"I'm not part of the men you mentioned" said Jeremy coldly.
"I don't want to hurt her heart. But you destroyed everything. You forced me to marry you, the woman I didn't want at all."
Clarissa's heart was torn to shreds hearing those words. Without thinking twice, he said angrily,
"You said you didn't want to hurt her, do you think she loved you so much that she would feel hurt watching you with me? You know, if he really loved you, he would fight for his love just as I fight for your love. But what, he just let you go and gave you to me! Even the crazy idea of pretending to be sick and die comes from it! He doesn't love you! That's why he disappeared and went into hiding, he doesn't want to be found by you! Jeremy, the only person who loves you sincerely is me! Just me!!"
PLAQUE!!!
Clarissa flinched and felt dizzy when she suddenly slapped Jeremy. He could barely stand up properly, yet he tried to hold on. Holding his reddened cheek, he looked at Jeremy with a pus.
"Stop talking and stop saying nonsense!!" snapped Jeremy.
"Why did you slap me? Is it because you just realized and couldn't accept the fact that he didn't love you and just left you?" clarissa asked with teary eyes.
Jeremy growled furiously, his blood boiling hearing every word this woman in front of him said.
"You don't know anything" said Jeremy slowly and then chose to leave Clarissa before he did any worse.
It's free, whatever she does, Emily's not here in the end. Jeremy doesn't want to argue with Clarissa anymore. The woman knows nothing. In the past, Clea liked her, and so did Emily, she was sure the mute girl would have liked her too, otherwise why would she kiss her cheek that day before she left?
Meanwhile, when Jeremy leaves, Clarissa can't support her body anymore. He fell on the cold floor, crying alone there with his heart broken to pieces. Everyone thought she was the lucky lady for being the wife of the number one person in this country. They do not know, every day he was always tormented in his heart. The public is fooled by the photos and their friendly attitude that is seen in public, it is the same as in the past, people are fooled by the closeness of Emily and Jeremy.
Outside, Jeremy sits on a chair drinking a cold drink he picked up before heading out. He tried to calm his anger through the drink. On a whim, he opened his cell phone and explored his social media. Suddenly his eyes bulged, he immediately stood from his place when he saw a video post of one of his employees in the company. He almost dropped his phone if he didn't hold it firmly.
Jeremy replayed the video. Some of the men and women who seemed to be his employee friends were getting off the boat. Their expressions looked amazed by the circumstances around the beach that looked clean and beautiful. The video then turns towards the fishermen who are lowering the fish from the boat. Then the video turns to the vehicle the employee is riding to where they are going. The employee seemed to really like the scenery in the village that looks still beautiful and culturally full. The video then shows the side of the road through which their vehicle passes. His employees holding cameras were heard asking the man who took them to stop his vehicle when he saw a store selling a variety of flowers. Lily Florist's. Jeremy read the note as the employee's camera was pointed at a board in front of the store. As the camera gets closer to someone welcoming his group of employees at the store, Jeremy's body stiffens. He stopped the video and enlarged the screen.
With a raging feeling in his chest, he calls Lukas, his most loyal assistant in the company to ask about where his employees recorded the video. It did not take long, Luke again sent him a message containing the name and location of the place.
Jeremy read the short message.
Jeremy grins. He finally knew where Emily was. He called Lukas.
"Buy the house and car and give it to the employee who gave the information. Raise his salary too. If you can, promote him to rise to office this year" said Jeremy who succeeded in making Lukas stunned there.
But Luke had no time to ask, because Jeremy had already turned off his phone call. He could only take a deep breath and do as Jeremy told him.
"A very lucky employee." murmured Luke.
In his place, Jeremy was eager to jump for joy. He wanted to go to the village tonight to pick up Emily, but he knew it was impossible. Remembering he is now a president who cannot go anywhere at will. With his duties as head of state and the many important meetings that have been scheduled, Jeremy must refrain. He made plans to visit the remote area, and two weeks later he was able to get there.

The clock shows at seven p.m., Emily and Ferry strolling around the village in search of food stalls that are open at night. Their work has been very tiring the last few days, considering that tomorrow is the arrival of the President. They saw that the village was well prepared to welcome his arrival. The streets are cleaned and the lights are installed at some point. The parents also let their children to have fun playing outside tonight.
"Lilly!" alvin's beacon called out to him, making Emily and Ferry turn their heads and see the young man approaching them.
"Do you want to eat out tonight?" tanyakanya.
Emily nodded.
'How about you? Are you done with work?' cue Emily asked.
Alvin scratched his head before answering with a smile.
"Yes, I just finished work."
Ferry squinted his eyes at Alvin's attitude. Although he was a child, he knew that this young man was interested in his adoptive mother. Previously, he had seen so many men interested in his mother, but none of them had managed to get his heart.
At that time, when Aunt Liana was still there, she asked what kind of man Emily liked, but Emily just shook her head and rejected all the proposals that came to her.
