The Village Chief rubbed the sweat on his forehead as he looked at the mountain piles of paper. He finally managed to collect the data that the president wanted. The territory may not be as large as other areas in this country, but still the people who live and live in this village are not small.

"Actually, who is Mr President looking for in this village? Was that person so important to him that he wanted to find him himself?" ask the Village Chief's wife when helping her husband.

"Where do I know? We have prepared so many things to welcome his arrival as well as the lavish banquet, but it was in vain. Mr. President has already lost his appetite because of that person." replied the Village Chief listlessly.

"Do we also need to find out who the President is looking for?" ask his wife again.

"No! We better not interfere." replied the Village Chief while shaking his head.

His wife said again hesitantly,

"But, didn't Mr. Alex, the President's uncle, ask us to report what the president's done in this place?"

Gosh darn.. The words of his wife made the Village Chief feel dizzy. He did not stop sweating and anxiety, because he was trapped between two powerful people. On the one hand, he was afraid and respectful of the President, on the other he was also afraid of his Uncle President. But in the end, the Village Chief kept texting Alex about what President Jeremy was doing in the village. He could only pray and hope that it would not bring him any trouble.

In the evening, Jeremy was busy opening and reading the pile of paper that had been given by the Village Chief. It was almost midnight and he had not found what he was looking for. His adjutant was worried, so he tried to dare to say,

"Sorry, Mr. President. Tomorrow you have to go to see the construction of a power plant in this village. You rest, me and the others will do this work for you."

The adjutant's words made Jeremy stop his hand movements. He was silent for a moment thinking about the reason he used to come here. In addition to reviewing the construction of electrical infrastructure, he also had to review the construction of the port because this place began to be crowded with tourists.

"Father of the President." call his adjutant again when Jeremy is silent.

"I'm going to rest for a little while, so don't bother me" Jeremy said coldly.

His adjutants gave up and resigned. Jeremy was busy with the papers.

'Emily, I miss you so much. Don't you feel the same way about me? Should I go straight to the flower shop to see you? But, I'm not ready and I don't seem to be ready to accept if it's true that you've remarried.'

In the morning, Jeremy reluctantly had to stop his search because he had to do a review. All night he searched and still found nothing. He didn't fall asleep at all. Jeremy leaves but tells his men to keep looking after him after giving them information about Emily. During the visit, Jeremy was less focused on what they were saying. He wanted to go back and continue his search. After looking around and asking questions and discussing some things with the officials and workers there, Jeremy then returned to his place to stay. Leaving Village Chief Nixon with the other officials after refusing their banquet again.

"Why does Mr President seem to be acting a little strange? To my knowledge, he never refused the banquet he had prepared."

"His face also looks lethargic. Is there anything that bothers her mind?"

"Yesterday Mr. President was like chasing someone. Who's he after?"

"Maybe Mr. President behaved like that because he was thinking about the First Lady who was pregnant" said the Village Chief cutting off the questions of the officials.

"Well.. Maybe the Village Chief is right."

Meanwhile, the people Jeremy orders to look for data on Emily are still busy and serious looking, except for one person who suddenly fell silent looking at the paper in his hand. He looked around and made sure no one noticed him. He then put the paper together with a pile of paper that will be discarded. Pretend to continue searching. After a while he decided to throw the finished files in check.

"I'm going to throw this away first" he said, pointing to the trash that was full, and the others just nodded their heads.

But, right at the doorstep, he meets Jeremy who has returned early. At the sight of Jeremy, the man felt his heart almost dislodged. He looked down saluting.

"Where are you going?" ask Jeremy's aide firmly.

"I'm going to throw away all the documents we've checked" the person said. He tried his best not to look nervous.

"Then, move aside! You're blocking the President's path" the aide said.

The man then stepped aside and gave way. When Jeremy entered the room, the person slowly walked away. But just two steps he walked, Jeremy spoke to stop his steps.

"Wait!!"

The man froze in fear, especially as Jeremy approached him and stood in front of him.

"Take back in everything you brought and check back in front of me!" jeremy's command in a cold tone made the person's body tremble.

"All these files have been checked, Mr. President" he replied without daring to raise his face.

"How dare you refuse the President's orders!! Quickly bring it in and check it back!!" snapped Jeremy's aide.

The adjutant did not understand why the president wanted the man to re-examine the papers, but the man had no right to refuse a president's order.

"Ta..But, this is just trash, Mr. President" said the person trembling.

"You want to check back or should I check myself?!" ask Jeremy angry.

Her adjutant becomes anxious to see Jeremy's face change. He said to the man,

"Hurry up and check everything!!"

But the man still stood still in his place, making Jeremy lose his temper.

"Catch her!! Take all the files he's carrying and put them on my desk. I'll check it myself." Jeremy ordered his aide to be carried out by him.

The person who wanted to throw the file in drag and force stood in front of Jeremy who started to examine the papers. The man trembled in fear knowing he would not survive. While they were still checking inside, they were silent in their respective places. They did not expect that their friend would dare to go against the President.

Jeremy continued to take and read one by one the paper, until after a few sheets he stopped. A file containing Emily's photo is there. Her name is Lily White. Jeremy doesn't know how Emily changed her identity, which he's obviously very happy to find. Especially on the paper it says 'Not Married'. His heart was filled with joy as if he had just found a treasure.
