Although nervous, Emily tried to make a smile on her face. How could he not realize that he was being followed? Why is Jeremy following him?
'I was just looking around.' Emily's cue.
"You're going too far" said Jeremy, still suspicious.
Emily breathed. Indeed, he was eager to go as far as possible. But he then tried to think clearly, it would be very strange if he disappeared suddenly. It is better to follow the initial plan.
Emily walks up to Jeremy, and spontaneously stops when she sees something wrong. There was something twinkling in the sunlight behind the trees. She watched carefully and realized that it was a gun pointed at her husband.
Emily could think of nothing but doing what she thought was right. He rushes to jump and pushes Jeremy until both fall, coinciding with the gun holder pulling the trigger, making his shot miss.
Jeremy then wakes up and helps Emily stand up when suddenly a group of people wearing headgear block their path.
"Who are you?!?" jeremy asked furiously, even though he already knew that this must have been the mane of his enemies.
Jeremy protects Emily behind him. The men numbered about a dozen, maybe fifteen or so, and were all armed. Jeremy believes they are trained men and he cannot win against them, especially with Emily who must be protected by him.
Jeremy has no other choice, he turns to hug and lift Emily's tiny body, then jumps onto a cliff. Her actions left Emily very shocked and panicked, making her unable to bear to scream. Emily cursed and cursed Jeremy in her heart. How could this man take him jumping from the top of this very high cliff?
The two of them just fell into the river which was very heavy. Emily could not swim, she went into the water and drank so much water. Emily thought she would die.
Jeremy didn't let go of his grip on Emily's body at all. However, the river currents were so swift that they were difficult to reach the banks of the river. Emily could think of nothing else but she was really going to die today.
However, Emily's thinking is wrong, because it turns out that after being carried away for a long time, Jeremy managed to bring Emily to the riverbank in a collapsed condition.
Jeremy pressed Emily's chest to draw out the water he swallowed. Once it felt enough, he lay down next to Emily to rest. His power was completely drained. The two of them lay by the river in the middle of a very quiet wilderness.

Emily regained her senses first and found Jeremy beside her lying blindfolded. Either falling asleep or fainting. Emily looked around, then remembered the incident. He was grateful not to die.
Emily looked back at Jeremy who was still faithful to close his eyes. Doesn't this guy hate her and not care about her? Didn't this man consider him a thorn in his life? Wasn't his life nothing to this man? Even before the deal, Jeremy always wanted to kill him. Then why didn't Jeremy let him die killed those people? Even this man did not let her die in the river either.
Many questions came to Emily's mind until she fell asleep again.
Jeremy opened his eyes slowly when he heard the sound of birds chirping. He looked around and there were only trees around. He began to vaguely remember what had happened. The assailants must have been a man of one of his enemies. His memory was impaired as he felt pain in his leg. Just as he was about to wake up, he saw Emily beside him and was staring at him. Ah right, he remembered, he had decided to jump with his wife.
Jeremy then went back to trying to get up, but the pain in his leg was getting worse. It seems like his leg accidentally hit a rock and it might have cracked or broken bones. His feet look swollen.
'Don't force yourself. Your leg is injured and swollen. Hopefully not broken. I'm not an expert in medicine and there's no medicine here. But I once saw a man with a broken leg and his parents tied his leg to the wood.
Jeremy sighed just as he felt pain, he also felt something strange about his feet. It turned out that his legs were flanked by two sticks of wood. Emily turned out to be pretty bad at this. Jeremy chose to let it go.
Emily looked at Jeremy who had been silent before, and then tried to ask again,
Jeremy just nodded. Emily looked around, then looked back at Jeremy.
'Do you know where we are now?' tanyanya through her hand signal.
Jeremy stared at the huge trees that surrounded them.
"I've never been to this place before. But, I hope, it's not too far from the residential area." he said. Then he turned to Emily with an annoyed look.
"It's all your fault!! Why did you walk so far?" tanyanya annoyed.
Emily looked at him silently. He didn't want to hear Jeremy grumble.
"Where are you going?" jeremy asked as he saw Emily suddenly rise to her feet.
'I want to go see if there's someone who can help us or maybe there's something to eat. I'm getting hungry.' cue Emily.
"Wait a minute, I'll come with you" Jeremy said as he tried to get up but his legs hurt a lot.
"Damn it!" objurgation.
'It's okay. You better rest here, I'll go alone' Emily's cue calms her down.
Jeremy hates his helpless self like this.
"Are you sure you're going? What if the people were chasing us or there might be a beast here. Aren't you afraid of being ripped apart by them?" ask Jeremy sarcas.
Hearing the man's words, Emily immediately became annoyed. He looked at Jeremy with annoyance.
'Do you think I am so weak?' lambain.
"What?" Jeremy's stunned.
'Do you think I'm that weak?' cue Emily repeated her question.
Jeremy's speechless. He felt like he had said something wrong.
'As you know, the one who took you from the river bank to this place is me. Alone. So, please don't always think negatively about me.' Emily gestured while pointing at her.
'Besides, those people are unlikely to chase us all the way to this place. They must have thought that we were dead in the river. And also, whether or not there are wild beasts, I cannot possibly just sit here quietly and die of hunger.
After that, Emily then immediately turned away. He didn't give Jeremy a chance to talk.
