not everything ends well. Requiem lost some of his friends and allies during the mission. He realizes that not all struggles can be won and that sacrifice is part of a hitman's life. He decided to live the rest of his life more carefully and with more respect for the friendship he had.

After successfully completing his task, Requiem returns to his life as a hitman. However, he could not shake the memories of the sacrifice of his friends during their last mission.

After some time, Requiem got the task that caught his attention. A powerful sorcerer asks for help to solve a problem that threatens the entire world. Requiem felt that he should help in this situation and decided to cooperate with the witch.

As they travel, Requiem discovers that the witch is a very different person from everyone he has met before. The witch had immense magical power, but also had an excellent and affectionate heart. Requiem began to feel impressed by the witch's courage and kindness.

However, their mission was not an easy one. They must face off against evil beings who are stronger than anything they have ever encountered before. Requiem and the witch must fight desperately to save the world from destruction.

Finally, they managed to defeat the evil creatures and save the world. Requiem felt satisfied and relieved after completing his task. He felt that he had done something good and helped save many lives.

Afterwards, Requiem decided to live with more respect for friendship and kindness. He decides to use his skills as a hit man just for decent chores and ensure that he always works with a good team. He promises to keep doing the right thing and help people who need help.

After making observations for some time, they found a gap in the enemy's defense and launched a surprise attack. Requiem and his allies stormed the castle with a quick and tactical attack, taking over every room with incredible speed and precision.

The enemy guards were unable to resist the combined forces of Requiem and his allies, and they managed to capture the leader of the conspiracy and destroy their base of operations. However, just as they were about to leave the castle, they found themselves faced with a larger army of enemies who had come as reinforcements.

Requiem and his allies are trapped inside the castle, besieged by a larger and stronger enemy force. They fight hard to survive and fight the enemy forces, while looking for a way to escape the critical situation.

As the fight heats up, Requiem begins to feel a great mental pressure and almost gives up. However, seeing the loyalty and fighting spirit of his allies that never subsided, he realized that he was not a lone assassin, but part of a strong and united team.

However, when he almost manages to find the King, he is faced with a difficult choice: kill the King or leak the conspiracy plan to the public. After a while filled with doubt and consideration, Requiem finally chose to divulge the conspiracy plan.

News of the conspiracy was exposed and the King resigned from the throne, thus making the political atmosphere in the kingdom more stable. Requiem was recognized for his important role in dismantling the conspiracy, and was given a well-deserved award. He decides to leave the world of murder and live with the freedom he wants.

Requiem returned to his usual place and began to live quietly. However, that calm did not last long. She receives a message from a mysterious woman who asks for her help to save her daughter who was kidnapped by the group of traitors left over from a previous conspiracy. Requiem knew he had to help, because he couldn't let an innocent person become a victim anymore.

With the skills and ingenuity he had developed over the years, Requiem managed to save the woman's daughter and destroy the group of traitors once and for all. After this, Requiem decides to leave the world of murder and go somewhere far and unknown to start his new life. He knew that this world would never be truly peaceful, but he decided to enjoy his freedom and look forward, ready to face whatever was to come.
