Emily, The Mute Girl

Emily, The Mute Girl
Should I Kill Him?

Finished saying everything, Emily turned her body around.

"So so? Is it in your eyes that I'm so dirty?" ask Jeremy suddenly.

Emily turned her head and saw Jeremy looking at her with anger on his face.

"In your eyes I'm so dirty, aren't I? So what do I have to do to clean myself up? Tell me, Emily. What am I supposed to do? Should I kill him?" ask Jeremy. Emily widened her eyes. Whahuh?

"Should I kill him?" jeremy asked.

'What do you mean?' emily's cue didn't understand.

Jeremy rubbed his son's back hair, looking at Emily with a sharp look.

"You don't like it, do you? So, should I kill him?"

Jordan's body became stiff, his embrace of his father became tight. He was shocked to hear his father's words just now. Was his father going to kill him just because this woman didn't like him?

Emily was more surprised than Jordan. He clenched his hands tightly. Is this guy serious about what he says?

"Emily, why are you just quiet? Answer me, should I kill him because you don't like him?" Jeremy kept repeating his question and then approached Emily and thrust Jordan at her. Emily walks backwards and Jeremy keeps following her until her back is hit by a wall. Jeremy smiled at me.

"The fate is in your hands. Are you gonna let him get killed by me?"

Emily was confused as to what decision she should make. Previously he had seen Jeremy do his son lovingly, but now he threatened him to take the boy's life. Emily doesn't want to take the child away from her mother, but she also fears the possibility that Jeremy will act out of his right mind. Eventually he decides to take Jordan out of Jeremy's hands and take her into his arms. The child's body trembled in fear, making Emily feel guilty that the child had to go through such a situation.

"A very good decision, Emily. You almost made a father a villain" Jeremy said with a satisfied smile.

Emily chose to ignore the man's words. Jeremy himself felt sick to see his son scared, he was not really serious with his words and just wanted to bully Emily. He had to get his son close to Emily.

"You know, Emily. Today I am very happy" he said. Emily ignored him again, but Jeremy didn't care.

"All right, I'll go so you can rest. And you're Jordan, be nice." Jeremy's message before stepping out after seeing his son nod.

Haaaah.. After Jeremy left, Emily immediately sat on the edge of her bed while breathing a sigh of relief. He looked at the boy who was now sitting on his lap. The boy kept on looking down in fear. Although he was still very small, but he understood very well what his father said. Killed him... Emily was sorry, she didn't think Jeremy would say such a crazy thing. Had he accepted Jordan, the boy would not have been this scared.

Emily drew back and threw her breath away. Then cupped Jordan's two cheeks to stare at him. He wanted to apologize but realized that the boy did not understand sign language. Finally he asked for help Ferry who had been standing still at the scene watching everything.

"My mom says she's sorry for scaring you. So, don't be afraid anymore" said Ferry translating.

"My mom also said your dad didn't really want to kill you. Your father was just joking with his words, so don't take it seriously." Ferry continued.

Emily moved her hand asking Jordan not to cry, but the tears of the boy just flowed.

"Say my father, hiks.he hiks..he will kill me hiks..if you do not like me hiks...hiks.." he said sobbing.

Emily felt her heart ache hearing that. He shook his head and rubbed the child's face with a gentle smile.

"My mom said your dad wouldn't do it. Your father was just lying. After all, my mom liked you from the beginning" Ferry said, translating Emily's cue.

"really? You like me so my dad won't kill me?" jordan asked happily when she heard that. He started to stop crying. Emily nodded quickly.

"of course. Who wouldn't like a kid as funny as you?" said Ferry as a translator.

"I like you too" he added.

At the same time, in a forest, a middle-aged man goes with his son to find a beehive. It was already daytime but the man seemed to be still excited while his son was already tired. He looked at his father unhappily. His father was the only real honey seller in his village, and wanted him to continue his father's business. But he actually didn't want to do it. He hates having to bother looking for beehives in the forest, not to mention the difficulty of lowering beehives that are usually in very high places. The boy resentfully kicked the small rocks that were in front of him. The stone was thrown towards the river beside them, and made him shout in great shock and fear.

"YESYOOOO!!!"

The stone he kicked accidentally hit the body of someone who was stuck in the river rocks. Either dead or alive. They rushed to him to check.

"He's alive!" exclaimed the middle-aged man.

"Can you run home fast and call people to come here? I can't take him alone" the man told his son.

"I can, Father." replied the boy sure. He quickly ran to his village, and soon returned with a number of residents and security forces. Together they lifted up the wounded man's body. Apparently that person was Alvin, the flower delivery guy. While fighting Reno the aide to the president, Alvin realized he could not win, so he rushed to escape to the river and jumped into it to get carried away by the current.

Reno thinks with his condition, Alvin is unlikely to survive. Who would have thought, God still protects her. Alvin now lies critically in the village puskesmas vault. Several bullets lodged in his body have been removed. His family did not have enough money to take him to the hospital in the city. They only hoped for the miracle of the Almighty for Alvin's recovery, so that he could tell what had really happened to him.

"What bad luck has befallen him? His wounds look terrible. Can he survive?" ask the man who found Alvin to the doctor who treated him.

"I don't know." replied the doctor.

"How did you not know. You're a doctor."

"I'm a doctor, not God. I just do what I can, then go back to God's will."
