Emily, The Mute Girl

Emily, The Mute Girl
Mother

While Emily and Ferry were conversing, a waiter came knocking on the door.

"Mrs, Young Master Jordan is here to see the Madam" said the maid.

Haaah... The boy came to see him again. From that day on, the boy started to like him. Emily let Ferry open the door for Jordan.

"Mother!" Jordan exclaimed and ran excitedly towards Emily as soon as the door opened. He immediately went up to his lap. Emily always asks Jordan to call her "Tante", but the boy rejects her.

"Have you finished studying today?" Ferry asked Emily's translation of the question, because Jordan didn't really understand sign language.

"Yes, I'm done studying and I'm here soon. I miss you, Mother." Jordan said, hugging Emily tightly. Ferry scrunched his forehead, they met every day but this kid always said that he missed Emily.

"Mother, let's play outside" Jordan asked. In the past, he often asked Clarissa to play in the park, but the First Lady refused him and asked him not to do things that he thought were useless. In fact, Jordan was eager to play as the servant children did with their parents. Actually, Clarissa didn't want to play with him. Let alone play, to hug him alone is very difficult because Clarissa does not like spoiled children. But Jordan loved a warm hug. She often felt sad when her mother refused. But not anymore. Now he has a Mother who always smiles sweetly at him, returning his embrace even happy to hold him. Something he couldn't get from the First Lady. Jordan is happy that her father brought a mother for her.

While Emily who heard the question, remembered that since she came to this place, she had never come out. Ferry must also feel bored, it looks like coming out for a while is not a problem. Emily then nodded making Jordan cheer up happily.

"Mom said, wear your jacket properly. Beyond the wind is very strong" said Ferry advising according to Emily hinted. He helped Jordan wear his jacket well, so that the boy would not get cold. Emily held the children's hands on either side, then walked out followed by several servants behind her. They were playing around in the park that was behind the State Palace.

Jeremy had just taken a break from his presidential routine and was about to meet Emily, when he saw them playing cheerfully in the park. After a few days in the room, Emily went out to play with her son. It seems like the decision to get Emily to like her son first was the right one. The sight made Jeremy want to meet them, but he immediately stopped his footsteps when he remembered the possibility that Emily's mood would change and the woman would enter his room again. Finally he just looked at them from a distance, then returned to continue his duties.

On the other hand, Clarissa's health condition has declined slightly since Emily's arrival to her National Palace. The feeling of anger, disappointment and sadness mixed into one made him fall ill and required him to take a complete rest.

Clarissa, the First Lady was ill, but neither the President nor her son came to see her in the room. This makes Della wonder what happened. He doesn't care much about the President, but he questions Jordan, who, since Emily's come, has never shown his nose in his mother's room again. And now the question was answered when he saw Jordan and Emily playing in the park. Even Jordan looked so happy that his laughing voice sounded so cheerful. The boy, his mother, was lying sick but he was having fun with other people. Della clenched her hands tightly as she looked at Emily from afar, the woman was very cunning, she knew how to snatch and distract someone from Clarissa.

"Mother, look! I managed to do it!" jordan cheers happily when he manages to make a collage of insect-shaped foliage. However, upon seeing and comparing his work to Ferry's, he became sullen and felt his own was too ugly.

Colase made by Jordan

Jordan wants to complain to Emily, but he hasn't had a chance to get his word out yet, he sees his Grandma, Della, approaching them.

"Grandmother Della!"

Emily turned to Della as Jordan ran over to the woman she called Grandma. Emily did not know Clarissa's family, therefore, she just fell silent in her place.

"Grandmother, look what I did with Mother and Brother Ferry. Collage!! Grandma should see it!" said Jordan slightly yelling out of pleasure. In addition to her father, she was also close to her Grandmother, but her Grandmother was more often taking care of Mother Clarissa. Della furrowed her brows at Jordan's call.

"What do you call him?" tanyakanya.

"Mother. Dad took her and told me to call her that. Dad said she was my mother." Jordan replied innocently, not realizing the change in her Grandma's face.

Della gritted her teeth. Jeremy would do this to his nephew. Did she ever think about the feelings of Clarissa, Jordan's mother? How could she have made another woman the mother of the child that Clarissa conceived and born? Della turned to look at Emily with an angry look. Why did this mute woman take that call for granted? Does he not feel guilty at all?

"grandmother.. What's up?" jordan asks when she feels something is wrong with Della, making Della stop looking at Emily and turn to Jordan, then crouch in front of her.

"Little Young Master.. Grandma wanted to ask you, why the last few days, have you not come to see the First Lady? She is your Mother, does Little Young Master not know that your Mother is currently sick?" della asked trying to normalize her tone.

Jordan was silent to hear it. Before Emily came to the State Palace, whenever she finished studying, she would visit her mother to greet her and hope to play with her, but her mother would only tell her to go back to study. In fact, if he was a little fussy and whining, his mother would have told the maid to take him out. Jordan really wanted to be with his mother, but the mother's refusal made him feel uncomfortable and sad in his heart. Therefore, ever since her Mother Emily came and wanted to play with her, she began to stop visiting Mother Clarissa. But, at this moment when he heard the First Lady was sick, he became worried.

"Mother Country is sick?" he asked with a tone of not knowing anything. Hearing her question, Della's forehead shriveled.

"Do you really not know?" tanyakanya. Jordan nodded with a worried look.

"Didn't anyone tell you that the First Lady was sick?" Della asked again. This time Jordan nodded. That's right, no one told him. Della stared around, the servants looking down anxiously. The brand could not do anything, because the President himself forbade them to tell Jordan about the condition of the First Lady.
