In the car, Clarissa looked at Emily unhappily.

"Stop being nice to me. Do you think this attitude of yours will make Jeremy like you and change his mind to keep you by his side?" ask Clarissa.

Huh... Emily didn't know whether to laugh or get angry at this time. Just as she expected, this girl was unhappy with Emily's closeness to her own husband.

'Clarissa, don't you trust my oath?' cue Emily.

"Who would believe that oath? I'm sure that's just your excuse to stall your farewell. I'm warning....."

'Clarissa, you're so young.' Emily's signal cuts off Clarissa's words.

Emily did that on purpose. There was a bodyguard assigned by Jeremy to stand guard outside the car, and Clarissa's voice began to rise. It was not good for the guards to hear what they were talking about, especially what Clarissa wanted to say.

"What do you mean?" clarissa asked quietly after Emily hinted to lower her tone.

'I don't want to say anything to this. But I hope you stop worrying about unnecessary things, ' cue Emily.

"How can I trust you?" ask Clarissa's dilemma.

'I don't love Jeremy, and will never love a man who loves another woman.' Emily waved her hand with a stern look.

Clarissa clenched her hand.

"Are you insinuating me?" the accusation. Emily nodded quickly. This girl was quickly offended.

'I just want to explain to you, not insinuate you. Don't worry, Jeremy is yours. I had absolutely no intention of living together with her.' her cue.

Clarissa squinted her eyes. He couldn't believe Emily's words.

Jeremy is a very handsome and great man. Wherever it is, it will always attract the attention of the women. Clarissa believes that all women in the world must be fascinated and want to be Jeremy's wife.

But why wouldn't Emily want to? Is it not that apart from having problems with her voice, Emily also has problems with her eyes? Clarissa has learned that Jeremy and Emily are married. If they refuse to marry or decide to divorce, then all the inheritance that should belong to them, will be given to orphanages and nursing homes.

Clarissa is still very sure

"But until when? Answer me, until when will you continue to be by his side? When are you going to go from Jeremy's side?" freddie Emily is impatient.

Emily's explanation left Clarissa speechless and lowered her head. Obviously, Jeremy never told her anything. She herself was confused, why had Jeremy never been so open to her? The man just said to always trust her, that's all.

Emily who noticed Clarissa's reaction let out a sigh. He patted the girl on the shoulder.

'If you don't believe what I'm saying, you can ask Dr. Darren or Mr. Wawan. They can't possibly lie to you.' Emily's gesture made Clarissa nod. Too bad this innocent girl, she's so easily taken advantage of by Jeremy. However, Emily can't do much to help him either. Aside from Jeremy's threats, this girl is also quite stubborn about her love for Jeremy.

'Patience. Six months is a very short time, Emily continued.

The two of them then both fell silent, preoccupied with their respective thoughts. They didn't make a sound for long enough, until Emily almost fell asleep. And suddenly there was a noise coming from inside the building. Emily and Clarissa sat straight up.

They saw people scattering out while shouting,

"YAHHH!!!! THE FIRE!! FIRE!!!"

"What's going on?" clarissa asked worriedly. He pulled his head out of the car window, then immediately widened his eyes when he saw thick smoke coming out of the building where Jeremy was.

"Jeremy.." her voice trembled because she could not control her emotions. He rushes to open the car door and is about to get out, to make Emily panic.

Emily quickly pulls her hand, but it makes Clarissa angry.

"What are you doing? Release him!! I have to save Jeremy!!" clarissa snapped and pulled her hand violently away from Emily's grip, and quickly ran into the crowd.

Damnit damnit! fr Emily. What was the girl thinking? What does he think with his tiny body, he can save Jeremy who is martial arts and accustomed to facing the enemy?

People ran outside, and Clarissa ran inside. Isn't it dangerous for him, because he could have been pushed down. Emily rushed out and pulled the hands of the two bodyguards to follow Clarissa.

The two bodyguards tried hard to break through the crowd, paving the way for Emily. And right Emily's guess, right now Clarissa is being pushed by the crowd. He fell and was trampled by people running out to save themselves from the fires.

The girl screamed in pain but no one cared because there were some who fell and all were in a panic.

Emily could not bear to see her and quickly helped the girl was helped by both guards. When they managed to save him, his condition was not very good. His clothes were dirty, his face was injured, and there were some bruises on his arms and legs. But the girl refused to be saved.

"Let go of me!! I have to save Jeremy!" his yell.

Of course the two bodyguards did not comply with his request.

"Calm down, Miss Clarissa. Young Master is not an arbitrary person. Young Master Jeremy will be fine. After all, there were many guards standing guard inside. They must be protecting the Young Master." said one of the guards trying to calm him down.

"No!! I don't trust you until I see it for myself! I said, let me go!" he shouted while rebelling.

Emily's really worried about this stubborn girl. He hints to the bodyguards to take Clarissa to safety. They don't know how severe the fire is in there, just in case the building collapses on them.
