Falling Into Your Trap

Falling Into Your Trap
Place of Escape; Intermezzo: Questions

The first time the reaction is given is panic. He looked around after a short call cut off from behind his reading glasses. The woman had just finished her report and was preparing to go to another room and help out with the social media team when the call came. His eyes blinked, his fingers pressed to the temple to give him a little self-awareness. He should not panic even though his negative thoughts were running to and fro. Many questions passed, confusing where Hala felt like shouting because he had to be sure that Sinar was okay. Sometimes, exerting too much energy for her work and getting a sudden panic call dazed her.

“La, are you okay?”

The woman gasped as Noella patted her shoulder. He let out an exaggerated sigh as he leaned over the table with both hands quickly supporting his body. Again, he was silent for a moment before taking off his glasses. Her eyes blinked a few times before giving a plain grin to the worried Noella. It was enough with the sudden panic that attacked, he felt stupid. Although the internal head of Hala was getting a little error due to his wandering mind and his still thumping heart was confused, he tried not to get too carried away. The light is fine. The man could even speak at some length about picking her up at the office where she was now in the next fifteen minutes.

“Nothing, just a little dizzy doang, Kok” Hala replied lightly even though his eyes were looking for his now dark sailing phone lying close to his hands.

“Lo sick, La?” there was a hand that attacked her forehead, Hala laughed rather blandly while gently removing Noella's hand.

“No, kok” replied to calm down.

But he knew that he would not be in the office for some time because he had to meet Sinar. Maybe, it's a good idea to skip work. Half a work day might be fine because Sinar really urged him to finish working that second as well. From an urgent phone call, Sinar makes sure that he will take Hala to leave because the man needs her. I don't know what happened, but Hala's worry took all her sanity to continue working at all.

So, this time he tried to lie to save someone. Yeah, he's gonna take this on the grounds that he saved someone else. He ditches in the good. Hala grimaced with her own thoughts. In fact, he had no idea what was going on at all.

“But I think.. a little dizzy.. fever?” it's stupid to lie for what's not going on with his physique. His index and middle fingers he hooked together to prevent his lie from becoming real and apologized for him having to trick Noella for this. And maybe when he applied for permission to Ivora, he would also feel a little guilty. Well, he is smart to lie for his feelings, for himself, but he rarely lies about his health condition in the professional field and of course, he is a good boy who rarely ditches alone.

“Loh? Seriously? Rest lo, La. Do you want me to take you to the health room or do I just take you home? Let you get a full break? I'll be allowed to Ivora Ma'am. Seriously l”

Noella offers swiftly. Women who despite being fond of sticking here and there, is one of the most worried and attention if there are those who are not healthy. Hala smiled somewhat sympathetically at what happened to her. He nodded quickly and panicked a bit. Trying to calm down, Hala snatched a strange laugh.

“Gue can be alone, seriously. I may ask permission to go home, but I can do it myself. You must be busy. Have you been giving away consumer data in two weeks and ready resume for submission of market location next month?”

“Yeah, why dyingetin, anyway, La” Noella responds with a pout that plastered real “My work today is still half I work. That's next month. Not cool lo, I swear” The woman whines.

“Ya already, so you focus on your cooperation. I can do it myself. Seriously. Thanks a lot, yes, Noella” Gives a concerned smile that she tries to smooth over to her co-workers. He patted the woman's shoulder. “Gue can be alone, I swear. When I get home, I'm told. Promise” Hala raised her hand forming a sign of agreement when Noella wanted to speak again.

“OK. But promise of caution on the road?”

“Yoy. I must have gone home safely, Kok”

“Good if it is so”

Hala move. Tidied up a little of his desk scattered with paper and pen. Post-its are falling for not being too tidy and some are in parts that are not supposed to make the woman a little careless because she is not aware of what she is doing during work and why it is visible very messy.

“Oh yes, Noella” Hala called quickly when she handed Noella the file that was placed on her previous desk. There was a grateful smile before Noella asked with a small mutter.

“See Lisa, no?”

Yes, this should have been the first question he asked because fifteen minutes had already been reduced by far. There was something he had to ask his best friend before he actually ditched for the day.

“In pantry, La. I met you there. Again make popmie same coffee if not wrong. You see, the sales boy just finished a meeting for four hours. Somewhat crazy I saw Mr. Leo this week” Noella grimaced, lowering her voice because she did not want her speech deliberately heard by others who would of course get her into trouble.

“Oh, okay. Thanks for the information, ya”

“Yes, be careful anyway!”

Hala nodded. He let Noella to go first to his desk. Wearing the hoodie he had thrown into his chair, he picked up his bag and kept the phone in his hoodie pocket. Rushes to see Lisa quickly before Sinar calls her and says that she is already in the basement. It was the last thing Hala expected because he did not know what was going on until he was a bit too drunk.

Walking towards the pantry, he could see his best friend was enjoying his meal with cold coffee lying a bit away from the file he was carrying. Bluffing in appreciation, Lisa's work must have taken all her energy, even it was still secluded and not half a day had passed. As a perfectionist, Lisa definitely could not let go of unfinished work at all. The meeting, which lasted four hours, must have made his best friend hungry. Soon is a lunch break. Hala had to make sure Lisa for a more decent meal than just noodles as a stomach booster.

“Rest later, do not skip eating rice on the grounds of already eating noodles, yes, lo”

He could see his best friend jolting from the sudden greeting. Calling her warning as a greeting was not too suitable considering she would definitely threaten Lisa if she knew the woman was not taking rice for lunch. Surprised Lisa, hits Hala in the arm as a reflex.

“Don't ngagetin me. Fortunately not my choking with pedes” noodles scorned when the woman took the iced coffee as a neutralizer throatnya after the noodles became his meal.

“Sorry” Hala chuckles. He took a chair to sit next to his friend. “But I'm serious, you don't skip lunch even after eating noodles at this hour. Beware if I do not eat properly, tomorrow I force lo Ngabisin two packs of rice field alone”

“So, I don't think I'll be able to finish aja” Lisa rolled her eyes, but when Hala elbowed the woman, they both laughed as if they had just laughed at a silly joke.

“Take it easy, I eat rice, really, later. With the same lo, how, anyway?” Returning to the still faithful popmie in her hand, lisa flipped another paper on the map containing her file with her other hand. The woman still wants to drown in her work and Hala smiles at how much dedication Lisa gives in whatever she does.

“Saat alas, Lis. I don't think I can eat with you later. So I ngingetin so you keep eating” Hala sighed softly. His hand that had been checking the phone to see the time and the news whether Sinar was in front changed to massage Lisa's open wrist where his best friend was wearing a short-sleeved shirt that day.

“Loh, why?”

“Gue... Pain?” hala's tone was somewhat dazed as she rubbed a question to herself. He blinked, nodding quickly as Lisa shifted all focus on him. “Yes, I'm sick. Wanna go home today. So want to tell lo first”

“Oath? What pain do you have, La? That feeling is still good, huh? Need me anter?”

Ah, Hala forgot that Lisa was a bit overrated in terms of worry when she said about her health condition. Hala gulped, a little unpleasant to have lied to her best friend. But, Sinar already said that Lisa should not know about whatever happened. And of course, when Sinar spoke in a panicked tone like before, Hala said.

“Not bad, really. At least dizzy doang. But I'm going home. Afraid I fall here if more severe” Hala chuckles lightly , making other lies that have certainly caused his best friend's worries even greater.

“Yes geez. Come on I'm anter. I also permission Miss Jelita” Lisa to stand, quickly clean up her files and the rest of the noodles that have not even run out half. Hala held the woman down quickly.

“Eh, no need. I have mesan ojol mobil” Hala berkilah. Inwardly she hoped that Lisa would not see her picked up by Sinar in a moment. “Seriously no need, Lisa. I just want something the same before I go back. Okay, you sit down. Consuming food lo. Unfortunately, if discarded” The pull is getting stronger, so that Lisa who has stood back sits in her place. The worried look on her face caused Hala to grieve her and she lightly patted Lisa on the forehead to make her best friend stop giving such a look. Lisa complained with a sneer on her lips.

“Don't make me feel guilty. Uday, sit down, I'm fine aja”

“Yes how not to worry I'm the same lo. Usually you are the least sick, bego. If you have suddenly been sick like this, is there not something in you?”

“Okay, I'm sick to normal, Lisa. No need to give me that face. I'll heal as soon as possible. I promise” Hala patted gently both of Lisa's cheeks to make the woman's expression come back better. Lisa sighed in defeat, letting Hala smile cheerfully for the person who confessed that she was sick and could fall down at any time.

“Yaudah, cepetan you want to ask what. Ojol lo dateng. Let you get a quick break too” Lisa had the most serious expression on her face and Hala found it a bit strange to ask about what she really wanted to ask. But, he regurgitated the word because most likely the Light had already reached the front red light. He must hurry.

Hala asked carefully, not wanting to make her best friend surprised or offended by her question. If there were any problems between the two of them, Hala might have to be able to put herself between the two. He was only afraid that if Sinar invited him to chat about his problems with Lisa and he mispronounced it would be dangerous for the balance of the three of them. He did not want to get into trouble between the two brothers and he instead became a gasoline that increasingly splashed the burning fire heat that was between the two of them.

“Loh? I'm just as good as Sinar, really. This is in fact I brought with me the usual provisions. Why are you even so, La?”

Hala could sigh in relief as all her almost forgotten panic behind the scenes began to subside a little more. Now he knew that nothing had happened between the two brothers. Everything is fine between them. The light must be experiencing something else. Hala was grateful that she did not have to choose the side between Lisa and Sinar. It wouldn't be nice for him to go through honestly.

“Serious is it okay? You don't why - why and Kak Sinar is also safe?” ask again to make sure. Hala bit her lower lip as both of Lisa's eyebrows frowned with a deep pain. Ugh, he must have looked so weird about that question.

“Gue is the same Kak Sinar there is no problem, Hala. Everything is fine. As far as I spent time with my brother last night until this morning, there was nothing wrong at all. I even had breakfast with him” Lisa tried to remember anything wrong happened this morning or before, but she did not find the slightest discrepancy between her and her sister.”Lo why, anyway? I'm so worried?” and of course, Hala should not have asked twice. The first question is a bit strange.

Hala shook her head quickly. Simultaneously, his phone lit up to display a phone notification. Hala pleasantly surprised and frantically tried to close the caller id and immediately waved his goodbye at Lisa. The woman quickly rushed out of the pantry and picked up the phone. Without saying a word for a parting greeting that day, Lisa was left with so many questions and concerns.

After being abandoned, Lisa quickly sends a message to her best friend. Giving a greeting to get well soon and a promise to stop by when the work is finished later in the afternoon. Lisa chooses to finish her noodles before they expand and cool.

“Hala why, anyway? suddenly nanyain Kak Sinar?” muttered.

With curiosity that mastered it, he decided to contact his brother. However, the long time he waited, the man did not lift his call at all. Clucking, he chose to send a message asking for the man's news. Hala's question got him in mind. Normally, Hala would not ask such a thing if Lisa did not complain about anything to him. However, it could be that the older brother is also complaining about something to the woman and she is only left in a position of ignorance.

Raising both of her shoulders, Lisa again flipped through her work file. He must finish taking care of whatever is in the report of the meeting before he is required to re-create the latest resume and portfolio of the items being discussed to be launched the following season. Mr. Leo really made his head hurt from how much the man wanted something that attracted more consumers this month.

“Lisa?”

One sudden call from a familiar voice made him choke. It was choking from how quickly he swallowed the noodles that he hadn't even had time to chew properly. Coughing and looking for her drink, the woman felt a pat on her back with a somewhat frantic gesture and a hastily uttered apology, somewhat sounding like a shock of regret.

“Ah, Miss Jelita. Sorry, I'm surprised. Wouldn't have expected Miss to come and call me suddenly so”

Lisa is a bit clumsy, embarrassed for doing the silliness. Choking unethically in front of people he admires is the last option he wants to do. But here he was, feeling like hitting himself. But how is it all his fault if the woman comes without a sound and just calls him out while he is focusing on his work? And also the food if he counts about it.

“Aduh, I'm sorry about that. I don't mean to bother you” Jelita grimaces, the smile of her apology makes Lisa melt.

If one could say, That woman was so beautiful even when she smiled in such a ringing alone, Lisa would not be able to withstand the vexation within her. Ah, even he couldn't feel upset if the Woman scolded him about something, she will only be further motivated because her idol is the best and she will be Lisa's role model for the beautiful and cool things Jelita can model even if she just stays in place and didn't do anything. That woman who was older than him was really the definition of what Lisa wanted to be like.

“Yes, it's okay Miss. I just did not focus on the situation around” Lisa waved lightly, trying not to make Jelita feel guilty. It's not a big thing to feel that way. “Oh, yes. What's up, huh, Miss call me? Does the meeting start? Well, I haven't finished reading and made a short resume, Miss.” Panicking, Lisa hasn't even read half of the meeting files that open on the table.

“Oh, not” Jelita shook her head quickly. The woman sat next to Lisa, replacing Hala before her.

“that, I saw Hala downstairs. She's home?”

Lisa blinked before smiling a little sadly. “Hala is sick, Miss. Just got permission from Miss. Ivorra. He's been picked up by his order car bulge, eat it in a hurry. I hope she's okay, Miss. Hala rarely hurts, so I'm a bit unwell can't help her coming home today”

“Loh? He wears a car ojol?” Jelita suddenly asked with shock and strangeness that made Lisa put on a serious expression.

“Loh? No emang? She told me so, Miss.”

Jelita. Somewhat serious about his next speech.

“So I saw him below, picked up by Mas Sinar.”

“Hah?!” being surprised was not what could be mentioned so easily this time. Lisa really felt thrown from the statement Jelita gave her.

“Iya. I seriously” Jelita firmly and firmly stated. Lying too Lisa felt it would never be done by Jelita just to tease her and make gossip. The woman was not so petty and Lisa was sure so.

“So I saw Mas Sinar come out for Nemuin Hala. And.. oh, yes Hala same Mas Sinar what is the relationship, yes, Lisa?”

Lisa was speechless. Something is strange. Why did Hala have to lie and why did Sinar not even reply to the message and pick up his phone? Why did Hala ask such a strange question and of course, how should she answer Jelita's question that Sinar as her brother had put a taste for many years with Hala as her best friend, at Jelita who clearly had feelings for the older sister from what she understood when they were met at the Madevison sales house?

What should Lisa say?

“Ah, why, yes, Miss is so?”

And whatever Jelita said afterwards, made Lisa want to bang her head on the table. Something's up. And that's very suspicious.

“Soalya I saw Mas Sinar hugging Hala. Very like a couple. So, I would like to ask if they are dating or how.. because I want to know Mas Sinar further, Lisa..”.

Uh. Lisa thinks she's going crazy that second, too.
