Emily, The Mute Girl
Clarissa is not Patient

Pak Wawan and Lukas did not inform the public that Jeremy was missing, for fear that he would make the company's shares plummet and his business enemies attacked his company. Nor did they tell their parents and brothers. Finished telling the story, Pak Wawan then asked, saying,

"Young Master, what exactly is going on?" Jeremy then tells about the events that happened to them, without exception. He did not think that his enemy was chasing them there. Meanwhile, Pak Wawan came out to call Doctor Darren who is currently in the Mansion to check the condition of Jeremy's legs.

This morning, Emily felt very fit after a good night of rest. At this time he was standing watching a man who was cleaning the small garden inside the Mansion.

"His name is Gerald" said Doctor Darren, who was suddenly beside Emily, to her surprise.

Doctor Darren has since seen Emily continue to pay attention to the man she helped the other day. Emily leaned against the pole beside her.

'Who allowed him to work as a gardener here?' signal asked.

"Wawan and Aunt Liana told him to. His body condition is better. He himself asked to be given a job because it would not be nice to just stand still" replied Dr. Darren.

Seeing Emily who was just speechless as she continued to look at Gerald, Doctor Darren asked again,

"Did Young Miss not like it? Or is Young Miss interested in him? His face is very handsome."

Doctor Darren doesn't hesitate to ask that question because he knows that Jeremy and Emily don't love each other.

'I'm not interested in him. I'm just worried that the wound hasn't completely healed yet Emily's cue.

"Don't worry, Miss. I've made sure of her condition. He's fine." said Dr. Darren steadily.

This afternoon the sun shone with a blistering light. Gerald couldn't stand that. He raised his hand to wipe the sweat on his face. Her actions made her eyes collide with Emily's gaze. Gerald recognized Emily as Young Miss and the person who had helped her from the streets, because it had been shown her picture by Pak Wawan.

He also saluted from a distance which was returned with a smile by Emily who was not aware that the smile made a tremor in Gerald's heart.

Clarissa pulled Jeremy's hand when the man just came out of her room. Since yesterday afternoon he waited for the man to come himself to explain to him but Jeremy instead went to sleep. Jeremy and Emily both missed their dinner. This morning Clarissa could not be patient anymore.

"Jeremy, what happened to you two? Where have you been missing for a few days?" clarissa asked impatiently.

Although Jeremy always says that he does not love his wife and the closeness of the two is just a pretense for others not to be suspicious, but seeing their closeness yesterday Clarissa can not stop worrying and being suspicious.

"When I was looking for Emily at the lake, there were a lot of people who tried to kill me. They were carrying guns, so I was forced to jump with Emily into the river because I knew we couldn't beat them." Jeremy replied curtly with disdain.

He actually wanted to meet Emily and ask her about her condition while taking her to breakfast together. But Clarissa pulled it. This jealous girl sometimes made him unable to bear with his attitude.

Seeing Jeremy remain silent, Clarissa asked again,

"And why did you save Emily? If you just let him die there, we can...."

"Clarissa Eden!" Jeremy turned around and looked at Clarissa sharply making the girl stunned.

"Stop talking about this matter" Jeremy said sternly. She's not happy when Clarissa talks about Emily's death. It made his heart become angry but his mind made him realize that this girl in front of him still had important benefits for him.

"Why?" Clarissa asked with an increasingly erratic feeling. After all, from the very beginning they met, Jeremy had always been gentle with her. Why did it change in such a short time? Were Jeremy and Emily together for a few days, this man started to open his heart to his silent wife? Clarissa clenched both her hands firmly thinking about that.

"Did that cheap woman seduce you and you fall into her seduction?" accusation rough.

"What you're saying, Emily isn't...."

"It's okay? Look, you're even starting to defend him now." cut Clarissa.

"Jeremy, tell me who's more important to you, me or him? Why don't you let him die in the river and save him instead? Jeremy, if you leave there, we can both get married sooner or later...." Clarissa swallowed her saliva violently. He paused for a moment then lowered his head and said softly.

"A..Or do you no longer want to marry me and prefer her?"

Jeremy was silent for a moment when he heard a long question from Clarissa. At first, he hated the mute girl who was his wife. However, after remembering who Emily really is, she turns to hating herself. Jeremy took a breath then held both of Clarissa's shoulders. The young girl raised her face looking at Jeremy with teary eyes.

"I told you, don't worry about unnecessary things" Jeremy said. Then he lowered his head and whispered in his ear softly.

"You're going to be my wife."

Clarissa was stunned for a moment.

"really?" tanyakanya. Jeremy nodded in response.

Clarissa looked at him seriously.

"But when should I wait? How long are you gonna keep him here?"

Jeremy's speechless. Clarissa's question just happened again in her head. How long will he keep Emily here? To be honest, ever since returning from the forest where the old farmer lived, he had always thought of keeping Emily by his side as the old farmer had done to his stepmother. Jeremy touched Clarissa's hair gently.

"Patience for a moment. You better not think about or worry about useless things. You know exactly who I need between you and Emily" Jeremy said.

He has not been able to let Clarissa go because Clarissa is a stepping stone so that she can be above her father. Hearing that, Clarissa fell silent and asked nothing more. Jeremy then invited her to breakfast together.
