Emily herself also has no answer to the question Jeremy asked. He doesn't know how to explain it. Seeing Emily who was just silent, made Jeremy become impatient.

"Is my guess right? Are you really just pretending to be mute? Why did you do it?" jeremy's Lick.

Jeremy started thinking about many impossible things. Emily is someone her enemy has sent to finish her off.

Thinking of the possibility just now, made Jeremy almost lose control. He was just about to get angry when Emily suddenly opened her mouth. Emily pointed to the inside of her mouth and Jeremy could see for himself how her tongue was cut in half.

Emily did not lose her voice. He could not speak properly because his tongue was no longer intact. Emily had no idea how she could lose half her tongue. He once tried to speak but his words just sounded vague and messy. It made the person who heard it become uncomfortable, so from that moment on Emily never let out her voice again. Jeremy was really surprised to see Emily's condition but Emily did not care much about her surprise. Emily then tried to explain through sign language.

'S**my voice did not disappear at all but with the condition of my tongue like this, the words I said became vague and very unpleasant to hear. That's why I decided not to talk.'

Jeremy didn't say anything. It seemed like he was really shocked or might just be in shock. Emily smiled and looked at him and then into the dark forest.

'It looks like it's getting very late. I'm going to go in and rest now. You also don't stay out too long' cue Emily then get up and walk in. He doesn't need to help Jeremy like he did before, because he can walk on his own.

Emily turned to leave Jeremy without knowing that her husband was silent and shed tears.

A memory from the past that was always trying in his grave away from his mind, suddenly appeared in a row in his head. Forcing him to remember how he killed people for the first time. The memory gave him a deep torment when he remembered it.

Jeremy was 12 when he was involved in the murder of his father's eldest son. That year, Richard Charlos along with his grandparents, Marco Charlos and Chaterine, were on their way to take a vacation to Vil***la those in L. city. At that time, Alexander Charlos, his uncle Jeremy, {the second son of Marco Charlos}, wanted to take control of the entire property of the Charlos Clan and become their leader.

But because he did not marry because he liked the same sex, Marco Charlos appointed Antonio Charlos, Marco's first {son, Alex}'s older brother, as the leader and Alex was only given the power to lead a few small companies.

That of course makes Alex very dissatisfied****. S***one day, he finds a servant who really likes Antonio and has ambitions to be his wife. Alex then helps Margaretha, {name of the waiter}, to ride Antonio's basket and finally contain her seeds.

As expected, Antonio only married Margaretha in series and sent her to distant places****. Alex then pretends to offer help to keep an eye on Margaretha under the pretext that Margaretha could come back to disrupt their household.

Antonio agrees and assigns Alex to watch over Margaretha. He doesn't know that while there, Alex always instigates Margaretha so much that the woman hates Antonio and slowly loses her sanity. A few months later, Margaretha gave birth to Jeremy. Alex took the baby away. It was stressful and totally insane.

Jeremy was raised by Alex with hatred for Antonio. Alex concocts a lot of false stories to Jeremy that his mother went crazy for being dumped by his father.

Alex manipulates everything by showing a photo showing Antonio being involved in Margaretha's death.

"You want to avenge your mother, don't you? Jeremy, if you want to beat your father, you can't be weak. You must become stronger than your father. You have to kill him. That way, your mother's soul will calm down because her killer got the right payback." Alex told Jeremy at the time.

Jeremy, who had been blinded by anger, could not think clearly anymore. So when Alex asks him to kill Richard, Antonio{'s first }son, Jeremy agrees.

Because Alex said, with Richard dead, Antonio would break his heart. And he must need someone to inherit his entire fortune. And he would definitely acknowledge Jeremy as his son.

Because Alex knew, Rose Esmeralda could not conceive again after giving birth to their two twin daughters.

On that terrible night, it rained very hard. Richard's car with his grandparents passed through a lonely road on the side of the forest to the Villa. A perfect place to kill them. They were separated by a bodyguard car. It turns out that Alex has been working with the driver who brought Richard and his grandparents.

Jeremy was with Alex who was taking his men to the car. Little Jeremy stood in front of Richard. Her different brother mother with her was, crying shaking his head while looking at Jeremy with full of supplication.

"Please.. Don't kill me. You can have everything I have, but please don't kill me.." he asked. Unfortunately the whisper of the devil in Jeremy's heart is stronger than the bond of brotherhood. Slowly he pulled out a knife from behind his jacket and directly slashed at his brother's neck. While his grandparents had been killed first by Alex.

Unintentionally, the sin of murder against his brother was seen by a family who happened to be going down that path. The family pulls back the car and is about to run away but Alex's men move faster. They intercepted the car and forced the owner out.

That family is a happy family. A couple with their daughter who is a few years younger than Jeremy. Alex knows them because they are neighbors where Alex raised Jeremy. Their daughter is even good friends with Jeremy.

Alex, who does not want his crime to be known, is forced to kill the couple and then tell Jeremy to kill their daughter, Clea.

Jeremy didn't kill him because he didn't have the heart of his own best friend. So he just cut off the little girl's tongue so she couldn't tell him what she saw. Then force him to flee into the dark forest.

Jeremy thought he would never see his childhood best friend again. Years passed, even he tried to forget the incident as hard as he could and almost succeeded. However, how could he possibly forget the moment Emily opened her mouth and showed her a severed tongue?

Jeremy clenched both of his hands tightly, enduring the tightness in his chest. He stared at the closed door of the room where Emily had entered.
